We wanted to make sure that the site would be optimized for search engines since we were not in the top results for any of our projects if you searched for them. We wanted to showcase our fantastic photography and make sure that the site was easy to update as we will have changes to the team, portfolio, news, and other items on an ongoing basis.

Our old website had many navigation, presentation, and SEO issues that were a top priority for us to solve. We have a fabulous new website that just launched this week. We have received so many compliments about how impressive the site is in the few short days that it has been live.

I’m the VP of strategic growth for Thrillz High Flying Adventure Parks. We have 50,000-square-foot adventure parks.

What challenge were you trying to address with DD.NYC®?
We needed help with web design and development. We wanted to showcase our parks' offerings: obstacle courses, food options, attractions, and rides. We also wanted the site to be functional and show our pricing, hours, and how to get there. Overall, we wanted to clarify to our customers what our parks are and make the website easy to use.

What was the scope of their involvement?
DD.NYC® created brand-new WordPress websites for two of our adventure park locations. Initially, we requested an intro consult call. We had a call with Anjelika (Managing Partner & Creative Director), who walked us through all the customer examples she thought were similar to our parks. Then, she walked us through the process and gave us some insight into pricing.
They came to us with three design options, and then we picked the one that worked best for us. Additionally, we gave them direction on how we wanted the flow to be on the website because we knew what our customers liked.
What is the team composition?
Besides Anjelika, we had a lead creative designer, a project manager, and a website developer.
How did you come to work with DD.NYC®?
I thought I had found them on Google, but DD.NYC® later told me that I actually found them through Clutch. Clutch came up in my Google search while I was looking for web designers and developers.

We met them in May 2023, and they launched the website in January 2024.

