Despite coming to Digital Butlers initially to request adjustments to our website, additional issues arose during the collaboration, further emphasizing our need for collaboration with DB. Based on the issues identified, we are providing a comprehensive description of our scope:

1. Website layout implementation: our primary objective was to translate the provided design into functional web pages. This involved coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the desired visual and interactive elements.

2. Integration of complex 3D elements and animations: a significant aspect of the project was incorporating intricate 3D elements and animations into various sections of the website. This required careful implementation to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Overall, their dedication to excellence and their collaborative approach made them a standout partner for our project. DB never said “it can't be done” or “it's impossible”. We always discussed how we could tackle the task, explored various options, proposed solutions, and worked together to implement them. We would express our desires, like, “We want this thing to spin and make noise in 3D here” 😀, and leave it to us to figure out, and we did.

They were highly adaptive, incorporating feedback swiftly and making necessary adjustments to the designs, which helped us achieve our project goals within the estimated budget and timeline.

First of all, we wanted to enhance the CYLIND website and its visual appeal. Our old website was built on Wix and was pretty limited in terms of design features and content management.  We already had a new version of the website UI that the previous designer did. But some sections didn't fit our vision, and we expected Digital Butlers to help us finish them.

By injecting vibrant visuals, sleek interfaces, and interactive elements, we wanted to create a unique image where visitors would be captivated from the moment they landed on the site, crafting such a perfect experience of architectural innovation.

Secondly, we needed some help with the UX / logic. We wanted to make our site clear and clean for our target audience. As a result, it should cause the growth of our CTR and make more leads transform into real clients. 

Finally, the updated design should be built on Webflow with the usage of nice-looking 3D & animations. It should have the ability to upload projects, edit descriptions, and replace images through the CMS. And load fast.

The measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress and success include the successful launch of the brand-new CYLIND website with its improved visual appeal and completely different but cool user experience. DB introduced numerous captivating animations and diverse grid layouts. Already at the stage of testing our website as users, we were able to engage with our content effectively, experiencing something entirely new. We had a wow effect! 

Additionally, the website is full of functionalities that allow us to manage all content independently, finally giving us control over our content and enabling our CYLIND team to post what we need. DB provided us with clear and detailed instructions on how to use the CMS, contributing to a comfortable and efficient working environment. 
This collaborative approach has ultimately led to successful outcomes, marking a refreshing departure from our previous encounters and solidifying our partnership.

Overall, their project management approach was characterized by flexibility and responsiveness. While there were occasional delays due to the iterative nature of the project, Digital Butlers demonstrated an understanding of the need for refinement and iteration. Despite the additional work required to accommodate these changes, guys prioritized meeting the employer’s (our) requests, ensuring that the final result aligned with our planned vision. Despite some challenges with timing, their willingness to adapt and incorporate feedback ultimately led to a successful project outcome, and we are happy.

Just one small detail: an opportunity to better control ongoing tasks and updates. Some stuff that we wanted to update we discussed in Telegram, others were mentioned in Figma. Digital Butlers gathered everything in one Google Doc, but it does not look like a perfect solution. It will be cool to have one place where we can put our notes as an employer and the team will work on this, with real-time demonstration of the progress. Maybe use some third-party tool, a kinda of Support platform?

Rebuild and maintain our DcentraLab.com, Hord.fi and ChainPort.io sites using a new style and design materials. All sites should perform well and have some third-party API integrations. Tasks for these projects should be managed separately and implemented quickly.

We searched for an outsourced development department that would be reliable, skilled, and always online. Knowledge of Webflow was critical as well as the opportunity to work with third-party code: CSS, HTML, JS, and PHP.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team is successfully implementing the updates we request every week. They also provided professional input and creative vision on the design during the development process. It helped us to make some changes to the site more accurate and relevant. Digital Butlers assisted us in developing 3D models and integrating them into the HORD website.

Sometimes we needed a Webflow tutorial on how to manage the content using Webflow CMS. Digital Butlers recorded Loom videos and provided us with detailed instructions on how to do the stuff we requested.

We've come to see that the team is truly professional and excels in their work.

The website's internal structure stays tidy, and they're quick to implement new sections and changes. We have used Digital Butlers as an ongoing support team for 4 years already and will be glad to do it in the future.

For project management we created a chat system in Telegram that allows us to clearly manage all income tasks, quickly estimate, and implement updates. I love their positioning. Like "Alfred" to "Batman" philosophy not only sounds unusual but also performs efficiently when we speak about our project. I think that the overall professionalism is something that I can indicate. The team is not only capable of implementing any task that we require but also is flexible in terms of timing when it is critical to us.

