We communicated exclusively through Skype and they were always available. We had direct access to both project managers and their background team. UPQODE smoothed communication of technical jargon which could have been easily been lost in translation if there was only one middleman.

Project management was great. We used Slack, Confluence, and another tool where we put color-coded post-it’s on the whole flow of the processes. We never met physically due to COVID-19 but we did have weekly video calls for 1–2 months. Before and afterward, we had a call every 2–4 weeks whenever there was something to discuss. The project manager is great. He’s a fantastic resource and should get a lot of honor for the achievements we’ve made. He’s very responsive, dedicated, and committed, as well as skilled at engaging our team.

We feel that they want to help us avoid mistakes, even if we pay them for it. I'm pretty sure that, if we ask for something that they think isn't good for us, they will possibly refuse the project. I think that's something I haven't seen with other agencies. I'm currently handling more than 70 websites, and I've never had a mistake or a glitch. I can't think of any greater success story than that from how I operate, given the volume I have. They are just truthful, honest hard workers. They don't have to do things 90 times with 70 phone calls. For me, Skyhook Interactive is all about trust and reliability. There's no need for micromanagement. Their turnaround time is my favorite thing in the whole world.