I’m the head of corporate marketing for VTS, a commercial real estate technology insights and support company. We focus on solutions for commercial real estate front offices. Ultimately, we’re a SaaS and data company. I oversee our creatives, brand, thought leadership, and product marketing.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with DD.NYC®?
We’ve engaged DD.NYC® to create Keynote presentations for our flagship customer conference. It’s an annual thought leadership conference where hundreds of VTS customers — mostly executive audiences — come to hear our company's latest events and developments.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
DD.NYC® creates a large-scale interactive presentation for our executives. Usually, our CEO and CPO give Keynote presentations. The annual conference happens in May, so we kick off the engagement process at the end of February or early March — it’s a lengthy process. I first work with our CEO and CPO to get a general outline of the story for a specific year. We then determine the key ideas we want to discuss with our audience.
From there, the DD.NYC® team works with us to hone the story of our company’s new developments and exciting events. They also do all the design work to ensure all visuals come to life.
For the first few weeks, Anjelika (Managing Partner & Creative Director) and our executives work together on the story and specific notes, words, and slides for the presentation. From there, we spend the next 4–6 weeks to get all the design elements in place. We design each slide and make sure they flow together.
What’s interesting about this year’s conference is that DD.NYC® has designed two presentations that are synchronized together. Two screens show different visuals to tell one story. DD.NYC® has used an app to create the design elements; the presentation is on Keynote. A lot of those elements have been heavily animated, and the team has used a combination of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud to do this.
Before fully animating the slides, they prototype them using Figma, which gives us a static version. This allows us to review the slides one by one and align them with what we will say.
What is the team composition?
The team composition changes as we approach the presentation day because of the increasing complexities and our effort to push the envelope creatively.
We first work with Anjelika alongside Oksana (Senior Project Manager), who makes sure everyone is on the same page about our next steps. Two lead designers and one lead animator work on the presentation, and we’ve added more designers and animators as needed. At some point, we’ve had to add an extra project manager and a couple more designers.
In total, we’ve worked with more than eight teammates from DD.NYC®, including Polina (Design Team Lead), Dasha (Graphic Design Intern), and one other teammate.
How much have you invested with them?
Every year, our investment ends up at around $70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We initially engaged them in February 2023 and then used their services again in 2024. We’re going to retain them for our annual conference and other Keynote initiatives, so the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We do post-event surveys with our customers every year to get a sense of what value they find in the event and what we can do better. The customers have given all top marks for the Keynote portion of the event. Anecdotally, there’s a lot of goodwill and good feedback from our VTS teammates and customers on how awesome everything looks. Around 300 customers are in attendance during the conference, and all of them see the presentation — it’s truly well-received.
I’m grateful for the way DD.NYC® has handled this year’s process because it’s been quite complex. Designing one presentation is already challenging; having two screens with different visuals syncing together is even more complicated. On top of that, executives often want to tweak the story up to the last minute or before the presentation happens. Luckily, DD.NYC® is awesome in storytelling.
They’ve been with us the entire time, and not many agencies are willing to put in so much time and effort to keep up with the changes in something as complex as our presentation. The DD.NYC® team has done that, and the results are fantastic.
How did DD.NYC® perform from a project management standpoint?
DD.NYC® is willing to extend themselves in terms of hours to ensure they hit deadlines. Plenty of other agencies out there will just give up when the scope of work gets extended. For comparison, DD.NYC® hits their deadlines with mounting complexities. They put in extra hours to make sure everything is perfect.
For tools, we use Slack for real-time communication. However, we’ve also had many in-person meetings with Anjelika and her teammates. Those working remotely work with us through Zoom consistently. Bird Eats Bug has also been useful for us, especially toward the end. It’s a recording software that allows us to record our screens, talk about what we’re seeing and want to change, and immediately upload the clip to a shared cloud folder.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Our partnership with Anjelika has been great. She runs DD.NYC® and is responsible for other customer engagements apart from us. It’s incredible how much she’s involved in the process with us while managing other relationships and projects.
The same thing goes for Oksana. She has to focus on many things simultaneously, but she’s done a marvelous job keeping everyone organized and on the same page. She’s there every step of the way — from when we’re sorting the story out to when we reach the finish line.
Polina, Dasha, and the other teammate have also been great. They’ve been put through the wringer to get the presentation to the finish line, but they’ve stuck with it through everything. Their output has been phenomenal and top-notch.
While other teammates have stepped in, these are the five teammates that I truly admire and appreciate from DD.NYC®.
What did you find most impressive about them?
DD.NYC® is excellent in terms of creatives and designs; they’re also great in establishing the narrative we want to tell. The animations they’ve incorporated into the presentation have been impressive. Every slide is a video animation; they’ve created more than 70 slides to show on two screens. The sheer number of videos they’ve had to develop has been remarkable.
On top of that, the clarity of the animations on a large screen has been great. Usually, the bigger the screen, the more likely the video will look pixelated or fuzzy. However, everything that DD.NYC® produces has been crystal clear on a large format — they’re distinctly good at this.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. They’ve worked hard to make a beautiful end product, and I can’t thank them enough for working as hard as they do on a challenging project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you want to work on your branding, digital assets, or website, ensure that Anjelika is involved in figuring out what story you want to tell — she’s great at honing a narrative for executive audiences. She can also quickly translate that into a creative direction.
Many other agencies do good design work. Using those agencies is fine if you just need to make something look nice. However, if you want to elicit emotions and tell a story, then DD.NYC® is the best choice. Anjelika, in particular, is a great partner for that.

Our company website was nearly 10 years old and had horrible SEO. We needed to desgin a new, modern website that could showcase our development portfolio and tell a great story about our company.
We wanted to make sure that the site would be optimized for search engines since we were not in the top results for any of our projects if you searched for them. We wanted to showcase our fantastic photography and make sure that the site was easy to update as we will have changes to the team, portfolio, news, and other items on an ongoing basis.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our old website had many navigation, presentation, and SEO issues that were a top priority for us to solve. The new website designed by DD.NYC took all of these concerns into consideration, optimizing search, making sure the site scales to different devices, and designing a logical layout and beautiful pages that are easy to navigate and understand.
We have a fabulous new website that just launched this week. We have received so many compliments about how impressive the site is in the few short days that it has been live.

