Since I started working with Main Street ROI, there has been a noticeable and drastic increase in the number of incoming calls, inquiries, and business. Instead of getting 20 calls a month, of which five were good, five were terrible, and 10 were in the middle, I'm getting 200 calls a month, and 50 are good, 50 are terrible, and 100 are in the middle. It's a tremendous jump. I attribute it to them. I do not believe it's a coincidence that as my Google rankings move up to the front page, that the phones started ringing off the hook because people don’t look me up in the Yellow Pages or other sources.

They are exceptional with project management. They use Mavenlink, which is an online project management tool, and all of our conversations happen there. Any files that need to be shared between the two of us are uploaded in Mavenlink. It’s a one-stop shop; nobody is having to dig through old emails to find what’s due and what’s not due. You can also track and see what percentage of each task has been completed. Even if they don’t say how close they are at being done on a logo, you can look on Mavenlink and see that they’re 80% done, so I can expect the first version to be given to me in a week or so. They’ve been very proactive in reaching out to us to make sure that we don’t have any outstanding questions or additional needs. I give them high markings for that.

I just constantly feel that they’ll pick up the phone and talk to me. They’re receptive to all of our ideas. They’re quick to change things if we want something changed. They go above and beyond. A classic example is Kaley, our account manager. For whatever reason, she’d logged onto our website, and she found an error. That’s not a part of her job description, but she just happened to be there, got on to us and alerted us of it. It’s that well-rounded service that I like from them that I really appreciate.

I turned it all over to the Sutter Group who identified how the colors weren’t right. We reordered all the banners, table cloths, and branding material. They were great in cleaning everything up, developing the style guide, and identifying everything. I was continued to work with them, but it was instances like that which convinced my boss that we should keep Sutter Group. She was somebody who came in, changed everything, and liked to use her own agencies.

I had dedicated resources. They don’t have account directors or anything like that. You're really interfacing with John Sutter [COO, Sutter Group]. As far as estimates and timelines, they were really on top of them more than I was at sometimes. I can’t speak highly enough about Mary Ann, the office manager. She is just phenomenal and on top of things. She contacted me, calling about upcoming events, and if I was all set for it as far as what I’m going to send and deadlines. There were times in our company where they didn’t take the deadlines as seriously, but when you’re dealing with an event, the event is coming whether you like it or not, and it’s going to happen on that date.

I’m not sure how big your project for Sutter Group is, but be aware that they are a small shop, which allows them to give personalized and intimate services. But then again, if you have a really big project, just make sure that they have the staff lined up for it. John has lots of resources.
