We selected Mojo Media after speaking with hundreds of web design agencies in Canada as well as in the United States. Mojo Media's portfolio stood out to us the most in terms of having the best quality of work and the most beautiful websites. Their prices are very affordable especially considering their quality of work.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project started with a discovery call where we went over a few general initial questions so that the team at Mojo Media could get an idea of what we were looking for. After this, the team did in-depth research on our competitors to see how they could create a website that stands out from our competitors.
The team developed wireframes to show us the layout that would generate the highest conversion rate. Then their team began the design and development. Once this was done, a meeting was scheduled to present the website. Mojo Media offers unlimited revisions, however, we only made a few minor revisions.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with a few members of the team. Our main point of contact was Sara, the founder. We had all of the meetings with Sara. Other team members included two web designers, a graphic designer, and a developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since launching our new website, our traffic has tripled and our conversion rate has increased by 78%. Users find it very easy to navigate the new website to find the information they're looking for, and we constantly receive compliments about how beautiful the new website is!

The workflow was very effective and efficient. The team always made themselves available and were more than willing to spend any amount of time to ensure the job gets done. They replied to emails very fast and implemented changes quickly.

I’m a co-owner and manager at an event rental business. We rent party equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, dishes, and linen.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mojo Media?
Our website had a lot of issues; it hadn’t been developed all that well. Moreover, we didn’t know what those problems were exactly and why they were arising because we didn’t know much about web development, so we knew something needed to be done. The company that has been managing our social media marketing told us it was time to redo our website.
We wanted a website that was easy for our customers to navigate. Additionally, we wanted it to be easy to make changes so that when we needed to upload photos, correct texts, or make changes to the prices, we didn’t have to go to someone else.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mojo Media redesigned and built our WordPress website from scratch. They migrated content from our old website to the new one, including images and some content. On the site, users can place orders. Although the site is e-commerce-ready, users can't complete transactions through it. They can browse the pricing, then fill out a contact form, and we respond to them via email.
What is the team composition?
I mainly dealt with Sarah (Founder & CEO), who acted as a project manager.
How did you come to work with Mojo Media?
We found them on Clutch, where I came across Mojo Media, among others. I talked to a lot of vendors that were charging more for the same thing. However, I was cynical about their pricing initially because their services cost a lot less, so I kept looking at options after talking to them.
I consulted our SEO provider, looked at Mojo Media's work for other clients, and talked to previous customers. Additionally, the other companies weren't convincing me they were better. The team was candid, open, and seemed competent, so I went with Mojo Media.

We spent about $3,200 CAD (approximately $2,400 USD).

The project lasted from February–March 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had comments from customers saying our site is so much easier to navigate. Moreover, our Google rankings didn’t drop once we launched the new site, which was one of our biggest concerns going into the project. Often, there’s a dip in rankings with new websites that can last anywhere from two days to a couple of weeks. Mojo Media worked very hard to prevent that from happening, making sure any changes they made didn’t affect our Google rankings.
How did Mojo Media perform from a project management standpoint?
I would give them the highest marks for project management; they worked very fast. We communicated via phone calls, text messages, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Mojo Media’s biggest strength was their customer service; they were approachable and always available. There wasn’t a single time when I didn’t get a response within minutes; at the very most, they took a couple of hours, which was rare.
Moreover, they did what I wanted and didn't try to push what they wanted to do, which distinguished them from other developers I talked to. If I didn’t like something, they didn’t try to convince me otherwise — they changed it without a problem. Mojo Media wouldn’t end the project until I was fully satisfied, and I was.

I can’t think of anything they needed to improve.

Mojo Media designed and developed a WordPress website for me. I first had an initial phone call to discuss my ideas of what I wanted to see and what I wanted to avoid. The team gave me the pros and cons, what works and what doesn’t, what looks better for SEO, and so on. They also made recommendations for marketing it, but I decided to focus on development at the time. When I came to a decision, they took what we discussed and proceeded with the development process.