I don't think so. Development quality is solid. Webflow functionality knowledge is deep. QA is included. The design skills of the team are also high. From the project management perspective, the Digital Butlers approach is transparent and reliable.

We had some improvements to make during the working process but I don’t remember what they were specifically. During these 4 years, the team grew up strongly, and right now there is nothing we want to change. We needed to create a website for our brand-new app, that just came to the market of the United Kingdom. 

To do it, we purchased the Webflow template on the marketplace and wanted the Digital Butlers team to adjust it for our needs. We requested the following work to be done:

• implementation of the branding (like fonts, colors, style elements, etc.)
• new blocks/ pages creation and adjustment of the existing ones
• webflow Content Management System setup
• third-party APIs connection
• incorporate Lottie animations
• ongoing support

Google Maps customization and integration were also required. We wanted to create a map with multiple vendors locations, connected directly to Webflow CMS.

I really appreciate their honesty. In addition to high web development skills, they are very ecological and loyal. They were able to finish the development 25% faster than originally estimated. And they honestly provided us with a real hourly report. Although they could simply issue an invoice for the initially agreed amount. Taking off my hat.

They are also highly experienced in Webflow projects. Even if the original system functionality isn't capable of providing something they will be able to add it using custom code and third-party integrations.

The requests we made were clarified, estimated, sliced on task, and structured before starting the work. All the tasks that were assigned to Digital Butlers were done on time. And even a little faster. 

We run our conversation via email. In addition, we used Notion for project specs and milestones tracking. Google Meet for calls. They also track time in tmetric.app

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

igital Butlers updated the template step by step. We wanted to launch the MVP version of the site with limited pages first and then add more functionality during the road.

Based on this strategy, they launched the home landing page as phase one. After that About, Blog, Changelog, and Careers pages were added. Required dynamic sections were connected to Webflow CMS collections and fully editable via the platform. The job from the described stage was done on a high-quality level and even 25% faster / cheaper than originally estimated.

After that, we wanted to add a new vendors locations page with the integrated Google Maps API, plus its connection with Webflow CMS. This task was correctly estimated and developed for us in time. In the future, we will use Digital Butlers to maintain the site and add more pages / functionality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital Butlers could have done differently?

The only issue I faced was connected with the script load. There was a moment when their server had some technical issues and our site wasn’t load for 20 minutes. When I wrote them a message in WA it was fixed pretty quickly. After that, we decided to take scripts to our server to avoid such troubles. Digital Butlers migrated for free and updated all the links.

Other than that everything is great as always. They provide five-star service.

In total, the site consisted of approximately 15 unique pages. Additionally, there were already several dozen products listed, along with reviews and a significant number of orders. Our task was to carefully implement these changes without disrupting any existing functionality, particularly ensuring the seamless operation of the e-commerce portion of the site. 

Furthermore, we ask DB to assist us with design and printed materials, including brochures, booklets, and other promotional items. We wanted to have a comprehensive design and development partner, offering full support throughout the implementation of new elements, making the scope of work convenient.

Digital Butlers are the ones who always find a solution in any situation, and we like it. They are the perfect place to address any web-related requests. Initially, we approached them for page design and a new theme. Then they completely recreated it on WordPress and adapted our complex website. They have been constantly updating it for four years now. They also assist us with design and printed materials. 

Whenever we have a web-related request, we immediately turn to Butlers, and it's important for us to have such a reliable partner and contractor who can always solve design/development tasks for us. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the entire project. Despite the complexity of the tasks involved, they remained focused and dedicated to delivering results. We engaged Digital Butlers to design and build a modern website for a tech startup client. We provided a sitemap and branding that should be used as a baseline for the 11-page site and needed to launch in 3.5 weeks. We requested:

• Integrated custom ROI calculator DB's provided multiple design concepts, swiftly and professionally assembled the website on the Webflow platform with full responsiveness and CMS integration, plus developed a custom ROI calculator to enhance functionality.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Digital Butlers completed everything we asked of them including Figma designs for desktop and mobile, Website pages built on Weblflow, clearly integrated and easy to use CMS, and the working calculator. Digital Butlers proved to be our reliable partner in design and development. Not only did they set us up for success with great process, communication, and results—they made us, and our clients look great. 

The success of this project has led to new opportunities for both us and our client. After our successful completion of the first project related to technological startup, we also reached out to them for a second time, with another request from our next client (legal firm).

What makes Digital Butlers stand out is the attention they gave us as a client and their willingness to quickly problem solve to find win-win outcomes. They were honest, straightforward, and diligent.

