What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They provided a project schedule with deliverables laid out. Established a meeting cadence but also allowed flexibity to allow me to digest and review the information provided. Each meeting included a shared file with multiple iterations of design that showed they cared as much as I did about the rebrand. There was mutual excitement as we started to hone in on the final design.

They delivered everything within the project time line they established. I probably took more time than I needed to on certian tasks but they were accomodating and politely pushed things forward when they needed to. They were respectful to any change suggestions and provided professional context when needed.

Gil and Olivia were great to work with and at times a perfect counter balance - they sometimes took opposing positions on certain elements in the design process that led to something we didn't even consider - It helped me realize they were really leaving no rock unturned and we were on this journey together.

As someone going through a branding exercise for the first time, nothing screams out to me to change.

In addition, SuperBrand designed and built a modern e-commerce website, including UX/UI design, product page layouts, and conversion-focused user flows.

Many hours were spent in defining what the company is and is not. Branding defines the company and clearly articulates who would be a good fit for my services. Website presented a compelling story for prospective clients. Services were articulated clearly. New logo was cleaner and more appealing. New name for company better describes its services. Colors, design were more attractive and inviting.

SuperBrand was very responsive; usually responded within 24 hours. There were many revisions and they cheerfully made these revisions upon request. The project probably took longer than they anticipated, but I never felt rushed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Its founder, Gil Nevo, took the time to really know and understand me, my staff and my company. He has a clearly defined process which helped me to understand was missing in my current brand and what could enhance what was already in place. I didn't want a "standard" website. I wanted a unique space which demonstrated my process and philosophy. 

Gil took the time to understand all that, but never hesitated to make recommendations or tell me what he thought could be different or better. He always presented at least a couple of options and then gave me the time to reflect on them. This felt like a daunting project, but the team's confidence and expertise made it all come together.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SuperBrand could have done differently?

Logo work was incomplete and I had to go back for more files.

The purpose of the project was to refresh the branding of our company by creating a string narrative around a set of brand principles that is appealing and generating enagagement of our community. In the first phase, the narrative was created. In the second phase, new designs incl. an entirely new website design were created. Key deliverables for the first phase included a brand messaging book, including:

They provided us with an input file upfront, so we could provide them with sufficient information. Subsequently, virtual meetings to clarify questions, align content, and discuss the project status. They have always delivered on time, were well prepared and were always open for feedback, which was quickly and very well worked in.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They create amazing designs and are really capable of quickly comprehending complex technology and built a high-level appealing narrative on top.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SuperBrand could have done differently?

There was one time that designs were changed quite significantly and we were suprised, because we liked the previous ones more and did not communicate that we want a lot of changes. However, our feedback was well taken and SuperBrand did immediately change the designs back and even improved them. They immediately understood why we preferred the previous version and the end result was amazing!

Their design prototypes looked great and were well organized, enabling answering a lot of questions that our developers would typically have before they could ask them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Throughout the process we had regular status updates. Everyone was prepared for each presentation and walked the client through how best to fine-tune the design for a successful outcome.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The designs looked great. We'd love to work with them again. And as a team of developers it is refreshing to get a file handoff as well organized as Superbrand's.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Superbrand created some great designs, but the client did get hung up at one point on a few placeholder images that didn't match the topography of the land they protect.

We were evolving from a personal brand, under myself and my name, into a company brand. We needed a company name, core messaging, branding visuals (logo, fonts, colors, etc), and an overall strategy for transitioning my personal audience into the new company brand.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Had been hired previously for personal branding. Originally met founder Gil at a media event in Los Angeles.

We started with filling out a branding questionnaire that really helped clarify our outcomes and start getting a better sense of where we were headed. Follow this we had a meeting including all members of Superbrand team, where they listened to all our leadership team talk about the challenges we were facing with our branding and messaging. There were lots of questions that invited us to dig deep and think differently. Following this, we had a number of meetings with superbrand while they worked on our messaging. It was a fun back-and-forth process.

