Moreover, multiple members of the team (such as engineers) were present on all calls where we requested to speak directly to them. The team made their best effort to deliver the website in time, despite the multitude of new technical features that they needed to learn to carry out the fancy design of the website. Digital Butlers were not like that at all. I was mindblown by the attention to detail and absolute dedication to making the website as perfect as possible. Even if it meant staying up long nights, working overtime, and fixing the smallest details (such as optimizing speed and fixing textures).

Our account representative is fantastic with managing the various projects. Everything has always come in within budget and on time, unless there has been a major delay on our part. I have been extremely pleased that from their end, everything runs on time, and we have a project schedule to which we strictly adhere. The quality of work is great, too. There have been a couple of projects where we were upgrading the Sitecore system; we had to upgrade from Sitecore 6.1 to 6.5. That upgrade was completely flawless. Projects never come in early and under-budget; that never happens. I feel very confident in working with them, and that’s largely why this year we’re jumping into such large projects with them. They have a proven track record with us.

The difference was night and day in terms of ease of supervision between Aktiv and the previous company we had hired. After a while, I found that I had a hard time engaging the same people at the old company because they were always handing us off internally. We had lost our project manager early on, and the remaining team members didn't stay on track. As a result, I had to stay on top of the developers a lot more just to keep the project moving along at the pace that it did. That wasn’t the case with Aktiv at all. They set the timeline and they stuck with it.
