InList Image

InList

Syragon itself is a development studio that conducts only a few projects at a time but with the highest quality possible. We‚Äôve worked on several projects together ‚ÄĒ InList is the most significant one. InList is a high-end platform for booking nightlife, exclusive parties, concerts, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Our task was to complete a rebranding and re-UX of an

…
existing product. We had to create a design that will meet the target audience’s needs and expectations and will suit all of its specifics.

As a result, we designed high-end brand identity, and its implementation in the web version, mobile application, and marketing website. The team is still deploying the digital part of the project.

Blaize Image

Blaize

Initially, our client's company name was InCrypto.

Our task was to create new branding, from a new brand platform, naming and copywriting, and to the visual identity. We wanted to get away from the names consonant with Crypto because this market was highly discredited, but our client had an extremely professional team of the blockchain experts.

Considering that this team

…
can do almost impossible things with the help of blockchain technologies, we moved forward with the Magician archetype. As to the naming, Blaize is consonant with burning. As a visual solution, we chose the dynamic graphics approach that displays the chemical combustion process.

As a result, we designed a unique identity, website, and presentation template for clients; with these tools, our client is now promoting his brand in the outsourcing services market.

Meta Trak Image

Meta Trak

This project was an infrastructure one. Automobile manufacturers cooperate with companies that produce alarms and anti-theft systems to integrate these systems right during the car purchase. Meta Trak ‚ÄĒ our client ‚ÄĒ provides software for this type of cooperation. This application helps car owners track their vehicles using built-in telematics devices.

The first version of the application had

…
already been in place, but initially, there was an intricate design that was rather hard for users to navigate. So, it was our challenge to improve that situation.

Finally, we've managed to develop a much more thoughtful UX approach and create a beautiful UI to top the user experience. Since the project is very large, the system is still under development.

Synergy Specialists Image

Synergy Specialists

Synergy Specialists is a platform that matches dentists and clinics so that clinics can invite dentists for atypical complex procedures for their clients and organize this process.

The goal was to enter the market where everyone is accustomed to the highest level of quality. Accordingly, a high level of design to look as prestigious as possible is necessary. Also, a convenient UX is a

…
must so that clinics can find specialists, organize this process, and conduct appointments and statistics on visits, keep track of internal reviews about specialists, etc.

As a result, we delivered a high-quality brand identity that was used for the product announcement on the corresponding exhibition and helped to impress a potential target audience. Later we created a marketing website, e-commerce website, and designed the matching platform for the organization itself. The platform is still under development, but the identity has already been a big part of a positive impression on the potential target audience and starting to build recognition.

PIX Backpack Image

PIX Backpack

PIX Backpack is the first LED pixelized backpack with a programmable screen.

Our goal was to design a brand identity for the backpack where you can display images, animations, widgets, and play games. Then, we had to implement the created identity into a mobile application with a pixel-by-pixel drawing module. This way, Pix customers can customize their backpacks as they

…
wish.

As a result, we redid the design of the project three times, working on the possible improvements. The final result turned out great, and people are actively using the product. By the way, you can take a look at the app here: https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/pix-backpack/id1363522351

GEO Protocol Image

GEO Protocol

Our client has developed the GEO Pay application to scale the valuable assets exchange technology ‚ÄĒ the GEO Protocol. The main essence of technology is the registry ‚ÄĒ there is a decimal value assigned to each currency.

We had to create a non-trivial visual solution in the field of cryptocurrencies without any mainstream references to networks, graphs, bitcoins, etc. We came up with an

…
interesting option. For each digit, there was a unique visual display ‚ÄĒ a square that is divided by the number of parts corresponding to this digit. Circles represent the nodes (network members). There are always two circles between these digits.

So, using our dynamic graphics approach, our client flew to the USA, and while on the exhibition, kept us updated on lots of praises from other people regarding their new corporate identity.

Ignilife Image

Ignilife

Ignilife is a mobile application that challenges its users to lead a healthier lifestyle and shows an assessment of their health on average by company, age, country, and world.

We had to create a gamified design that will engage the users and encourage them to complete the quests.

So, we delivered the light restyling of the corporate identity and designed the

…
mobile application, its web version, and the marketing website. You can find the mobile application itself here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ignilife/id929115195
Build Up Image

Build Up

Build Up is an application that helps its users to accumulate funds for an additional pension. Basically, it transfers the specific amount of users' funds from their bank cards to a special pension fund automatically on a regular basis.

