Big Fish was hired to take our automated construction management idea and turn it into a working product on all devices such as phones, tablets, and computers. There are often dozens and dozens of tradesman, subcontractors, and managers per construction project. Big Fish designed and delivered a product that uses keyword inputs to instantly predict which specific construction individuals shall recieve communication for the purpose of enhancing construction schedules and repairs. Big Fish combines QR code technology and forms to deliver real time communication across multiple platforms such as SMS messaging, email, and viewable reports within the App.  The App has database, Admin, UI, Login, and user creation as well as additional security features. All of this was coded by Big Fish. Design, Prototype, final product, and testing all performed by Big Fish.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Scope of work was completed on time and within budget. Contracted deliverable functioned the way we required it to.

Deliverables were always on time. Questions were promptly responded to during the entire planning and building phase. Testing was performed at each stage of the build. Any issues that occured were quickly resolved.

I was very impressed with how well organized Big Fish is as a company. They have a detailed step by step approach when building an App. This gives the customer peace of mind and allows you to stay on the same page as your developer during the whole process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Big Fish could have done differently?

Honestly, Big Fish really covers every angle during the whole App development process.

I am the CIO of Gulfside Healthcare Services, Inc. We have limited software development capacity and needed a partner to develop our first mobile application - with limited budget.

For what projects/services did your company hire Big Fish, and what were your goals?

We wanted to advance our digital strategy by developing a mobile application that extends our presence and compliments our web portal capabilities. This project had limited budget as it represented our first step into mobile connection with our patients and partners. There will be significant enhancements to come, but we needed a baseline.

We met with 3 vendor solution providers and Big Fish was selected because of the quality of their prototype, their cost / value proposition and their flexibility to meet our technical expectations.

Sara was our main point of contact throughout the process. She communicated very effectively and we found Big Fish to be 'easy to do business with'.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The application was delivered on schedule and on budget - we're very pleased with the results and were able to work through one change request without issue.

Most of our correspondence was through email, the project was a fixed-bid arrangement and we had one billable change request that was identified during our testing phase.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were nimble and efficient with communication. I am pleased with their project correspondence — the tasks were clearly defined, and they delivered on their promise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that I can think of; this was a great experience.
