We're obviously in the early stages of the school, but already we've gotten a lot of exposure, and I think that's due in large part to Proof Branding's work. Other schools have taken notice as well. There're three or so other schools who have signed up with Proof Branding since I worked with them, and they saw the success we had. I think when we first connected with Proof Branding, I liked how they were able to elaborate exactly what they wanted to offer in a package. They were so thoughtful in the RFP [request for proposal] stage of the project, and that sense of ownership and process-oriented work absolutely transitioned to the project itself.

There were instances when more time was needed to creatively solve for a particular design challenge given the sprint pace of the full rebrand we were undertaking in only 4 months. In these instances, the ColorJar team was proactive about communicating with us about why the extra time was needed and showing us WIP designs to help give context to why the time was needed. They were always aware of any executive meetings or board check points and were careful to ensure we always had what we needed to communicate well in those forums.

I don't have a lot of experience with branding agencies or ad agencies, but I would say that the two things that stand out are that we're interacting with the experienced, key people at their agency, and that they never settle. Once we signed up with them, we didn't get passed on to somebody else. Sometimes, with these projects, you start with the partner or managing partner or director, but then they disappear. That's not the case here. We've had high-level interactions competence from day one. In these types of projects, there are many times where you could say something was good enough to move on. In every aspect of the project, they want to make sure that they nail it, and that we feel like they nailed it. They're very thorough on all details and in all aspects. I really can't think of anything about which I would say they should have done something different or better. They've certainly exceeded all my expectations.