After about a month of this, we met for a presentation of our messaging and brand image. We loved many options and over the next few weeks, with some back and forth, made decisions on the company name, key phrases and a logo. Following this, Superbrand began designing our website. A few weeks later they presented us with a beautiful website design, which we loved and after sharing our preferences from the options they gave us, Superbrand provided a final design. They also recommended partner web development companies, which we met with together with them to get a quote from.

Once we hired a web developer, most of our work was with them, but superbrand was consultated from time to time to get their help with bringing the original vision for the messaging and look all the way to life via the new website launch. This included a final review of the website before it launched, which helped us to come full circle to the intention of the messaging, which was in danger of being lost a bit by getting caught up in the technical aspects of the web development.

We worked directly with 3 people: Gil the Founder, Nicole the Copywriter and Ben the designer. We also met Olivia the Biz Developer once.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of this project, we have an inspiring company brand that everyone on our team has rallied around and within. It has given them more ownership over this work no longer being under the umbrella of my personal brand. The change is also creating a gravity around our work as something more substantial and that lives on it's own as a 'thing' than the work did under me as an individual.

We started with a general plan for when the meetings would happen and we always ended each meeting knowing when we would meet next, which I appreciated. Meetings were often long and in-depth, time allowing. I appreciated the relaxed generosity with time Superbrand gave to us. Communication between meetings by email and with Google Docs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of the work they deliver is extremely high level. I was surprised at how accurately the words and images they gave us described what we knew but was indefinable for us. We are consistently complimented on our brand and we trust that each time we hire superbrand to evolve our work, this will continue to be the result. Again, I was also impressed with their generosity and how committed they were to a high-level of quality and result.

Maybe consider a central place for project communication outside of email.

To start, we completed a 2 or 3 interviews with Gil and also concurrently completed a brand workbook in between meetings. Gil led us through the process of rebranding by digging into why we do what we do, how we do it and who we do it for. Based on our own words, he crafted a series of descriptions about our work that ultimately became the framing for our website. Gil helped us turn our passion into client-focused stories that are energizing and interesting.

Their commitment to taking time to really understand our work and then helping translate it to words that other people understand was essential. For a process that was intimidating for us to undertake, Gil was able to make it fun and productive. They possessed unlimited creative energy and applied it to their clients' needs.

Our client was building a content hub and wanted a strong identity for their new content brand. SuperBrand helped us develop the new brand messaging, logo, and website mockups.

We met with them prior to bringing our client on board and thought they'd be a great addition to the project.

They met with our clients, digging into the reasoning for developing this content brand, all of the details on their business model and what makes them different, and the "why" behind why their clients would seek them out. They really helped pull language out of our client I don't think they would have gotten to on their own.

From that, SuperBrand developed messaging including taglines, mission statements, the about page for the website, and many other items. They also designed their new logo and the design of the content hub that then went directly to our website developers.

We were on the brink of begging a website rebuild and realized we needed an outside perspective on our brand, logo and messaging before we could move forward.

How did you select SuperBrand and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke with the Superbrand team about their process, past projects as well as our goals and expectations. I would say the deciding factor to go with Superbrand was the way Gil and the team seemed to understand our goals and vision from the get-go and ease any concerns about roadblocks we might run into in evaluating our brand with an outside consultant.

We entered into an extensive discovery period that included questionnaires and 3 zoom meetings to discuss our brand voice and look/feel. We then received three designs of our homepage and an additional sales page as well as logo options. We went through a few iterations and additional discussions until we arrived at the final drafts. We then received all assets and Illustrator files to work with.

We worked with a project manager, a designer and a copywriter.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are still months away from launching our website, but have been able to develop a website style guide and several more branded assets from the rebrand exercise and have a better understanding of our voice overall. We are excited to launch the finished product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very efficient. We were given ample time for feedback and to absorb the assets we were given, and Superbrand was quick to turn-around on their end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by how quickly and deeply they were able to understand our voice in our very niche industry. They also helped us think outside of the box in the way we are communicating the value of our services. They helped us to realize what sets us apart from competitors and how to effectively show that.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There could have been a bit more organization of files and assets like a single drive folder to reference, but other than that we were very happy with the process.
