I am the Sales Manager at a high volume manufacturing company.

We hired RIOT for full marketing services, design, website management, packaging, video, digital marketing advertising etc. We are a manufacturing company and wanted to focus on that so we hired them to be the experts in marketing for our manufacturing company.

We had worked previously with members of the RIOT team and were very happy with the quality of their work.

RIOT helped us break out of being a small company by totally rebranding our company from another brand to Radian Weapons. After brining RIOT on we had a significant increase in brand awareness and overall market share.

What was the team composition?

The owner of both our company and RIOT work closely together on projects of all sizes, while members of our sales and marketing team in house work out details with the RIOT team on day to day tasks.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are extremely pleased with the work that RIOT has done as a marketing agency for our brand, we credit their expertise to be a major factor in the significant growth of our brand.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have weekly calls. Our account manager is available anytime I need to call her to ask questions or discuss anything. We communicate over calls, email, and Slack. Communication is great. They are very driven to provide project updates and proposals for approval in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

RIOT has an incredible interest in the success of our company. They treat us like a family and the effort that they put into making our brand successful is unmatched. The video work that they do for us is second to none in our industry and, while everything they do is to a very high level, the video work is unmatched.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

I have positive feedback for every service that RIOT provides to us.

I am the Director of Marketing for Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. We design, manufacture and sell long-range precision rifles for shooting enthusiasts, law enforcement and military.

For what projects/services did your company hire Riot LLC?

We initially hired RIOT, LLC to create our 2018 Product Catalog. I was personally so impressed with their vision and work that I insisted we utilize them for product launch campaigns.

They developed the entire go-to-market strategy from teaser campaigns, to print advertising, and promotional giveaways. The entire launch was centered around an award-winning commercial storyboarded, produced and directed by RIOT.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals for the REC10 project were to bring awareness to a new product. We needed to tell the story of why our product was better than others on the market. All the assets were to be utilized in pitching the REC10 to our B2B customers and create buzz D2C.

How did you select this vendor?

The catalog bid originally went to 3 companies, with RIOT overwhelmingly leading the pack with their creativity, understanding of the industry and ease of cooperation. I and the President of the company, Chris Barrett, along with input from Sales and the rest of the Marketing team determined they were the best fit. Once they were established as our go-to agency for large projects, I knew I would use them for product launches and branding.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

The overall scope of the REC10 campaign was to produce a 2-3 minute product film showcasing rifle features and specifications in the studio as well as a 2-4 minute lifestyle/military film chronicling the life of a soldier to drive an emotional connection. This includes script development, in collaboration with Barrett, pre-production planning, equipment rental, and post-production editing.

I was involved in script development and creative direction. I also provided the product, worked with partners and ensured the technical accuracy of the callouts.

What was the team composition?

We worked mostly with Michael Shumway, the owner, and Crystal Jennings, our Account Manager. There were a number of people involved behind the scenes during development, but communications were completely coordinated through Crystal.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Feedback was positive from both our customers and the fans. Military users appreciated the realism and emotional connection with the product. The video was responsible for bringing awareness to the market for not only that specific model but also other products in the family.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I will admit that during the catalog project, we had workflow issues. Trying to communicate updates and changes to a team that is spread across multiple locations resulted in many mistakes. This was communicated to Michael Shumway and he was very receptive. They have since developed a solution to accommodate. The REC10 Video project went much smoother and the results showed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The strengths of RIOT are their ability to take an idea and bring it to life beyond anyone's expectations. Even though they are not local to our business location, the coordination was superior to any of the agencies we worked with prior. We were included in every step of the process, so we always knew what was going on.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As mentioned earlier, ensuring changes/corrections are completed when requested was the only area of improvement needed.

Retail and wholesale customers purchasing product and committing to collaborating on forthgoing products. Great reviews on the presentation of our products/brand image.

A committed project manager has allowed the contact point to be singular for most every project. The team is small but extremely efficient and is focused on rapid execution for all matter of projects. An emphaisis on planning ahead allowed us to sync on goals and deliverables while allowing enough time to execute high priority items.
