What distinguishes Stable Kernel from other providers? The quality and thoughtfulness of the work seem so much better than other mobile development houses that I've been around. Mobile development houses are trying to sell a service. Stable Kernel never sold us anything. They showed us their capabilities and their work, but nothing more. They asked us what we wanted to accomplish and if they were the right people for the job. What I saw from them was a genuine interest in the idea of helping kids find their closest free food. They loved the output. They loved the use of the app. To see that emotional connection really mattered. They honored our request for at-cost production completely with no push back, no questions, no nothing. The whole experience as a customer was terrific.

What distinguishes stable|kernel from other providers? The biggest differentiator is that they understand us. They really go out of the way to grasp the business logic behind your solution, and that goes a long way. Right now, the one in Georgia is better than them. They care about the client. stable|kernel has worked on a couple of subsequent iterations for free. The big differentiator for them is that they're great businessmen and know how to keep a client happy. stable|kernel didn't have to do any of the work they did after the first version was launched, but they did. They've invited us to different events in the city and have kept in touch. The relationship didn't end with the build of our project. I feel 100 percent comfortable recommending stable|kernel to anyone.

SADA Systems was really plugged in to Microsoft, which I really enjoyed. When bugs were found, and there were a series of bugs, this is Exchange 2003 we’re dealing with, trying to port that over to O-365, we were one of the first customers to go to O-365. We were discovering a lot of things, and SADA Systems was diligent at working with Microsoft, number one. Number two, the efficiency of the program was such that in under two months, we had the entire company moved.

I’ve met with a few other marketing companies in Austin and they all had a perfunctory, industrialized approach that focused on making your business fit into their pre-designed templates. Rock Candy Media interviewed me, figured out what we needed to accomplish, and achieved all those goals in the way that was best suited to our unique needs. The most striking part was that their CEO was in every meeting, looped into every email, and involved in our project every step of the way. I felt like they invested all of their resources into our project and treated us like we were their only customer, even though I know we weren’t.
