Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO and Managing Partner of 42 Macro. 42 Macro is an institutional-grade research platform that delivers timely, data-driven macroeconomic and financial market signals supporting detailed asset allocation and portfolio construction guidance.
For what projects/services did your company hire Brandetize, and what were your goals?
42 Macro launched in April of 2021 with some market interest due to the founder (Darius) and his credibility and presence on Twitter. However, it wasn’t enough to scale the business. We needed Brandetize to amplify the product by building us a marketing machine that garnered a continuous flow of qualified buyers.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We felt confident in Brandetize’s ability based on their experience and depth of knowledge in lead generation and funnel strategy. They’ve built many successful digital marketing strategies for impressive names in the thought leadership category so I knew it would be a good fit for 42 Macro.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
Brandetize provides us with a suite of digital marketing services. The team develops the funnel strategy, email nurture sequences, content creation, paid ad strategy, landing page design and ongoing optimizations, webinar script writing, YouTube strategy and optimizations, and conversion rate optimizations. They also manage all of our digital ads, whether they’re on Google Search, Google Display Network, YouTube, or other digital channels.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Overall, we’ve worked with close to 15 of Brandetize’s team members. They have a suite of subject matter experts all who play a role in the success of the launch. Strategists, content, design, email, video, tech, project managers and account managers all who make sure that our project is successful and runs smoothly, daily.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have seen our website traffic grow as well as a consistent flow of subscriptions coming in due to the strategic marketing execution from the Brandetize team. They have also succeeded at hitting our monthly subscription goal multiple times.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Brandetize is very responsive and always meets deadlines. We have weekly meetings to review project status updates, and the team is available anytime for quick chats or urgent requests. They act like an extension of our company.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Brandetize is invested in our success. They are a partner that understands our goals and regularly comes up with ideas to meet and exceed those goals. They are always working hard on behalf of the company.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Being a newer brand, we have had to evolve and quickly learn as the brand evolves. Brandetize is up for the challenge of always learning, iterating and evolving as we progress.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the digital marketing manager at a health and wellness company. We help people make better life decisions and teach them how to deal with stress.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brandetize?
We needed digital marketing and web design services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Brandetize is providing us with digital marketing and web design services. The team works with SEO, PPC management, Google Ads, and social media marketing. They manage all of our digital ads, whether they’re on Facebook, Google, Bing, or other digital channels.
They design and brand the website layouts for some of our key pages, like a product landing page. They also created a new section on our website that we’re about to launch that shows and contextualizes the services we offer to our clients.
What is the team composition?
I work with Brandetize's CTO, VP of marketing, social media content coordinator, page media strategist, art director, graphic designer, acquisition marketing director, and our account manager. I've also talked briefly about SEO with their senior SEO manager.
How did you come to work with Brandetize?
We first found Brandetize because they were managing the account of a partner of ours. We talked to them, and they showed deep care for our success, so that’s why we chose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested in the range of $150,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement started in October 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had positive results on our return on ad spend (ROAS) and our ROI. Our website traffic has increased, and our conversion rates have improved.
How did Brandetize perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re great at meeting deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I found their understanding of our brand and their communication to be very impressive. They bring in deep expertise and are easy to collaborate with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be upfront and honest about what you want to get out of the relationship. Also, be aware of what you’re trying to achieve.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a training company in the human potential and transformation space. We do a lot of publishing and digital products based on the principles outlined in a best-selling book by Jack Canfield.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brandetize?
We wanted to scale our business, but we had limited resources and staffing in-house. We wanted to boost our in-house marketing department and grow the business. We also needed digital marketing support as we produced more digital products and online training sessions.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We use them as the full-service digital arm of our company, and they do all our digital marketing. We start by brainstorming and developing concepts, then they work directly with our in-house marketing team. They identify projects and help us develop the creative, copy, and web support.
They layer in social media, build funnels, and construct complete campaigns for us. They also do inbound and outbound affiliate marketing, purchase all our media, and develop lead magnets. Additionally, they do a lot of production for us, which includes our video blogs and other content. They completely overhauled our website, and they’ve completed other special projects surrounding product development.
What is the team composition?
An account manager acts as the conduit for all their departments. They interface with coding, creative, video editing, copywriting, general strategy, affiliate marketing, media buying, and all their other resources. We have access to all their department heads, but the account manager really streamlines the process.
How did you come to work with Brandetize?
I don't remember how I heard of them, but they may have come through a referral. They work with other thought leaders who are similar to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent somewhere between $1 million and $5 million.
What is the status of this engagement?
They started working with us in 2016, and we've met with them every single week since we started.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They're very good at evaluating the return on our investment. On a monthly basis, we look at our expenditure and the economic return. They've boosted our business by significantly more than we've paid. Lead magnets perform extremely well, and the website, shopping cart, and all the other pages convert so much better than they did before. We see huge increases in our business thanks to all the work they do, and some elements have doubled in efficacy.
How did Brandetize perform from a project management standpoint?
