My site speed was very slow and was using a lot of clunky themes and unnecessary script so Phoenix Road Creative created a new website theme/design for me. The key deliverables were: increase site speed, remove old/unnecessary script and improve mobile optimisation.

Our client needed a refresh of their website, and incorporate new tracking protocols as well as a new webform.

We were looking for someone that could keep the site easy to read, simple functionality, and still stay within company brand guidelines.

We had a meeting with our client and Phoenix Road. From their a statement of work was created, and a wireframe was developed. After approval, Phoenix completed the website on time.

The site was integrated into a CRM system, and we were able to track new leads more efficiently.

More on our end, then their's. We should have looked more at competitors sites and how theirs were utilized.

We needed a music festival website for a new event that could be managed by 1-2 content managers at most.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We vetted several vendors based on our site requirements. Experience, cost, and project timeline was used to select the best vendor for the project in addition to the passion and personality of the vendor. We need to make sure everyone can get along and complete the project.

We need to create a website to announce a new music festival and be able to add different sections as they were announced like talent list, vendors, location of the event, ticket sales FAQ's etc. this project needed to be turned around in about 2-3 months.

It was suggested we use Wordpress to keep things simple and manageable for a small team as well as to keep the costs down.

The head of affiliate marketing and our Digital Ops manager as well as head of brand creative and myself were involved in the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Unfortunately, the event was push to 2024 and we had to cancel the launch of the project, but everyone at the company was very happy with the site and bummed we could not launch it yet.

Overall very laid back and communicative. Once all her project questions on the requirements have been answered and she understands clearly what is needed she provides a proposal and timeline to meet those requirements in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Jennifer is very friendly and always willing to find a solution to our needs, specially last minute changes. Other vendors immediately bring up the OUT OF SCOPE card.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My only suggestion would be provide weekly status updates to push the client (us) to provide any pending items to keep the project moving along.
