LOGO AUGMENTATION FOR 75TH ANNIVERSARY:
4.1.1. Design Workshop. An Agency-facilitated workshop that explores the following:
● SBUs. What design considerations need to be made when designing
for The Client's various divisions and business units?
● Goals. What is The Client trying to communicate through its
anniversary logo?
● Design Constraints. What are the design constraints we're working
within?
● Inspiration. The Agency to present inspiration examples to prompt
conversation around the following:
● What are the pros and cons of each design? For each example, how do
the elements

4.1.2. Logo Design. Finalized logo may consist of an icon or a wordmark and/or

4.2. VIDEO FOR 75TH ANNIVERSARY:
4.2.1. PRE-PRODUCTION.
4.2.1.1. Third Party Footage Cataloging. Reviewing and leveraging the
client's third-party footage.
4.2.1.2. Storyfinding. Lead creative strategists review existing content and
then work with The Client to develop the story idea.
4.2.1.3. Storyboarding + Shot List Creation. Creative Director, Art Director
and Lead Content Producer will draft the storyboard based on the
concept direction. A shot list will be created from this story board
and become the roadmap for the video.
*Storyboard / shot list / interview questions must be signed-off before
beginning the next phase.
4.2.1.4. Scriptwriting. The Agency’s copywriters will create a script to be
read by the selected VO artist. Estimate includes (but is not limited to) up-to 3 rounds of revisions.
*Additional revisions can be requested at The Agency’s hourly rate.
4.2.1.5. VO Sourcing + Talent Management. Sourcing of the video’s
voice-over (VO) artist. Estimate accounts for between 3-5 artist
options (low-3, high-5)

4.2.1.6. Interview Preparation. Reviewing and leveraging the client's
third-party footage.

4.2.3. POST PRODUCTION
4.2.3.1. Assembly Cut. Footage + asset organization, synchronization,
labeling and timeline assembly.
4.2.3.2. Rough Cut. Narrative direction and assembly based on recorded
and curated content.
4.2.3.3. Music Selection. The Agency will review music options and provide
recommendations based on the direction set out in the storyboard
planning. Music selection must be signed-off before beginning the
next phase.
4.2.3.4. Audio Editing + Design. Includes audio editing, mixing and
processing of captured audio, SFX and music.

4.2.3.5. Fine Cut. Polishing the rough cut with pacing, b-roll, music and
sound design. Primary deliverable will be 2 minutes.
4.2.3.6. Colour Correction, Matching + Grading. The Agency to colour
correct images, match colours between clips and create an
overarching look for the video.
4.2.3.7. Revisions. Up to 3 rounds of revisions included in scope. Additional
revisions may be requested at The Agency's hourly rate.
*Final cut must be signed-off before beginning the next phase.
4.2.3.8. Alternate Edits. The Agency to create alternate edits from the full
video for social media including a 1 min and 30 sec version.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The logo that was created and the video that was produced were both very well received by our internal and external audiences. We used the special anniversary logo throughout 2023. The video was debuted at our 75th anniversary event to all of our clients and stakeholders and was also very well received. We've used these videos for a few years.

The team was very receptive to the fact that we're a complicated business and have numerous business lines and stakeholders to work with. That meant many rounds of feedback (sometimes slightly contradictory) and the team was great at handling the requests, finding ways to compromise what was needed and working to deliver on a tight timeline.

I think the attention to detail the team displayed was really important. We're a team that can nitpick the smallest detail and they were always on top of those little things.

Takt began with in-depth brand research and competitive analysis to help define our positioning and identify future opportunities. Through a series of collaborative workshops, we explored brand direction and potential design concepts. This phase resulted in two key deliverables: a Brand Equity Insights report summarizing findings and recommendations, and a Brand Rollout + Launch Strategy—a tactical roadmap to guide the unified launch of our two brands.

From there, we moved into a focused design and messaging phase, where we refined our brand identities and developed key messaging to support our new direction.

The final phase brought these refreshed identities to life through the development of two new websites, along with the supporting collateral needed to consistently execute across channels and touchpoints.

We started the process with Takt with in-depth brand research and competitive analysis to help us clarify our positioning and uncover opportunities for growth. Through a series of collaborative workshops, we explored everything from website design direction to content strategy and calls-to-action.

By the time we entered the design phase, it felt like we were already aligned. The process became more about refinement—tweaking visuals, messaging, and functionality while considering the technical and UX requirements that would best serve our users. Being based in Vancouver, we had the benefit of conducting our workshops in person, which made the sessions even more engaging, hands-on, and collaborative.

The project wrapped with a full development phase and the launch of a new website that finally feels like a true digital expression of who we are and the clients we’re here to serve.

I'm writing this reveiw now after final delivery of the website. Takt has been great since the hand-off of the new website and has been there for us in terms of education on how everything works, where to find things and quickly fixing the odd bug that has come up.