DD.NYC was on top of every step of the process. From the start, they created a projected timeline with delivery dates and built in review and feedback time. They were always on time delivering on their stated deadlines and were responsive to our team to make sure that they got our feedback even when we had delays in decision making.
When our team needed a little more time to review, they adjusted the timeline to make it clear when new deadlines were set. They were always very responsive to feedback and flexible to schedule calls and/or in person meetings to review.

I believe that DD.NYC is a great firm. They kept us on track through a difficult process of updating a decade old website that ended up having quite a few unexpected turns. They are wonderful and we would love to work with them again!

We needed their team to develop an e-commerce website.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We began with an initial discussion to learn more about the company and our desires for the relationship. We did market research to better understand the industry, sector, and particular market segment that we’re involved in.Then, there was the creation of a prototype of the website from scratch.
It’s currently under development on one site component. We’ll pass it off and implement it, but we haven’t gotten to those later steps yet. They use a lot of technologies internally which include JPEGs, JPG files, PDF files, word documents, presentations, and web pages. They also designed our

I’ve worked with 6–7 people from their team. That includes Mario (Co-Founder) and Dario (Tech Lead).

How did you come to work with?
We came up with a strategy and process that best coincided with what we were looking for. The guidelines and processes we used in the past were simple, fast, and professional. We didn’t have a long-term relationship, so it was important for us to work with a vendor that could grow alongside our company.
Summit was one of the first companies to respond to our request for information. They provided a detailed proposal, and we decided to go with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since September 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
While we haven’t released the websites yet, there are definitely going to be KPIs associated with their work. They’ve definitely shown through their knowledge of the various components that go into brand recognition and awareness, and they have all the necessary materials to have a successful brand and marketing engagement
How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?
There was tons of communication around deadlines. They hit most of our deadlines. Sometimes they were earlier, and then we would move up our review call to make sure we had everything we needed. We had no issues with meeting deadlines. We mostly used email, Google Hangouts, and Basecamp.
That helped us keep track of all the different people and tasks. We also had a standing meeting every week at the beginning of the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication skills and industry knowledge are impressive. I like that they have a strong understanding of our particular industry and what we’re trying to accomplish with our brand.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think so.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
No, I don't think they are below industry standards. Both of our teams did a great job overall.

Our team initially mapped out what we needed and had brainstorming sessions with DD.NYC®. We discussed what we wanted to accomplish with the website. Then, they created three design concepts. We picked one concept but also combined it with the elements of the other concepts. The team moved forward with the design we liked and built the website’s pages.
After we confirmed the final design, the development started. It lasted around three weeks. They sent the website to our server manager, who uploaded the new website to our current website domain. For key technologies, the designers used Figma, and the website was on WordPress.

We had an initial consultation meeting where we discussed the redesign process. We wanted to include more digital media and animations on the website. They also looked into our logo and figured out what they could do.
This branding effort was for my development company. After finishing the discovery phase, they put together three options for our review. They walked us through the materials they designed, including the logo, packaging, and brochures. We fine-tuned one of the options and developed it from there.

DD.NYC®’s work exceeded my expectations. The builders and developers watching my project even called and asked about our contract with DD.NYC®. Overall, the team took my website, marketing, branding, and packaging up another level.
How did DD.NYC® perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was great. There were never any increases in cost even when started shifting a bit and making minor changes. They followed through completely and didn’t ask for more money. Besides that, they delivered on schedule. Anjelika communicated through phone calls, texts, emails, and Zoom meetings. They used every possible avenue to stay in touch with us. Oksana was also amazing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Even though they were in New York and we’re in Texas, DD.NYC® was able to capture our vision from the initial interview — as if they were in the same place as us. They captured the images and feel of our community alongside my vision and the company’s branding. They put everything together and met my expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. I wouldn’t change anything they’d done. They had no shortcomings.

Come to the engagement with DD.NYC® with an open mind. They’ll listen to you, your feedback, and your vision. From there, they’ll give you options that you should carefully consider.