We have unusually rapid design/development speed requirements. These caused discomfort for Digital Butlers in adapting to our working processes. However, they were willing to dig in and figure things out together. After only a month of collaboration we achieved synchronization, established a smooth workflow, and overcame these initial challenges.

We had an outdated WordPress-based website that required a modern overhaul to stay competitive in the market and secure lucrative contracts. Our goal was to attract more visitors, potential clients, and higher lead generation, providing business with the new web boost. We aimed to achieve this by revamping the site's design and optimizing its functionality, making navigation effortless and aligning it with contemporary design standards. 

The Digital Butlers team should not only create a new interface for us on the web but also work on the user experience logic. We wanted to be sure that the upgraded website would be clear for the user. We also chose to migrate our site from WordPress to Webflow CMS because wanted our website to look professional and easy to control. 

Our property management system called ProfitBase should also be integrated into the site to make it comfortable for our managers to keep the real estate information up-to-date.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw the results of their work when they shared the first design concepts with our team. Our old website was pretty old-fashioned and we definitely understood that the new will would look much better. Following the launch of the redesigned website, there was a noticeable increase in website traffic and user involvement. Our partners and clients mentioned the nice website interactions, clean user-friendly design, and functionality. 

One of the cool things that we really liked about the UX is the sidebar with all available properties. A working solution that helps our users see the list of available objects and open the information page from any place on the site. Plus it is much more comfortable to use the website by our internal department now. We are able to change any element of the site via Webflow CMS / designer. And the connection with ProfitBase works well.

In the beginning, we had all conversations via email. But after the project started we transferred our chat to Telegram. We are still using it for maintenance and other requests. They used the KANBAN methodology to deliver the project by stages and shared hourly-based reports of their work via TMetric. The site was delivered stage by stage: 

• prototype

• frontend 
• CMS connection 
• testing. 

As far as the progress went we saw real results and provided approval on each point.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really cared about our request. When we had our first meeting in our office we described to Alex (DB's Business Relationship Manager) the whole scope of the website that we want to see. The first rough estimation from Alex's side was a little higher than our budget. Then we asked if there was a way how we could fit everything in the desired price. 

After a few days and discussion with the team, Alex got back to us with a solution that fit our resources, and in addition, they helped us with the prototyping for free. It was very kind and professional from their side. Sometimes we ask Digital Butlers to help us with website management and there wasn't a day when they refused. Not every company will provide so much attention to your requests.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital Butlers could have done differently?

I really liked how they did the job. Right now I’m planning a new more ambitious project for a different market / location. It will have more complex functionality and will need more attention on the UX side. And Digital Butlers team is on my potential vendor's list for this. Maybe when we will work on it I will have anything to recommend but not now.

The project started approximately 3.5 years ago and we have spent 350k plus on our project. The initial scope was to design and build a simple bridal platform and it quickly grew into something really big and massive. To date, we are close to 7-8k hours of work and still, there is no end in sight. When we started working, Digital butlers were in their infancy and didn't even know how to price themselves. What grew to be an approx 300k project was projected to be done in a few months for 15k USD. granted, they didnt know how to run a business but they certainly knew how to convince it was possible.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We made huge progress in our long-term goals but the experience of getting there was nothing short of horrific. The team was inconsistent, careless, and simply unprofessional at times. I had members of the team come out and meet me in a wifebeater while laying in bed with pillows all over. they have very poor English abilities and cannot for the life of them copyright even the smallest line of text. 

Their specifications are hard to read even with google translate and their submission, presentation and QA testing is really really bad. all through the 3 years I was the one pointing out EVERY LITTLE PART OF THE BUILD, AT EVER SECTION. Their excuse was, we rather give you what you ask for when instead the work was simply careless. They were also pretty dishonest when it came to billing.

in three years, not a single deadline was ever met on time. The builds are never complete and require a huge amount of resources on top of the QA hours already billed for to fix typos, broken links, bugs, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ability of their management to constantly mislead and cover for their team's irresponsible outcomes. digital butlers do not hold their employees at all accountable for anything they do. EVEN WHEN ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES TO LOG HOURS AT THE TIME OF WORK AND NOT ENTER THEM MANUALLY.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital Butlers could have done differently?

yes, there are a ton of areas of improvement. The biggest one is hiring a team that actually understands and has a working knowledge of the task they claim they can handle. Their staff do not have a business use of the English language at all. Their management style lacks accountability and responsibility. Transparency when it comes to hours logging as well as the ability to deliver on deadlines with actual QA testing that is bug-free. Digital Butles prides themselves on having grown to close to 40 employees but does not product quality beyond a simple website if you don't micro manage them.