We had a weekly, in-person meeting cadance with their team. There was a project manager assigned to us who kept everything moving forward, ensured we had all the communication we needed and ensured we were giving Takt all of the assets and content they needed to complete work on their end.

We had a project plan & timeline laid out from the beginning and we actually came in ahead of schedule. Throughout the term, Takt was very responsive - emails were often replied to same-day or else next day.

We had gone through their previous portfolio work and saw some sites in there that we really liked and that showed Takt understood our industry and companies like ours. I think they did a really good job. Our new site development was a big project for us and we're really happy we chose them to work with in terms of the logistics of working with them week-to-week and in terms of the actual deliverables.

Takt began with in-depth stakeholder interviews and competitive analysis to fully capture the unique essence of TKS. This process also involved workshops that dug deeper into our design needs + desires, and identifying which content would be most useful to current and prospective students.

The design phase introduced subtle animations inspired by TKS’s teaching techniques, adding depth and movement to the user experience. Takt also refreshed our original brand colors, making them more balanced and approachable while staying true to our identity. Collaborative wireframing and prototyping ensured every element aligned with our vision before launch.

Their team has also taken us through an in-depth quality assurance experience and testing performance, accessibility, and functionality across all devices. The result is a visually engaging, user-friendly website that authentically represents TKS and its values.

Massive began by leading stakeholder interviews and competitive analysis to better understand WMN and our environment. These steps helped us uncover key content, design, and functionality needs while showing a need for originality amongst our competitors. This discovery gave us the opportunity to build a website that truly stood out.

During the design phase, Massive worked closely with us to develop custom wireframes and presented three unique homepage concepts with fully fleshed-out animations. This collaborative approach ensured that every element, from content to design, was aligned with our vision. Once the design was finalized, we integrated it with the wireframes and created a working prototype for us to experience before we launched it.

On the technical side, they developed a custom audio player module that offered a branded and immersive listening experience, which is something that really lets us stand out against competitors using third-party media players. They then moved into QA testing to ensure the site’s performance, accessibility, and functionality across all devices. The result is a website that engaging, fully accessible website and one we feel really represents who we are.

Massive was an integral part of our repositioning as a creative agency. They provided the project manangement, design and back end support to build us a new web presence which positioniend our work in a dynamic and engaging way. This is something that we couldn't have accomplished on our own. Increased web traffic resulted from launching a more robust site, and the engaging design kept visitors longer than before.

Massive began with an in-depth Research + Discovery process where they learned about our business, customers, industry, operations, and technical requirements. This stage involved interactive workshops, user interviews, competitive discovery, and presentations to discover what style and design we were looking for. 

From there, Massive’s team planned our website’s content and information architecture structure, user needs, and technical plan. These translated to high-fidelity prototypes that later became the backbone for the new website's UI and visual design.

Massive's developers began server-side setup and backend development, integrating custom-built components. From there Massive worked on front-end development alongside HTML, CSS, and Javascript components, on-page SEO implementation and Google tracking installation. Then came testing and quality assurance.

Our goal was to increase security, engagement, and global load speed and also to ensure our message was clear and concise. We have successfully achieved this with their help. We can see this by analyzing clickstream data but have also received tremendous positive feedback through various in-person conversations.

They truly worked with us as partner, providing insight and guidance while being respectful of the input of our team.

They do this through true inclusion of stakeholders and securing real buy-in. That makes the change last and resonate long after the project is complete.
2. True partnership: They don’t just listen; they truly understand and hear you. I was really impressed with their ability to join group meetings and help us articulate our pain points while offering a solution. Massive's UX team planned our new website's content and information architecture around our users' needs. 
These translated to Figma wireframes that later became the backbone for the new website's UI and visual design. Massive's developers began developing the new website on WordPress, integrating custom-built components. Then came testing and quality assurance. Massive did the bulk of this internally before handing us the keys to the staging environment for Client Acceptance Testing. We are looking forward to being able to launch our new website.

The scope of the work entailed a comprehensive rebrand of our corporate identity. We updated our brand positioning within the market place and worked with Massive Media in order to significantly improve or messaging, appeal and branding to appeal to a targeted set of customers. They interviewed clients and prospective clients in order to ensure that we had all the data necessary to improve.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The branding work now sets us apart from our competitors. Prior to the rebrand we were receiving feedback from clients and partners that our branding didn't reflect the sophisticated nature of our work and that it was holding us back from landing certain clients. Since the rebrand, we've eliminated this barrier and anticipate a faster growth trajectory.

They understood our industry and were able to level with us quickly to understand what we were looking for and put it into terms we understood quickly. Their ability to stick to the task and stay on target throughout all meetings was appreciated and helped us accomplish our goals on time.
