BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-CEO of a company that combines alternative legal services and specialized recruiting services. We work with clients in two ways: we can deploy our own attorneys into the clients' teams and work on a consultancy basis, providing senior-level attorneys who aren't part of the permanent client's team. On the other hand, we can recruit litigators for clients who need them to work with them permanently.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudMellow?

We needed help with our website design and logo design. We wanted to work with a company that could help us with the logo, color selection, and some of the language on the website, and then implement those things into a very polished and visually appealing digital store. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudMellow has designed and developed our company's website. The team has also designed our logo and created sales collateral materials. We've provided CloudMellow with our company's information, and the team has supported us with copywriting. CloudMellow has designed our site using Figma.

What is the team composition?

I worked with around 4–5 teammates from CloudMellow, including design and copywriting teams. 

How did you come to work with CloudMellow?
My co-founder found CloudMellow through a referral and set up a call with them. We went through an initial proposal phase where CloudMellow gave us a quote. We provided the team with a walkdown of our business and what we were looking for, and CloudMellow described what they could bring from a design and implementation standpoint. We selected CloudMellow because we found a lot of value in their pricing and contacted other companies with exorbitant prices.

How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $15,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with CloudMellow in December 2022, and our engagement is ongoing. The team launched our site in June 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen an increase in brand awareness since our engagement with CloudMellow started. We're a premium business and have a low volume of sales. CloudMellow has delivered a great website that has helped us start conversations with potential clients. Our site works, and I love the design. The team delivers high-quality work and has implemented great custom features, so it's not a static site. CloudMellow is a one-stop shop and a first-level agency.

How did CloudMellow perform from a project management standpoint?

CloudMellow is timely and does an excellent job of managing our timelines. The team meets deadlines and has delivered work ahead of schedule and on budget. We use Figma for project management and communicate with CloudMellow through emails and phone calls too.  

What did you find most impressive about them?
I'm mostly impressed with CloudMellow's deliverables and ability to integrate work into a seamless experience for the client. The team showcases outstanding development and design skills with a great perspective of user flow. CloudMellow has provided exceptional design expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything for CloudMellow to improve. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend potential clients have a clear point of view as to what they want for the project and their business offer. I also recommend having an idea of how they want to articulate their business offer to the market when engaging with CloudMellow.