We have regular weekly meetings, and we use Skype frequently. I'm not sure if they have a proprietary channel for project management, but most of that is internal to their team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their knowledge in the marketplace and their understanding of the technology in these ever-changing platforms are both really valuable. It's easier for me to work with an outside agency that is plugged in, constantly training, and managing their people. They help me extend our services and marketing footprint, and their team members really know what they're doing. They're equipped to handle change, and they're young, aggressive, and smart. They really benefit our company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't have anything they should improve or do differently.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We specialize in business training and development. I’m the chairman and CEO.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brandetize?
I hired them almost two decades ago to help with audio and video recording projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We work together on a profit-sharing basis and sell audio recordings, videos, training programs, and business courses. We process several simultaneous projects each year, and recently recorded promotional materials for a new goal setting program that will roll out to the entire English-speaking world.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with Eric (CEO & Cofounder, Brandetize), who leads a team of about 30 people.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend between $1 million–$2 million each year on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve worked together for 18–19 years. The collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We started by selling our products for as little as $10. That has grown to several thousand dollars per course, and we now sell $200,000–$300,000 of recordings and programs each month. The goal setting program has a huge marketing and sales potential and will open doors for our other products. We expect it will generate greater sales for multiple products and services.
How did Brandetize perform from a project management standpoint?
I would rate them very highly. Their people are familiar with all of our products and resources, and they have our potential profitability in mind. The quality of their work is consistently excellent, and they always deliver on time. We have several mutual interests, and are very invested in one another.
What did you find most impressive about them?
This is probably the best business relationship I've had in my life. In my many businesses, I have earned several hundred million dollars for myself and my partners. My relationship with Brandetize is easily among the most profitable of all my partnerships.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I think they should improve. We have a long history with them, and we’ve never had an issue.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Hire them. I am always eager to refer new business to them.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a small satellite launch system called Fenix Space.
What challenge were you trying to address with Brandetize?
We wanted to prepare for our marketing launch by building up our web presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Brandetize provided us branding and messaging, which involved a thorough competitor analysis. That work ensured that our branding would differentiate us from our competition. From there, they guided us toward goals, missions, and various approaches to operations.
They put together an in-depth platform that has assisted us with developing a mission statement, tagline, value proposition, brand promise, and more. All of their work has now been incorporated into our overall brand strategy, including colors, typography, and stylistic elements, all of which are reflected on our website.
What is the team composition?
We primarily worked with a designated project manager and four core teammates, including an SEO specialist, an analyst, a brand designer, and a communications professional. The CEO was involved as well.
How did you come to work with Brandetize?
I found them through a referral from a mutual contact.
How much have you invested?
We spent about $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We the project lasted from January–April 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The independent competitor market and consumer research added a lot of value to our company. The competitor analysis gave us an assessment of where we wanted to position our brand, which provided great insight into what we needed to do from a communications perspective. In that way, they did much more than just design a website for us.
How did Brandetize perform from a project management standpoint?
There was a combination of weekly remote meetings and monthly in-person meetings. They used Microsoft Project to manage the workflow, making changes as needed in real time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They took a more strategic approach to their work than others. Some agencies are very design-focused whereas Brandetize produces the end result based on a thorough environmental and internal analysis. Spending the time upfront on that helped us achieve a good result.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they were flexible to work with and very accommodating throughout.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s important to spend time upfront providing them with background on your industry and market. Having that information is crucial to Brandetize bringing you ideas for direction and yielding great results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Paid Traffic Manager at an entrepreneurial, personal development company. Our company has around 100 employees and I oversee all of our digital advertising activities across all product ranges and channels.
For what projects/services did your company hire Brandetize?
We get a lot of interest from businesses and bloggers, interested in selling our range of digital products as an affiliate. We wanted our own in-house affiliates portal that would allow us to have better control over our affiliate offering and lose less in commissions.
What were your goals for this project?
To increase the number of affiliates selling our products via affiliate channels, to make it easier for potential new affiliates to get started and to have full control over the commissions each affiliate might earn.
How did you select this vendor?
Brandetize were introduced do us as a recommendation and we could not have been happier. They have over-delivered in every area and we are already looking forward to our next project working together.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They delivered our own in-house affiliates portal using the Post Affiliate Pro software suite. We also received fully customised web pages, including sales and merchant account sign up pages. Full training materials, T&Cs and every other bit of guidance we might need to firstly launch this to our customer base and secondly be safe in the knowledge we can easily on-board existing and new employees to new this new software solution.
What was the team composition?
We worked with Charlie and Rachel across the full project. All of the guidelines were met, all of our expectations exceeded and every question/comment/enquiry, no matter how menial was responded to super fast and in easy to understand language.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our new affiliates portal, although in its infancy is already getting lots of interest. We already have a large number of affiliates waiting to join the new program and although we do not yet any revenue based results the signs are that this is going to be a highly profitable channel in a very short space of time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We used Slack for collaboration across the teams with weekly Zoom meetings. We worked really well together and it was more like working with an extension of our own company, than with an agency.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
How committed they were to the cause. With myself in the UK, Brandetize on the West Coast of USA and a 7 hour time difference. Any time there were issues finding suitable meeting times to meet both parties they always went above and beyond to commit to unsocial times, including some 6am Zoom calls.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No. Just keep doing what you are doing, I could not recommend Brandetize enough.
