      Project management was excellent. Weekly Zoom meetings and regular emails kept us on track and up-to-date. Links to sample pages helped to visualize progress.       It was evident that Massive Media had the chops to create something beautiful and engaging based on their portfolio and company website - and they delivered a beautiful end product that we're really proud of. What was most unexpected and impressive though, turned out to be the openness to pitch in with innovative creative ideas based on what they learned during research and discovery about Doberman's personality and aspirations. An example is that Doberman identified a print half tone/dot matrix type aesthetic as something we liked - BUT, we recognized that we produce content for television, not for print. Massive came up with a solution that felt in the spirit of what we loved about the print aesthetic but was geared towards tv - tube TV square pixels.

      C42 strictly followed their very structured process outlined by the SOW. Timelines were tightly held by C42. Customer was the holdup and cause for extended development schedule. C42 team was very interactive from the very first introductory call. Their use of Basecamp as a communication tool took a moment to get used to but worked very well. They were equally responsive in other communication tools such as email and phone calls, but clearly prefer Basecamp for record keeping and their internal communication with team members. C42 seems committed to making sure their service and deliverables are prompt and on time. Any delays were customer related. C42 was very understanding when it came to our internal content review and the delays that it caused while gaining team member consensus.

They listened to our needs and guided us on best practices and how to build certain features. Baunfire knowledge went beyond traditional web development. Our previous agency constantly told us that they couldn’t do certain things to the site. However, when Baunfire came in, they told us that, in reality, the other agency didn’t want to do them. Those requirements were doable, but they required putting in a little more effort.

      Our project manager was Stacy [Director of Operations, Fastspot]. She was fantastic, and I never saw her get flustered. The collaboration was challenging because they were remote. We were only able to meet with them maybe three times in person. Stacy always made herself available. She adjusted the schedule whenever something threw us off track. I was amazed that she remembered everything I said and stayed so personable. Stacy was open to listening to me and understanding where I was coming from. Overall, she was a fantastic project manager. We talked on the phone a lot and used Basecamp to manage our progress.

The team made their best effort to deliver the website in time, despite the multitude of new technical features that they needed to learn to carry out the fancy design of the website. Digital Butlers were not like that at all. I was mindblown by the attention to detail and absolute dedication to making the website as perfect as possible. Even if it meant staying up long nights, working overtime, and fixing the smallest details (such as optimizing speed and fixing textures).

      The turnaround time is amazing. I've worked with other companies and it takes them much longer to produce the results or give us projects. Whereas with them, I can tell them to do something now, and in a few hours they will have it completed and ready to go, which is really important for us, especially when you're dealing with e-commerce.       I was comfortable talking with him. I'm the guy who likes to know everything that I'm managing, so I could probably get a little annoying with a lot of questions, but he was patient, and he always answered my questions and re-answered them if I couldn't understand the first time. So, I think they're good at that interface with the client. Second, for the price that we paid, they do very clean work. I think their designer's style is just very clean and crisp. That really works for me.

They remained calm under pressure and offered a number of keen insights throughout the process. The firm responsible for the visual design wasn’t nearly as effective or responsive as Duo Consulting, but the Duo project managers were able to corral them and keep them on track, which was fantastic.
