Their focus was always on ensuring we were happy with the results, which was refreshing. Their responsiveness was exceptional—every query was addressed quickly and thoroughly.

What truly stood out was their ability to complete all our deliverables within a tight budget, something no other company even came close to achieving. Despite working with multiple opinions and personalities within our team, they skillfully helped us streamline our vision and bring it to life. Brand Vision redesigned and redeveloped our website, improving the UX and navigation. They helped us design color palettes, textures, and tones more in keeping with our brand. They also rebranded our logo to make it a little more modern. Additionally, Brand Vision also created our media kit. We initially went to see them in person and presented our products and business plan to their team. We gave them a full explanation of what our company is all about, our mission-driven focus, and or technology.

I found them on Clutch. We interviewed several companies and decided to go with Brand Vision based on their professionalism, straightforwardness, and reviews on many sites. They seemed like a better fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–September 2024. However, we'll do some ongoing work with Brand Vision.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They exceeded our expectations and did a great job. We’re getting a better conversion rate, and we’ll continue to work with them. Although we still need to work on technical SEO and other aspects internally, our company has managed to hit $1 million CAD in sales without any spending on marketing or advertising. 

How did Brand Vision perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered the project on time and within budget. They communicated extremely well with us. We used Asana, Zoom, phone calls, and emails. Additionally, we used their development software and used Google Drive for many of the projects.

Kudos to Kajal; she was amazing to deal with. She understood what we wanted and translated that into the work, exceeding our expectations. Mariia was also great — she was magic.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brand Vision designed and developed our website from scratch using Figma and Webflow. We had a base design and logo the team used, and we conceptualized the site's design together. We provided the team with an outline that another web developer had put together and examples of websites I liked in terms of animation and style, as well as some of our competitors' sites. From there, Brand Vision gave us a couple of design options, and we worked from there to build it out.

What is the team composition?

I worked with four teammates from Brand Vision, including designers and developers. I was mostly in contact with two team leads.

How did you come to work with Brand Vision?

We found Brand Vision through a Google search and Clutch. We selected the team after reading their website and case studies. I met with a Brand Vision teammate who gave me an outline of the project's cost and scope. We discussed back and forth to answer my questions and then confirmed our engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Brand Vision from January–July 2024. Brand Vision has launched our site and continues to provide ongoing support.

Brand Vision successfully launched our website, and we had a successful engagement. Although the site was recently launched, we already received positive feedback, significant engagement, and excellent brand awareness overall. Brand Vision's work met our expectations.

How did Brand Vision perform from a project management standpoint?

The project was delayed due to us. Brand Vision was quick and responsive and could launch the site earlier. The project scope was a 12-week plan, but we had delays on our end. Brand Vision met our budget and communicated well via phone calls, emails, Zoom, and text messages towards the end of the project. We collaborated through Asana and Figma for project management.

I worked closely with Kajal (Project Manager), who was amazing. Her response time was incredible. She was helpful with anything I needed and guided me through the entire process.

Brand Vision Marketing will create the new website using the WebFlow/WordPress platform. The proposed website will be responsive, modern, engaging, and user-friendly, designed to maintain consistent branding as well as effortless navigation and management. It will feature visually appealing elements to deliver an inviting and immersive user experience. The new website will have 6 custom page designs and 8 subpages. It will be designed and developed to display all aspects of the website and services. 
Brand Vision's UX/UI designers will create the most optimal user experience and interface for the best client engagement. To add additional pages to the scope of the project, the fee will be $1,900 CAD per custom page. Brand Vision will integrate Google Analytics into the new site to enhance tracking and provide insights into visitor behaviour/performance. Engagement features for major social media platforms will be incorporated for seamless client interaction. 
Brand Vision will integrate a translation plugin for bilingual functionality on the website (English and French). Brand Vision will provide support in copywriting for the website by completing the technical on-page SEO set-up of the website. Brand Vision will prioritize swift loading times through image optimization and efficient caching methods, enhancing both user experience, bounce rate and SEO performance. Brand Vision will recommend the ideal CMS for this website and make hosting suggestions if needed. 
The website will be optimized for every screen size and ratio and there will be a separate mobile design. Testing and quality assurance are included with all Brand Vision projects. The new site's design must consider the content that will appear on the site to ensure its usefulness and readability. Brand Vision will offer training post-website launch to support the staff in managing day-to-day aspects of the site. The utmost importance will be placed on ensuring the security of the website.
 All photos/graphics must be supplied by the client, or stock photos or videos without copyright protection can be used. If extra graphics are needed, a new proposal will be sent based on the scope of work. The client will be responsible for the third-party subscription costs.

We came to the group with our branding and some rough creative. We requested help from the team to review and enhance the creative we had put together for each page. We requested help to integrate a 3rd party booking platform in to our website for our customers to be able to both book games, and purchase items such as t shirts, gift cards, etc.

Lastly, we requested that the team build the website to be responsive across a majority of devices and include some fun lightweight animations. This all needed to be done on a platform that was easy to use and update by our team once the website was handed over.

When phone calls were needed, they were concise. We had several weekly meetings in the beginning of the project to make sure the design was agreed upon by all parties before production started. All deadlines were met.

Brand Vision supported our organization with the design and development of a new website, which included a branding refresh of our company colours, fonts and graphics. As an affiliate of an international organization, we had limitations of what we could change within our branding.

Brand Vision was tasked with elevating the branding of our parent organization and establishing a unique look-and-feel for our local affiliate. From there, they were tasked with redesigning and building our website which included:

• discovery research of other affiliate's sites, other local non-profits, and similar organizations
• helping us restructure the layout and designing the wireframe / site-map
• designing pages that spoke to each of our key stakeholder groups - develop prototypes of each page, including all elements and imagery

In working with Brand Vision, we successfully built and launched a new website that showcased fresh branding while still staying true to our parent organization's look-and-feel. Through this project, we were able to:

• restructure the layout of our site and how information was presented

Working with Brand Vision was an outstanding experience. The team was very hands on and willing to make the edits and changes we requested to the initial design. All items were delivered on time and they followed up as needed when we had outstanding deliverables or approvals. Throughout the process, Brand Vision was very patient with us, adjusting the project's timeline as needed so we never felt rushed.

The team was extremely flexible and accommodating throughout, maintaining constant communication through email and phone check-ins. Issues were brought to our attention immediately so they could be resolved in a timely manor. Brand Vision was with us every step of the way to ensure our needs were being met and that we were satisfied. They made us feel like we were their top priority and that they were ready and willing to support with whatever we needed.

Brand Vision's excitement for our project made them an amazing organization to work with. We always felt like our project mattered and that they cared about it as much as we did. Their team was available whenever we needed them and kept in constant communication with us throughout. Their dedication to us and our needs was outstanding and really elevated our experience working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Brand Vision could have done differently?

Our organization works best when using a work-back plan or task management system to track deliverable due dates. Because the DFS Toronto team is small and we had conflicting projects happening at the same time, we could have benefitted from a detailed task schedule to ensure we did not fall behind on providing Brand Vision with the content or information they required to continue their work.

My only feedback for Brand Vision would be to use a project / task management tool to build out a work-back plan with clear due dates for the companies they work with. This would ensure projects stay on track and limited delays occur. I would also suggest scheduling check-ins throughout the project to make adjustments to the scope or timeline as needed.