Right from the start, we received tons of compliments about our website. I’m the owner of Mr. GreenClean Auto Detailing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mojo Media?
Our revenue had been steady for the past couple of years, and most of it was coming from website bookings. We thought a website redesign could capitalize on that trend.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mojo Media completely redeveloped our website. They analyzed our existing website and ran checks to identify the keywords that would bring us the most user traffic. After implementing that information into the website, they installed a live-chat tool so my team could interact more with our customers. Mojo Media also added a blog and an extra page of company information so customers can get to know more about my company and our team.
Now, Mojo Media is helping us manage our social media presence.

I only spoke to Sara (Founder), so I don’t know how many other people were on the Mojo Media team.

Sara was fantastic, and much better than the two companies I’d worked with previously. It was nice to work with a very hands-on business founder. We communicated via online chats and email. Sara was very flexible with scheduling; I could call her as late as 10 p.m., which was beneficial because I am busy running my company during regular business hours.
Mojo Media was efficient, even when I was behind schedule. Sara worked seven days a week and was very resourceful. She conveyed deadlines for each aspect of the project well — Sara answered my questions quickly and wasn’t afraid to ask her own questions about what I wanted. Overall, she was a positive, professional individual.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Mojo Media was much more involved with my business than the other web designers I’ve worked with; they just wanted my money and gave me generic designs. Sara started the whole project from scratch and tailored everything to my business. If there were issues with the website, she’d address them within 24 hours. Before, it took three days to solve site issues, and we’d inevitably lose customers.
She kept all of her promises — she stands out from the competition. It was a great experience working with Sara, and I plan to use Mojo Media in the future because they’ve proven they get things done and can communicate well.

Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with Mojo Media’s work. The ads have brought in a lot of business for me. They’ve exceeded my expectations, and the team does a great job.

Mojo Media’s project management is great. Everything has been straightforward. Our touchpoints in terms of deliverables are always on time; there’s never any delay or lag in communication. The deadlines that we’ve set have also been met.

The team is truly straightforward — they don’t fluff. I’ve talked to other companies, and those companies always make outrageous promises. By contrast, Mojo Media goes straight to the point. They tell me what I’ll get and what I can expect.
Moreover, I know Google Ads well; I just don’t have the time to manage everything. As a result, I know that the team is quite transparent. Given that, I haven’t had any hesitations or worries in terms of working with them. To communicate, we mainly use emails.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. I’ve compared their pricing to some of the quotes I’ve received, and their price is fair — I have no complaints about it and the results of their work.

Have everything prepared in terms of files, photos, videos, and everything else you need. Then, do your own research in terms of what Google Ads are, how the Mojo Media team works, and what kind of services they provide.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of ecobc. We’re a condo maintenance company in Toronto, Ontario.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mojo Media?
They help us with web design and SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, one of Mojo Media’s representatives reached out, collected our information, and ran us through a questionnaire to determine what we were looking for and what we wanted to accomplish. Then, they assigned us an agent, who became our touchpoint.
They check up on us throughout the process and whenever they finish a part of the project. Once we agree and say we’re happy, they move on. Now, they manage our web hosting, pay for everything on the renewals, and keep ongoing website management.

We receive inbound calls about our services. They can be from their SEO or word of mouth, but we can’t really tell. However, since 2020, there has been more inbound business and word of mouth. Overall, we’re pretty impressed with their level of service.

It’s been pretty good. Their turnaround time was pretty decent on the website, and they didn’t shy away after the work was done. They followed up with us afterward and asked us if we wanted to tweak things — even after we finished the contact, they delivered. Overall, it’s pretty sweet to deal with them.
Additionally, we have someone who follows up with us to see how things are going. We communicate through email, and if we need to do more, I jump on a call with the two developers. They pick my brain to see what we want, then deliver it. I’m not a tech person, but they make it really easy.

Their customer service and customer satisfaction are outstanding. We haven’t used the competition, so we can’t compare and give an honest answer, but our experience with Mojo Media has been excellent.
