I’m the Head of Development at Lonestar Soccer Club, a youth soccer organization offering programs for ages 4-19. We focus on player development, people development, and providing competitive and recreational opportunities for all skill levels and backgrounds.

What challenge were you trying to address with GLIDE®?

We needed help designing and developing our new website to create a more intuitive and compelling digital storefront for families looking for soccer opportunities throughout Central Texas. We also wanted to position Lonestar SC as a thought leader and authority figure in the world of youth soccer in Central Texas.

GLIDE® designed and developed our website on WordPress. The team was also responsible for SEO, information architecture, and tech stack consulting.

We found GLIDE® through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, had pricing that fit our budget, had a great culture fit and company values that aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2025 and ceased when the website launched in April 2026. We use them periodically for web support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have data yet, but the look and feel of the website have drastically improved, along with how intuitive and simple it is to navigate the website. We’ve also seen a 30%–50% increase in sponsorship inquiries, which we directly attribute to the new website.

How did GLIDE® perform from a project management standpoint?

GLIDE®’s project management has been phenomenal. Madeline has been wonderful to work with. She’s responsive, organized, and shows a lot of leadership throughout the project. We mostly communicated via email and had 1x weekly standing meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

GLIDE® makes complex ideas very clear and easy to understand. They’re great teachers and educators, so we feel like we know what’s going on the entire time which made it very easy to trust them throughout the project.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

I'm the senior director of marketing for a logistics company. We provide over-the-road transportation services for shippers across North America.

GLIDE® has provided web design and development services. The team has created a brand-new website from scratch, including the backend and frontend. They've also migrated some resources from the old website, but essentially built a new webpage.

The team continues to provide maintenance services and continuous website improvement. The team also offers PPC and SEO services and helps us build our content strategy.

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager, a creative director, and an implementation team.

How did you come to work with GLIDE®?

We interviewed many agencies before settling on GLIDE®. We went through a quite extensive vetting process and a pretty stringent statement of work. They definitely worked hard to get our business.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2024, the website was launched in July 2024, and our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team's work has been incredible. They have transformed our website and seen an incredible amount of traffic. They have continued to optimize our website, and we see more results month over month. The team has helped us rank for service-based and interest-based target keywords, which we never had before.

They've also helped us build out our content strategy and whatnot, so it's been an incredible journey with them just to see the amount of traffic that they've helped us generate to the website.
The product was stunning, I'm in love with the website, and I think it's beautiful.

The customer service team that we work with is amazing. I just adore our account manager, actually, I adore everybody that's on our team right now. I had a conversation with them last week. I'm like, do not take my people away. I love these people. I don't want them off my account.

How did GLIDE® perform from a project management standpoint?

The team has been incredible. We've been on very specific timelines, and the team has met all of them. We had one slight delay, but it wasn't their fault. The team has been quite flexible and accommodating.

We use Figma for the design process, which is really cool and my first experience using it. It is great being able to go in and leave design notes right on the template web pages, and use another tool for project management. We've migrated to Asana after the project. We've had weekly meetings via Zoom and communicated with our project manager via the project management tool and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When we evaluated them against other providers, everything looked like it was built on a template. In contrast, everything they showed us was a unique painting. There was nothing cookie-cutter about them, which we loved.

We feel comfortable working with GLIDE®. The team feels like part of our team, and they care about us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing I can think of. The team is flexible and open to feedback.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be transparent upfront about what you want. Think about your tech stack, what you need to integrate with, and the design you want. Make a list of the content you want to migrate. Giving that information to GLIDE® allows them to create something customized and unique for your business.

The whole process of the project management was incredible. They created an timeline asked if we have anything that would hinder the timeline before we started. Every step was completed on time and we had meetings to check in and go over design and content. The responded to all emails within 24 hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The start to finish process was amazing! They created the timeline, stuck to it and we were live when they expected us to be. All meetings were professional, and they were prepared at each meeting with what was planned to be discussed that day. Each person we worked with had a role and if we had a question outside of that role then they would ask the person who could help us with our need. Our whole experience was impressive with Glide from start to finish.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new website that Travis and his team at Glide Design built for us in 2007 has been a major part of our business success over the years. I’m convinced that, along with a lot of hard work on our end, our executive search firm was ranked #10 in the world by Forbes in 2017. At our peak, we were logging over 2000 unique visitors a day, which in the niche world of retained “Executive Recruiting” was was pretty impressive. 
The professional look, feel, and user-friendly functionality of the site made quite a positive impression on clients and candidates alike. The mobile experience of our visitors has likewise been seemless and user-friendly. And then their technical support over the years was stellar and prompt.

A crucial aspect of boosting conversion rates is to simplify and guide the user experience. When presented with too many choices, individuals often struggle to make decisions, known as the paradox of choice. Our objective is consistently to divide the decision-making journey into manageable steps. On the Mandt site, we initially present two primary options (in-person or e-learning), then delve one layer deeper, keeping the process straightforward and concise.

What I found to be impressive and unique about GLIDE® was their culture and how they cared about their work and took pride in it. The CEO of this company is a very driven individual who seeks excellence and goes to every extent to make sure his clients are satisfied.

I always like to say, you cant grow if you do not improve, so the answer is always yes. For me I wish they would have communicated a little better as far as what the mission really is, rather than kind of following a blueprint. But as I said there are always bumps in the road and GLIDE was quick to address these things.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The 6-8 month project was to design and develop a replacement for our previous Wix website. We worked with the Glide design team for the first few months of the project to finalize designs and content for 8+ pages and a new single package listing design. 
Our industry requires excellent and appealing design that highlights many large photos and Glide did a great job. The website features hundreds of travel experiences across 15+ categories with considerable filter options. The user experience is intuitive and easy to navigate. All feedback on the design and functionality have been very positive!

We were in contact with 2-3 people at Glide in any given month. They were very responsive to design change requests, post-project bug fixes, and deliverables dates. We had valuable project planning and design meetings via Zoom. We enjoyed the experience!

We could have used a little more time between finishing development and launch. The window that was planned for was very short. The development team was very responsive and easy to work with but we have some minor issues that needed more time to address. Everything was handled and launched successfully!

Glide helped us migrate 10 sites from multiple platforms and themes (drupal, wordpress, custom) to a shared custom theme installed on WP Engine, with all assets owned and administered by us. This process took roughly a year due to stakeholder management on our end. After successful and smooth launch, we have continued to work with them to develop new functionality on the shared theme and help us troubleshoot any issues.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since 2020, our page views and screen views have increased 80%and our users completed goals on the site 1.4M times last year. Our websites remain one of the key pillars of our communication strategy--email marketing, social media marketing, video marketing all point back to our sites where good design ensures that we value digital hospitality as much as we value hospitality in person.

Communication is clear, quick, and reliable. I know that any ticket I open will begin within 24 hours of submission--often much quicker. If I flag a ticket as urgent, we can expect the problem to be resolved within the hour.

Glide has a unique ability to remain lean in its operating structure--passing the savings along to their customers--while still maintaining a strong culture and reliable, quality services. GLIDE® is dedicated to giving back to important needs in the world--and they even guided us through our certification with 1% for the Planet as a way of living out that organizational value in their company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something GLIDE® could have done differently?

We've been using the same wordpress theme for nearly a decade. It still looks good, and it still works reliably. I'm not sure what more we could expect. Continuous improvement has worked well for us.
