But, for us, they have always understood our marketing position and what we're trying to achieve, which clearly is three distinct visions for three distinct businesses. This actually gives us a unique perspective to see that they're not just saying the same thing repeatedly because we've actually worked with them on three different projects. So, clearly, they bring a personal point of view and a personal touch to each project that they're doing. That allows them to capture the nature and essence of the property and convey that to people who aren't necessarily familiar with the properties.

Although many of their resources were in Europe, Lindsay was in San Francisco, and we were in the UK, we made the project work. The distance between us was never a limitation, mainly because the function specs were built, and we had a technical lead on our side supporting Cylogy. Plus, we had daily standup meetings, and the work was getting done, so the distance didn’t make a difference. When we took them on, we didn’t know them other than through a recommendation, and they became part of our team.

Project management was very well organised and follows an agile method. ShopTrade will work with most any project management software to deliver the goal, but we went with their suggestion for using Jira as they're experienced using it. Jira was organised in such a way as to allow us to follow regular sprints with clear deliverables each week or two weeks. For day to day communication we use Slack and everyone on the team is very responsive.
