BlueLabel partnered with a manufacturing firm to modernize legacy ERP-driven workflows and unlock decades of operational knowledge. The team built an AI assistant that integrates directly with the client’s ERP and data sources to support quoting, order tracking, troubleshooting, and executive insights. 
BlueLabel captured senior specialist playbooks and encoded them into assistant behavior, reducing reliance on a small expert group. In parallel, BlueLabel implemented a modern data layer that unified more than 40 years of records, including roughly 390,000 orders, 9,400 clients, and 3,700 products. The solution now surfaces history and guidance in seconds, strengthens onboarding, supports remote roles, and establishes a scalable AI platform for additional manufacturing use cases.

What challenge were you trying to address with Blue Label?

We needed help simplifying the workflow process for our field technicians working in the telecommunications space. Many of our customers are cable subscribers, and our technicians were taking up a lot of time calling internally when they went out to help them. We wanted to automate this process as much as possible because a lot of the work was repetitive.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Blue Label provides us with AI consulting and development services. Initially, we worked for a few weeks on understanding the entire workflow process of what was currently happening in the field. After that, we started working in sprints and iterating piece by piece to see what we could automate.

Blue Label has used OpenAI software to develop AI-powered automation of our processes. The team is also responsible for post-implementation support, including monitoring and optimization.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with a project/product manager, an AI engineer, and an architect. Additionally, we've had a chief of product, BlueLabel's CTO, and a few other teammates involved in the project.

How did you come to work with Blue Label?

Our internal team was evaluating 10–15 different vendors and found Blue Label through a referral or Google. The team seemed to have the best approach and had a lot of experience based on the examples they showed us. We thought BlueLabel would be the best fit and help us reduce costs and headcounts.

We've spent around $350,000.

We started working with them in May 2025, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our original goal was to reduce dispatch calls by 30%–70% by the end of the year, and we're currently at the higher end of that, over 50%. We've also reduced costs and headcount. We used to spend $11,000 a month on salaries, and now we're spending $11,000 less per month. It's costing us around $1,000 per month, so we'll easily recoup the cost in the long term.

BlueLabel's work quality has met our expectations.

How did Blue Label perform from a project management standpoint?

We've had no problems with the budget. Blue Label has been very transparent about how they work and how much they're going to charge us. We work in an Agile, sprint-based process and are probably ahead of schedule by two months. We could have stopped at some point, but we've decided to keep going to experiment a little bit more.

Not every software development project gets completed ahead of time, but since it happened, we're using the planned budget to complete more than we initially expected. We use Slack for communication, Zoom for video calls, and Miro for collaboration.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about Blue Label is the results. We've used very new technology in a way that isn't just flashy but has positive results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren't any. BlueLabel is easy to work with. We like them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a specific problem in mind. We knew BlueLabel was competent and would get excellent results because I found an issue, and the team helped us identify it. BlueLabel gave us a well-documented course of action. If you don't know what you want, you won't get excellent results with anyone.

What challenge were you trying to address with BlueLabel?

We needed a solution to help with some of our claims adjudication. Our volume was going up, so we needed a solution that could allow us to handle that increased volume without needing to add staff. We needed AI integrations to be able to do some matching, but we didn’t have that expertise in-house with our existing IT staff.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BlueLabel provides AI development for us. We initially gave them a high-level overview of what we were looking for, and within a couple of days, they came back with a working POC. We then set up a full engagement, and we started meeting immediately to work through all the specs.

We’re using several AI solutions in this project. We’re using an LLM to assist with OCR and the extraction of images and text from the images to be able to do document classification. The AI behind that uses Gemini and Llama Cloud as the engines. The LLM interprets the extracted text and matches it with some of the things in our actual policies. BlueLabel also provides post-implementation support, monitoring, and optimization.

They've pulled together a team of two developers, a project manager, a business analyst, and a solutions architect.

We’ve seen improvements in efficiency and automation. Tasks that normally took 40–45 minutes have either been eliminated due to automation or reduced to 10–12 minutes.

How did BlueLabel perform from a project management standpoint?

