The project management from the beginning was pretty great. The project manager was always in touch with us and we always knew what was going on at any given week. We always knew what particular issues or outstanding items were their responsibility or our responsibility in order to stay on track. Throughout the process, they needed a lot of information from us, and not just information but also access and content. They helped us out with a lot of photography and abstract stock imagery that we use on the website, but they obviously needed a lot of assets from us from a product imagery standpoint, both vendor imagery as well as professional photography which we invest heavily in. Often we had difficulty keeping up with providing them with what they needed in order to keep to the schedule.

Both have been wonderful to work with -- and have been very professional and understanding as it's often me who slows our projects down. Kelly was the PM I worked with recently and she was excellent at setting goals for ongoing projects and was VERY responsive whenever issues cropped up. I've just begun working with Shane but he's just as great at communicating and organizing as Krista and Kelly.

Elements included negotiating the schedule of a busy NHL starter, finding a suitable filming location that worked geographically, and navigating the demands and requirements of not only the NHL but its union, the NHLPA. Additionally, the timeline was rushed, with no more than three weeks from kick-off to final cut. But 4040 hit every mark. Goals shifted, complications arose, and the clock never stopped ticking, but they were nimble, responsive to our needs, concerns and feedback, and cool under pressure.

They’re super good at communication. We collaborate through Discord. We have lots of tabs, and everyone’s on them so that we can communicate easily. We also have video calls and meetings each week. Whenever I’ve reached out with a question or concern, the team has responded quickly and very openly. In the very rare times Dream Foundry Games has made a mistake, they’ve looked into it and fixed it right away. Additionally, all the employees in the company are treated really well. I like the owner, and the employees are compensated fairly. They’re happy to work there and seem to love working for the CEO. The team is very open, honest, and willing to work with me in different ways. Even if I say something didn’t turn out the way I wanted or I want something changed, Dream Foundry Games still tries their best to work with me. I appreciate their flexibility and dedication.
