I’m the founder of Ethical Life LLC. We create and sell high-quality supplements that are free from GMOs, artificial colors and flavors. Our products are made in the USA, vegan, and free from animal ingredients. We also promote plant-based nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.

The main objective was to clarify our messaging, design a visual identity that reflected our core values, and create marketing strategies that would resonate with a socially conscious audience. Ultimately, I wanted to position Ethical Life as a trusted leader in ethical living. I needed a creative team that could help bring that vision to life with clarity and purpose.

The team has worked on logo design, color palette, typography, visual style guide, brand voice and messaging, label layouts, and print-ready files. The team has also created a sustainable and minimalism labeling look and feel.

Between design and setting up my account for WooCommerce and Stripe, 3–5 core team members have been involved. I’ve appreciated the consistency of working with the same team members throughout the entire project.

The project started in February 2025, and the website development, label design, and branding ended in July 2025. The team is still working on developing the brand strategy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website is fully launched, functional, and ready to sell our product. We have a presence on social media with over 1,500 visits recently. The label has been completed and submitted to the manufacturer. Although the product isn’t ready to be sold yet, we’ve received hundreds of positive reviews about the website and label from family, friends, and coworkers. The website looks visually appealing and professional. The label has a modern and minimalism look with health-conscious individuals in mind.

Nika Agency delivered on time and even went beyond the original scope by adding thoughtful extras that elevated the final outcome. There’s always someone available to respond to my emails within an hour or two. We primarily communicate through emails and scheduled weekly video calls. We approached Nika with a general brief and website outline. From this, they proposed a few high level mockups. We downselected, and started passing along copy and graphical assets to be placed in the templates. As pages were content completed, they moved to a development environment. We reviewed the final design in a staging environment before everything was pushed live.

When we first met Nika Digital Agency, we were in need of help creating a website for our business. Our previous site was outdated and needed to be completely rebuilt. Together our team created something that not only turned out better than expected but also captured the essence of what this company stands. They started by exploring the brand, then creating wireframes and each page meticulously making sure each page had a layout that accomplished what the sections needed to showcase, and then upon approval moved to program the site.

They processed everything with a 30-point check and balance system with their team to make sure there were no errors. Upon approval, we went live. The best part was the passionate service and innovation while staying true to our brand at all times. The end result? An innovative WordPress site designed by someone who really gets it.

We had some challenges with online advertising, specifically on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nika Digital Agency manages all our online ads on Google. They make sure the leads are coming in, and the team improves the campaigns and checks we’re not overspending. In the beginning, they took over our daily tasks because they had to fix what was already done. Once they set it up, they taught us how to inform them of changes and things we need to accomplish with the campaign.

Once a year, we have a meeting to review the year's goals from our perspective. Then, they advise us on what we can and cannot do. Once every quarter, they send a detailed review of the campaign, and we also get monthly and quarterly reports.

Additionally, they’ve helped with some display campaigns, providing samples and insights so our graphic designer could do the display ads.

We initially worked with a couple of people, but Ali (Founder & CEO) is our main point of contact. We also work with someone else depending on what we need to do.

We found them online on Google, and our goal was to find a local agency. They were in San Jose, so they were pretty close to us. They were one of the first companies to respond, and we needed someone on top of everything. The next day, we drove there and had our first meeting. They had a presentation ready with all the improvements we could make to the current campaign and in the next six months. Also, they went over the website and checked everything was fine.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay $1,250 per month. In total, we’ve spent $60,000 in four years.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2018, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track our monthly and quarterly metrics, and Nika Digital Agency has been able to increase the leads we get from Google, which is what we want. Moreover, they’ve managed to get a lot out of our budget, considering that Google Ads’ pricing keeps going up. Since we depend 100% on Google to generate leads, we have no complaints. We’re happy with their services; they’ve been great. We’ll continue working with them.

How did Nika Digital Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines and always recommend where to allocate our budget. We pay them a fixed amount of money; they haven’t increased it in four years. 

For project management, we use a simple spreadsheet where we can adjust the budgets. Every time we need changes, we just email them. They make the changes quickly, in 1–2 days.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a professional agency. They know what they’re doing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They delivered good reports in the beginning, but a year and a half ago, they automated them. The quality of the reports went down; we didn’t have a metric we needed. After two months, we told them about it, and they immediately changed it. Right now, we don’t need more changes.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You need to know what you want to do with Google Ads. Before we started, we worked on a campaign for a year. Based on that, we gave Nika Digital Agency many ideas of where we wanted to go. Since they’re an established company, I don’t think they’d work with someone who doesn’t have a budget or a base idea of what they need.

Nika Digital Agency first built a one-page website with some early renderings of our truck and basic information about the company. We then worked with them over the next couple of months to develop the complete website, which we have now.

They utilized a sketch I created to flesh out the basic wireframe, provided five different thematic concepts, and implemented features and functionalities.

They used WordPress as their primary building platform and designed the interface on Figma.

Metrics aren’t a driving factor for our business, but we’ve had a lot of positive feedback from customers, and the website generally impresses everyone who visits it.

They completed the quality website as quickly as possible, which was really helpful, and I feel like we’ve gotten a fair value for what we asked of them.

They were consistently responsive and quick to resolve our issues and concerns. We typically communicated through phone calls, Google Meet, and Zoom.

We didn’t necessarily know what we wanted, so we were impressed with their ability to adapt to our needs, and present us with what we felt was a unique visual identity for the website.

I can’t think of anything they need to improve on, because most of the challenges of the partnership were from our side.