Our goal was to develop a nice interactive design for this somewhat boring topic to engage the users.

To achieve this goal, we

…
created a metaphor that this application is like a fruit. At first, it is green, but as it gets more water, it ripens. With our design, our client got funding for the further development of the project.
Blu Living Image

Blu Living

Glance Creative is an R&D company from the United Kingdom, and we completed several projects together. Blu Living is the biggest and most epic one. There is a developer who has built quite a few residential quarters in London. It is known that when new residents populate the quarter, they know nothing: neither neighbors, nor where to go, nor the location of the laundry, etc. We had

…
to design an infrastructure that is simple enough for anyone to use.

While working on the project, The Glance team interviewed residents, conducted customer development, found out the pain points, applied the person method, developed a feature list for these people. And according to this list, we created a design for the mobile application that includes lots of useful features: you can find out if your package arrived, send a complaint if there is a leakage in your bathroom, meet the neighbors, organize an event, and so on.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the owner of an online payments accounting integration service.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

Our product was built a long time ago without much thought into usability or design. I wanted to hire an agency that had really good design chops but also knew how to balance pure design aesthetics with usability.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to improve usability and ‚Äúflow‚ÄĚ of the app, along with implementing a few new features that the original design wouldn‚Äôt allow for.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I posted a project and received numerous proposals. Of the proposals, I eliminated any proposal that did not answer the questions I posed in the RFP or whose portfolio was subpar. We narrowed the vendor list down to 3 companies. Of those three, I re-reviewed the proposals and eliminated one more since most of the projects in their portfolio seemed too trendy with recurring design elements across multiple projects in their portfolio.

I wanted an agency who approached each design project from a fresh set of eyes. The main two agencies were both extremely qualified from a skill set perspective. I compared the proposals to a fine level of detail, and chose League Agency since their proposal seemed to spend more time on the areas I felt were important and not as much time on areas that were not as important.

Describe the project in detail.

League provided a designer and a project manager. My primary interface was with the project manager, who was very good at clearly communicating deadlines and overall project status. She was also excellent at managing me as a client, making sure I knew that I had several deliverables and that the project would not be able to move forward without them. She was strong without being pushy, and I really appreciated how she approached our collaboration.

What was the team composition?

1 project manager and 1 designer from League. All designs were reviewed and approved by the art director, with whom I originally engaged during the proposal process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I think League provided exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable cost.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was effective. We used a combination of Slack and Figma to collaborate and share feedback with one another.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Having worked with world class designers in the past, I had high expectations from League. While their design skills were great, they also have really good business processes. It seems like they are incredibly efficient at all the non-critical stuff so they can spend as much time on the critical stuff. I’m really impressed with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None that I can think of. I’m very happy with them as a customer and would not hesitate to reach out to them again.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of a high quality outdoor furniture manufacturer headquartered in Germany and with an own manufacturing compan in Indonesia.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

We hired League Design to do a partial redesign of our partly outdated website and to make it more mobile friendly.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to make the site more visually appealing to potential customers so they would stay longer and convert better.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We have listed a job post on Upwork and received many applications for the job. We decided for League Design since we had the feeling that Mike (founder) understood best what we wanted.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we decided to work to do the project with them the first step for them was to better understand our company and our customers and the ultimate goal of this redesign project. We had a couple of video calls and they send through a questionnaire with tailored questions about our customers and the project.

They came up with a couple of very good concepts and wireframes which surpassed our expectations and which they ultimately turned into a beautiful new site that everybody loves.

What was the team composition?

After discussing the project details with the company founder we were assigned to a project manager who coordinated the project with the designer. We had regular video calls with the manager and the designer to review the current status of the project and decide about the next steps.

The founder (Mike) also took care that we were happy with the results. Customer satisfaction was very important for them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Initially were planning to do the redesign of only 3 individual pages with a 40 hours work budget. We ended up doing the whole website and worked more than 200 hours with them. We are very happy with the outcome. By the time of this review the new website is not online yet. Our developers are still working on the implementation.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project manager handled the project very well and provided us with regular updates about the status. We had video calls once or twice a week. The overall communication was excellent.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have excellent talents working in the background - true artists. They always came up with brilliant ideas and surpassed our expectations. There was not much we needed to change, so the project was very easy and successful for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

During the project we were assigned a new project manager who handled the project very well eventually but at the beginning we felt that we needed to explain everything all over again.