BlueLabel's project management is excellent; they meet deadlines and stay on budget. We have three stand-up meetings a week with their team and our team. We also share documents and statuses between the two of us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

BlueLabel goes fast. One of the things we weren’t prepared for was that sometimes we were the reason we slowed down, because they went faster than we were used to working with vendors. They’re very professional. They’ve taken a knowledge domain that they knew very little about and gone very deep into it. They’ve learned all the details, which is above and beyond just developing a software solution. They’ve actually partnered with us to come up with the best solution. Their knowledge of how to apply these newer technologies is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re working with some pretty leading-edge technologies, which is what we’re asking them to do. However, when they’re communicating with our in-house users, they could do a better job of translating the technical aspects to add more business acumen so it’s more understandable by the users.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared to go into the project already having all your resources ready for them to work on it immediately. Any delays you have in-house will slow them down. Be prepared for a fast project.

This set us up on the right foot both with work completed, our app architecture and our processes for moving forward after contract completion.

We were working with an end client who wanted to move into the AI world. We’ve been working on a product with them for several years now but needed BlueLabel's assistance with AI expertise ranging from strategy to design.

We went through the discovery process with BlueLabel and worked with a strategist and designer. We took a while to determine the entire product vision and strategy we wanted to work toward, but after that, we got buy-in from our end client and moved forward. 

During the discovery phase, we spent time digging into users' functional and emotional needs. Once we had a good grasp of this, we started to lay out everything in Figma and worked through an iterative process to produce finalized designs for the client.

We don’t have any hard metrics because the project has not been launched, but our end customer was very pleased with the work. Everything they gave us was approved and promoted by our end customer’s C-suite leadership and board.

We used Notion for project management, and BlueLabel was highly organized throughout the project. Their team was able to adapt to changing needs and roll with the punches. Everything was delivered on time and within budget. We communicated via Slack and email. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We’d like to shout out Tanya; she is a powerhouse when it comes to strategy visioning and was able to push a lot of the designs into a really powerful place. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The entire team we worked with was very impressive, and we appreciated what they brought to the table. They were very accommodating for what we needed in each circumstance and always ensured that we had what we needed to move quickly and complete tasks. We were also impressed with the level of support that BlueLabel provided and their ability to push the product and the vision through consistently.

They addressed everything that we brought up and were willing to work with us, so there’s nothing we can come up with at this point.

What challenge were you trying to address with BlueLabel?

We wanted to get into AI and create a prototype to integrate it into our platform and help us make decisions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

BlueLabel has designed and developed our app. Since we had worked with them for a few years, we thought it would be a great opportunity to get into the AI space. We initially went through five workshops with their team. They walked us through an exercise to identify our key priorities and business areas we could benefit from.

Since the workshops, we’ve worked with them to clean the data and remove anomalies. BlueLabel has returned with reports.

We have two outcomes as goals. One is the ability to anticipate forecasts with a 90% accuracy rate on the likelihood of filling posts for jobs. The other is the ability to type in a question as a user and get back an immediate response to the question.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The fill rate is vital to us because it’s the likelihood of getting someone to complete the labor. BlueLabel has driven the fill rate over an 80% accuracy rate, which is meaningful for us.

Moreover, they’re incredibly collaborative. The data analysis produces specific outcomes, and they work with us to ensure the data is clean and without anomalies. The quality of their work is outstanding due to this collaborative nature.

How did BlueLabel perform from a project management standpoint?

We have no problems regarding project management. They’re always on time and within budget. We have weekly meetings; sometimes it’s a 15-minute call, but it depends on the topic. Overall, we communicate almost daily between emails and phone calls.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Bobby has done an outstanding job. He understands our business because he’s been with us from day one. Moreover, he quickly works things through, and his ability to talk from the business side is excellent.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They brought in Tanya (Senior Director of Innovation & Strategy) for the workshops, which was a valuable step for our team. We focused on the problem we were trying to solve and how it related to our business priorities. Overall, the five workshops weren’t long, but they were incredibly detailed and effective.
