I am a manager in a multinational accounting company. We help our clients throughout the whole business life cycle (establishment, accounting, payroll, legal or tax advise).

We have hired TenPixls to create from scratch a website for our company. We wanted to change the web platform to Wordpress (efficiency of development and maintenance), update design (to align with our Brand Manual and modern trends), improve UX (to increase conversions), to improve SEO (by writing clean code and cooperation with our SEO partner). Ultimate goal to attract new clients and increase conversion of existing leads.

We have searched a partner in Estonia, where HQ office of our company is located, but could not find any partner that would meet our criteria (we even tried to develop the site with one promising local company, but did not work out). So we started searching in countries where our offices are located and found TenPixls in Ukraine. The deciding factors were actually just a few: full scope service (from design to live site), quality of work (references), client oriented mentality.

We started with a kick off call, where we provided the partner with our objectives and vision of the project. We have then agreed on creating wireframes of our future website (multiple rounds of internal review and external review).

After that we have decided to move forward with this partner for the full site development. We have discussed and filled in a questionnaire on design and Brand. Then the designed wireframes were delivered to us and after multiple reviews from our side we proceeded to the development. Once the site was developed the partner has passed over the site and its management.

After the development we had multiple additional issues to be done (e.g. legal disclaimer, edits based on SEO partner recommendations, transfer of content from previous website (articles database).Finally, the step we are at now is full support in publishing the new website.

Mainly we communicated and worked with the Project Manger. I could see designer, web developer involved in some occasions. To my impression at least 5 people have worked on our project.

We are still in process of launching the site (as we are developing the content for the new site, not related to this partner). But in terms of the UX, design and technical requirements set at the beginning all of the objectives have been achieved on a very high level!

Project management was on a very high level. The process is well organised, very good communication (in English), this has been a very easy and pleasant ride overall. They have also "over delivered" on each step of the way, delivering more than what was promised without any extra charge. They also did very well considering that communication from our side was not always very fast and smooth. They have been able to adjust to our pace of work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have delivered the project despite the war breaking out in their company. They have been in touch with us within the month of war and assured that the work will be delivered and they did!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would be great if they had some tool/ software for project management. That we could have all our communications more structured and materials in one place. (even something like Teams channel could work very well).

I am the Founder of 90s Toys, a media publisher focused on producing nostalgic content for millennials. My background is in Search Engine Optimisation and bring a lot of that thinking to the project.

With the success of our Instagram channel, we were looking for avenues to expand our reach. Having secured the domain for 90stoys.com - it was a no brainer to invest in our own site and space on the web.

After a detailed scoping session, TenPixls were able to sift through my ideas and come back with a goal orientated proposal that would fit my budget and get the project off the ground. The designs and content for the site were at various states of completion, but TenPixls were able to work around this easily and patiently.

The agency updated me weekly on progress and set up a staging site so I could audit and assess the site as it was being built. Any issues were solved as we went along, which meant by completion, there was little we had to fix up.

We worked with several team members including a project manager, front-end and back-end developers, UX and analytic experts.

The main KPIs for this project were focused on technical optimisation for SEO (Core Web Vitals - performance, CLS etc). The technical scores that were achieved are industry leading, with most pages receiving scores of 100/100 across technical categories (using Google tool web.dev).

Real world page speeds are very impressive and significantly better than most established sites with much higher budgets. Although still early days, results are looking very promising with multiple pages featured for keywords on page 1 of Google's search results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was great to work with and we developed very effective communication throughout the project. Turnaround on implementations was very fast and my many questions throughout were answered with expertise and recommendations.

As an SEO expert, there were many important aspects I needed to convey for implementation. Everything I put forward was understood and executed well.

After publishing the first version of the website, we had around four hundred comments and emails from users within 2 months. This helped us to understand the users' needs, concerns, and profile.

We communicated with the project manager who organize and passed our request and concerns to the rest of the team. Most of the time we used emails, but the PM was accessible through other channels like WhatsApp or iMessage if we were in a hurry.

They gave us confidence from the beginning until the end of the project. They behave professionally, with honesty and respect and shown a strong willing to deliver an exceptional quality product. Nothing special comes to my mind. They managed the project well. Minor bugs appeared and were fixed as part of the normal life cycle of any project.

There were many deciding factors, however, the top three are as follows: cost, efficiency, and communication. Prior to starting the project, TenPixls and us had a lot of discussions about the expectations of the project and its associated cost. We managed to come into an agreement for a cost level that works perfectly for us. Not only that, before starting the major project, we also had mini projects (e.g. wireframes, etc.) with TenPixls. Every single week, the person in charge of our account, will send us a weekly update on the progress of the project. The key deliverables were to create a platform that would help us with a new form of retail distribution. The tech stack: Laravel.

I understood that there were a team of people that was working on this particular project. However, my only point of contact was Yurii, he is the senior account manager at TenPixls. The communication flow with Yurii was amazing. Despite being in different time zones, we managed to communicate effectively via emails and Zoom calls. And all of our request and expectations were met with efficiency.

We have not launched our website, however, our entire management team were really impressed with the how the website turned out.

I would say that their project management style is efficient. We will get weekly updates to track the progress of the project. Any minor notes will be communicated via emails, and any major discussions will be held via Zoom. Effective, fast, and well organised.

The ability to communicate with us. The idea for the platform is complex, but communicating it to them is effortless. They managed to conceptualise it very quickly and started development right away.

None that I can think of. I am really impressed with all areas.

The changes we wanted to make were taken very seriously. We then follow the standarized steps to further initiate and complete the project.

The most impressive things were their wordpress work and their abilty to increase website loading speed. We received even more autonomity of managing the website than whe had initially hoped for.

The programming that was made was explained in videos, so that we could easily understand how to use the created features, and always rewatch them when needed.

At first the company seemed a bit intransparent, but after working with them on the project that feeling has gone away.

TenPixls doesn't just build websites. This team is web experts, marketers, sales and business professionals. They do thorough research on your industry and competitors and offer you solutions to be successful. Every piece of your website is purposefully designed to build trust and convert into sales.

This was one of the best experiences I have had working with a development team. I would not change a thing and cannot imagine how they could be any better!

We've been hired to do a single product page for our client. They've been so impressed, they contracted us with the whole re-design of their website. As our capacities are very limited, we've hired Tenpixls to work on the Gutenberg-Blocks and frontend for us.

After providing all requested information and additional information, such as a styleguide, code-example, prototype and screenshots to explain specific requests, the team of Tenpixls started creating the requested project. While we where in communication with our client, Tenpixls always responded very fast and with the highest standard, giving us updates about the project.

I am not sure. We put our fullest trust into the management ability of their project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

With Tenpixls at our side, we could secure this job even though we already had a busy schedule. Their highly professional contacter was very efficent and kept us informed all the time. This way we could work on our other projects without a headache.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We only seeked contact to their contacter/project manager. We've emailed and used Hangouts/Meets to communicate. Based on the trade restrictions between the EU/US and Russia/Ukraine, our transaction was held for sanctions review for a few days by the USA (Ofac). Tenpixls was very friendly and understandable about this situation. Their english, verbally and in the emails was always very good to understand.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We where highly impressed by their overall professionality. From the structuring of the project over the communication, speed and costs. Especially the reachability of their contacter was incredible.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We've messaged Tenpixls after christmas, not knowing, the ukrainian christmas is on a different date than the average christmas. I still feel sorry for interrupting their festives, but yet they answered our email anyway. Maybe a little info about having holidays would have been nice, afterall we are all just humans that need some days off once in a while.