BACKGROUND

My company is a b2b marketplace designed primarily to connect dental specialists with free clinical days to practices that want to bring specialty services in house. I am the director of business development and product development at my company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

Brand guide, UX/UI design for desktop and mobile website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to establish our brand as something unique, thoughtful, progressive, and designed with the intention to convey that we have really thought about the service we are delivering. League really helped us communicate that.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We searched and interviewed dozens of design firms globally. We happened to find League through Upwork.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we selected League Design Agency, we went through a deep dive into brand discovery until we eventually honed in on a brand guide. We then used that guide to inform everything we are working on - convention collateral, stationary, website, and all the details like invoice design, powerpoint template, and more. It really helped us put a professional edge on everything we do.

What was the team composition?

We had a main account manager communicate and guide us all along the way but we could feel that there was an entire team thoughtfully crafting every layer of this experience.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We really enjoyed working with League Design Agency. They have a keen sense for design and were very methodical and diligent in building this process out for us to get to our desired goal. It's always difficult doing custom work but they were not only very process oriented and creative but also very accommodating with edits which was important for us. Our clients are very impressed with our brand design and site.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was very convenient. Even though we were in different time zones League made sure to stay at work a little later to catch me in pacific time zone for regular catch up Skype meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was very impressed with the quality of work we received. League is truly professional but I think we got everything done at a great price.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a UX strategist at a mobile app development company based in the United Kingdom. We specialise in mobile strategy, design, development, and marketing, focusing on psychology and user behavior. I keep the focus on UX throughout product development.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

Our company hired League \ Design Agency to collaborate with us on the UX/UI design of native mobile apps for iOS and Android. Using these apps, residents can simplify communication between themselves and their concierge.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal is a sleek, modern mobile app design that communicates the brand while staying true to the product's essence.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We browsed Behance and Dribbble, found their portfolio, and reached out to them.

Describe the project in detail.

After we finalized the product requirements, we organized a kickoff meeting with League \ Design Agency. We discussed the project, our process, and the various deliverables. They gave us estimates to verify that we were on the same page about the project scope, then began work.

The design phase typically followed our internal process. This entailed wireframe designs for the native apps and a web-based admin portal, a UI concept and kit for the native apps, and a full-screen UI design performed on a sprint-by-sprint basis.

We discussed the revisions, and they provided the deliverables. In general, our team would them feedback, but our development team would often discuss solutions with them, too. It's been a cross-disciplinary, collaborative experience. While we've wrapped up most of the design work, they're still supporting our endeavors.

What was the team composition?

We've worked with two different project managers because of a handover halfway through the project. We communicate with them regularly and give them feedback on design deliverables. They communicate with the designer assigned to the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Most of the design work has wrapped up within the past month, but the project is ongoing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The collaboration has been excellent. Most of our communication takes place over Slack, with occasional video calls to discuss more complex matters. After providing feedback, we see updates in a timely manner. If we have any inquiries, they're usually prompt to respond.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work meets the highest standards of quality, leaving little to be desired. Their designs are beautiful and functional. They met our project goals, and our team and client received them well. Their professionalism, responsive communication, and prompt delivery are consistent.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We've experienced few issues during the project. The issues we have experienced came down to miscommunication, and we've resolved them quickly and collaboratively. There are always areas for improvement, but the process has been smooth and relatively painless.

We didn’t have an app before working with League \ Design, and now we have more than 600 users. The app itself is convenient in how it’s organized, as we desired.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager and designer were extremely open-minded and were always online to listen to our feedback and requests. League \ Design offers a specific scheduling tool that allows both parties to work closely together and share their comments and questions with each other. By paying detailed attention to our questions, League \ Design delivered the exact result we wanted.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

League Design always does their best to provide their clients with even more than was laid out in the initial scope.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything was great, so I have nothing to add.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the creative director of Ignilife, a startup that designs digital health prevention solutions. Our objective is to fight chronic diseases and epidemics with gamified experiences that encourage behavioral changes in patients.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

Initially, we needed an agency to help us manage the UX/UI of the newest version of Ignilife.

What were your goals for these project?

I was looking for a trustworthy partner that shared my same standards in terms of quality.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I was looking for a team that I could see myself starting a long-term partnership with. I considered a lot of options, and after a few interactions, ultimately settled on League \ Design Agency.

Describe the project in detail.

