Website development and creating a professional and visually appealing website. This involved designing a website. We needed the site to be attractive but at the same time user friendly as this is a serious choice and the customer is paying a lot of money and should be given a maximum range of products to choose from.

Stone can differ in different patterns and we have to provide the right photos and information for selection. Also my other main requirement was to ensure that the website runs smoothly. That any technical problems that arose would be corrected as soon as possible. As the website is the face of the company.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main result for me personally was that the customer who came in would want to stay there and choose different products and materials. Not only for ordering and further to do other things, but that when a person gets to the site, he would not feel that there is no difference in ordering online and offline. He is just as important and he will also have an individual approach to him.

At the moment I can safely say that this result has been achieved and this I say not without equipping and from the feedback of our unique customers.

Initiative and substantive work is the only way I can characterise the guys from the IT Hunter agency. They are very easy to work with and a pleasure to work with. It was often the case that we were very busy, and there was no time to talk to them for hours, and I gave them the right to decide and do at their discretion and after I accepted the work they did exactly what was in my head and adhered to the concept of our business.

Fast forward several years, and a few owners later, David and Rachel found a new passion in spreading the love of the Lone Star State. Texas Treats specializes in Texas-themed gift baskets, gift boxes, and gourmet foods that are made in Texas by Texans that are for EVERYONE. The company features locally sourced goods, such as nuts, honey, candies, jams, and coffees.

Our logo was designed by a previous designer which I found had difficultly relating my brand to the premium experience I wanted to convey to my customers. On a referral, I spoke with Pure Fusion and they understood the vision and was able to use my logo and elevate into a premium, fashion forward website and package designs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was working with a client who suggested Pure Fusion as they create all their current mailer boxes. Once I saw the design variations while keeping a consistent brand across all of them I was hooked.

After a few discovery meetings, Pure Fusion provided three options on where to begin the packaging journey. Right off the bat the first design was the best and we used that one mailer to ripple down into all our designs. I know have a cohesive, related premium brand and was able to then create a dedicated brand board which has been very useful. The packaging really helped with bringing the whole look of the store design, package and branding all tied up in a bow perfectly.

The experience itself is what blew me away. Previously I worked with a local company who I found to be disconnected from what I was looking for but also in communication. We could have slowed down the website design to focus on a few items thoroughly but it still came out beautiful and I am happy with the final product.

We work directly with David. We are aware he has other team members that work on the designs but he spearheads the design idea and works with us to get it just right.

David communicates well and is always trying to push the projects forward. His suggestions and ideas are always appealing but he also has no problem taking more direction from us to produce a design as we envision it. Its the combination of creativity from both David and our company that creates amazing package designs and is executed perfectly by David.

Communication and updates are always great. David works to get projects done in a timely manner and is usually just held back by our approval each step.

David has a great design aesthetic and is able to accommodate our design needs as they shift across different markets and demographics. We needed designs that are completely different from each other but they never failed to come up with something great!

I'm the marketing director at a manufacturer of nutraceuticals called Vireo Systems. We manufacture supplements for different industries. For instance, we have a sports supplements category called Promera Sports.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pure Fusion Media?

We contracted with Pure Fusion Media to update the packaging for our product line at Promera Sports.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I initially contacted them on a weekend, and I was surprised to get an email back that same weekend. I spoke with David about our budget and our goals, and by Monday, he had sent me at least 10 prototypes. That gave our project some momentum, and we continued to discuss the rest of our product line—which involved developing 3D renderings of the entire lineup. We narrowed each concept down until we reached a design we were satisfied with.

David, the CEO, has been our primary contact. Their head of digital media was also involved.

How did you come to work with Pure Fusion Media?

We had difficulty finding strong designs from an outsourced graphic designer. We couldn’t reach a consensus in our offices, so I was asked to look outside our normal orbit of graphic designers to find something new. I found Pure Fusion Media on Upwork. I specifically searched for a firm that had experience in consumer product packaging design.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in March 2018 and have ongoing projects. Our packaging is being printed this month and will be introduced in September. We’re currently working together to build a new catalog for all Vireo products we manufacture. For the first time, we will have a comprehensive catalog.

As we grew closer to a final design, we sent it to several stockholders and received positive feedback. Additionally, we’ve shown the design to our top distributor, and they think highly of it, as well. They’ve known our brand for 10 years, and when we learned they like the new packaging, we know we were on the right track. We believe we’re accomplishing what we wanted to accomplish. Because of their work, we’re making a new statement to the industry that we’re back and better than ever.

Most of our communication comes through emails and phone calls, and they’re always accessible. They are open to criticism and changes in design, which we appreciate. They’re not defensive. They are willing to including our ideas.

Pure Fusion's branding efforts have helped portray our products as disrupters in the marketplace. I receive compliments on our branding constantly. Large brands have told us that our packaging for our category is the best in the industry—they stand out immediately on store shelves.

Almost immediately, he had an idea and got back to me in a few days with a perfect logo, font, and lettering. I made a few suggestions, which he completely understood and implemented. From that point on, he helped me develop the business—from planning to marketing to suggesting a video production company. We put the project on the shelf for a few years while I focused on another project, but everything is set up for us to move forward.

Currently, he’s helping me write two books. He takes my concepts and makes them blossom into fully realized stories that are better than I could verbalize.

Everyone that has seen what David and I created for Poog’s Smokin’ Hot has been impressed—and surprised that there hasn’t been something similar in the market before. I’m confident we’ll get great results.

David is available whenever I need him, and lets me know ahead of time if he’ll be out of town. I will usually reach out to him via text, he’ll respond immediately, and I’ll follow up with a phone call and pictures of my concept framework. He then evaluates all of my ideas and plans, and we talk on the phone to solidify details and discuss the market or competition. For me, and several clients I’ve recommended him to, he’s had deliverables ready based on business plans or feedback within a few days.

David has integrity, honesty, and loyalty, and that’s translated into a long-lasting partnership. I have a lot of respect for him.
