What challenge were you trying to address with OAX STUDIO?

We had a vision for our brand, and we hired OAX STUDIO to turn it into a full brand concept.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the project by providing OAX STUDIO with our ideas. They took that and evolved it into something even better. At the end of the process, the team delivered a coffee table book that contains all of our brand guidelines. It had our logo, color schemes, and whole brand identity. 

What is the team composition?

We only had one point of contact, but I’m not sure how many people were working behind the scenes. 

How did you come to work with OAX STUDIO?

My wife was the one who found them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around March 2020, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re extremely skilled at combining their vision with the client’s vision. Everybody who’s seen OAX STUDIO’S brand work loved how it turned out.

How did OAX STUDIO perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve performed pretty well. We like that they walk us through the process step-by-step, ensuring that we don’t get flustered by too many things at any given time. 

We typically communicate through email and Zoom, but we exchange text messages when there’s an emergency.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Some agencies try to steer us away from the idea that we want, but OAX STUDIO really takes on our vision while guiding us toward the correct path. They make everything more simplistic and provide us with enough variety to understand what will and will not work out. It makes the whole process very easy for us, and I really enjoy working with their team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everybody can always improve on themselves, but no, I can’t think of anything could do differently. Not everybody can do what they’ve done for us so far. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just listen to their ideas. OAX STUDIO has a broad spectrum of design experience, so give them a shot and let them impress you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Oax Studio?

We wanted to create a new visual identity for the project we were working on. The said project was already existing for a couple of years, and we just wanted to take it to the next level to increase its impact on various channels.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We came up with a brief and received a proposal from OAX STUDIO after. They provided several services, including creating and designing a website from scratch. They also developed the whole visual identity of that project, including the logo and various visuals which were applied on the website. In addition, they suggested some content that would be relevant to our platform because we only had limited content available on our side.

What is the team composition?

We were in touch with three people, including a graphic designer. Our main point of contact was the founder who doubled up as the creative director. 

How did you come to work with Oax Studio?

My connection with them was purely based on references from their previous work. We also asked a few agencies that we had some experience with to submit their proposals on our project. In the end, we selected OAX STUDIO because they had the best ideas in terms of the quality of the design. On top of that, they just seemed to work best for what we were looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

Over the number of years, we spent $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

I worked with OAX STUDIO from February 2015–September 2020. However, I know that the company is still working with their team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

On our projects, we looked at the results on Google Analytics and our bounce rates. We also determined how many products we sold. We especially monitored the sales during times when we featured new designs on our store. Overall, we were satisfied with OAX STUDIO’s quality work. In fact, they were able to exceed our expectations.

How did Oax Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything worked out as expected and was delivered according to the agreement. We communicated through Skype, emails, phone calls, and occasional in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity was top-notch.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Our engagement started with a branding project that included a logo design, color scheme, and social media management.

We initially provided them with a list of requirements we wanted them to implement and they came back with a proposal, different options, and ultimately the final deliverables.

I mainly work with a creative director and a designer.

We had already established a previous working relationship.

We’ve invested around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in January 2017, and we’ve worked on multiple projects since then.

I base the success of the partnership on the obligations that they’ve fulfilled, which they successfully have. Apart from that, they’ve significantly improved awareness of our branding.

They perform well from a project management standpoint because of their communication skills and ability to stick to the budget and timelines.

We’ve mainly been interacting through email.

We’re impressed with the quality of their work.