League \ Design Agency built the UI/UX for our health coaching app. The gamified system uses algorithms to establish the user's health profile and recommend relevant information and programs to improve their well-being. The app mainly evaluates general health, nutritional habits, emotional health, and physical activity.

After completing the design work, the team moved onto brand strategy. We're currently collaborating on marketing and sales tools to help promote the application.

What was the team composition?

We worked with some of their young engineers, some specializing in the medical industry.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're in the deployment phase, so it's a bit early to talk about strictly quantitative fiWiths. WIth that being said, we've experienced improvements in user engagement, retention rates, and inquiries via our commercial pipeline.

As a startup, the partnership League \ Design Agency was extremely valuable. Rather than hiring my own in-house team, I can work hand-in-hand with a team of design experts.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We work as simply as possible‚ÄĒdiscuss specifications, agree on a schedule, and determine milestones. We speak several times a day and share information via communication channels. They take the time to understand our requirements; it's key to their success. Despite the physical distance between us, I still feel like we're working side by side.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're strong listeners with a lot of knowledge, which allows them to go beyond my requests and deliver great work. Autonomously proactive, they consistently work quickly and efficiently.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There's always room for improvement. League \ Design Agency could expand their design services, but otherwise, I'm delighted with the current state of our collaboration.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the senior global product manager at Quazar LLC, an electronic security system support company. We collect data from Meta System S.p.A devices (vehicle tracking technology) from around the world and work with businesses to offer software solutions such as mobile and web apps and APIs.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

We needed to add new requirements and functionalities‚ÄĒfor both teams and clients‚ÄĒto an existing app, as well as upgrade its design with a new UI kit and style guide. We were also building a new app was based on the design of our existing web app, which is a commercial off-the-shelf solution.

What were your goals for this project?

Our plan for 2018 was to transform our solutions into products and to add new ones as well. We wanted to update one of our apps, which helps lot owners find vehicles with live tracking, to have the same interface as our web app. We also wanted to build a new mobile app for user security that helps people locate their vehicles and protect them against theft.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We put out a tender to 10 well-known Russian companies but chose League\Design because of their readiness to consider our legal, timeline, and cost interests. Every company offered time and materials procedure but they helped us fix down the cost of the UX, in terms of how many hours we needed.

Describe the project in detail.

The first step was to prepare our budget as we’d already discussed it deeply in the tender process and had provided them with the necessary documents to analyze. They created a new design and new features for our existing app including security, safety, and smart driving capabilities. This allows users to always be connected with their cars. In the end, they delivered the UX, UI kit icons, and style guidelines for both apps.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a manager, a designer, and a graphic designer, who helped with the icons.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team showed incredibly professional skills in analytics, creativity, contract management, and time and budget control. We continued the initial cooperation and are now working on a web project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The League\Design team was deeply involved in each step with weekly Skype calls, chat's, file sharing, and delivery. We received much more than we expected and found passion, responsibility, new ideas, and friendship.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had no clue how to proceed with an outsourcing project concerning our main product, so we relied on League\Design’s professional team. They implemented changes with incredible speed, which was amazing, considering all the management support we needed. Their process efficiency was also great.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should propose more options at each step, such as best practices.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm product manger of an educational holding that teaches English in the B2B sector. We operate two English-language schools and a knowledge sharing service for teachers.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?

One year ago we decided to take our outdated educational business into the next phase of its evolution. We wanted to use existing offline and online tools to improve student results. Our existing ERP had an extremely poor UI/UX.

What were your goals for this project?

Our first goal was improving our ERP's UI/UX. We wanted a 75% reduction in manager error and a 50% reduction in the time needed for new administrators to learn all the tools. We also needed to develop our new online educational product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

My friend, who's a web developer, knew and recommended them.

Describe the project in detail.

In initial meetings, we discovered our needs, goals, and main path. Then they created mock-ups. Through demo meetings and feedback, we revise those concepts. They later created animations, which we also revise in demo meetings.

What was the team composition?

We work with four main people. Our project manager contols the workflow and communication. We have two main designers, one for the ERP and one for the new product. Our art director helps us reach the genius level.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The seasons highly impact our market. Summer and winter are historically poor for educational businesses. This summer, we have doubled last year's indicators. That's mostly because of their great, timely work.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They meticulously schedule communication so we can understand their workflow. However, we can always can talk to the project manager. There's never a problem making changes on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'm impressed by the high quality of the designs. Their designers are involved in our business and its processes. They truly love what they do, and we're happy to work with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should grow the team to work with a wider range of customers.
