I'm the senior director of marketing for a logistics company. We provide over-the-road transportation services for shippers across North America.

We hired them to redesign our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?
GLIDE® has provided web design and development services. The team has created a brand-new website from scratch, including the backend and frontend. They've also migrated some resources from the old website, but essentially built a new webpage.
The team continues to provide maintenance services and continuous website improvement. The team also offers PPC and SEO services and helps us build our content strategy.
What is the team composition?
We work with a project manager, a creative director, and an implementation team.
How did you come to work with GLIDE®?
We interviewed many agencies before settling on GLIDE®. We went through a quite extensive vetting process and a pretty stringent statement of work. They definitely worked hard to get our business.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2024, the website was launched in July 2024, and our partnership is still ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The team's work has been incredible. They have transformed our website and seen an incredible amount of traffic. They have continued to optimize our website, and we see more results month over month. The team has helped us rank for service-based and interest-based target keywords, which we never had before.
They've also helped us build out our content strategy and whatnot, so it's been an incredible journey with them just to see the amount of traffic that they've helped us generate to the website. The product was stunning, I'm in love with the website, and I think it's beautiful.
The customer service team that we work with is amazing. I just adore our account manager, actually, I adore everybody that's on our team right now. I had a conversation with them last week. I'm like, do not take my people away. I love these people. I don't want them off my account.
How did GLIDE® perform from a project management standpoint?
The team has been incredible. We've been on very specific timelines, and the team has met all of them. We had one slight delay, but it wasn't their fault. The team has been quite flexible and accommodating.
We use Figma for the design process, which is really cool and my first experience using it. It is great being able to go in and leave design notes right on the template web pages, and use another tool for project management. We've migrated to Asana after the project. We've had weekly meetings via Zoom and communicated with our project manager via the project management tool and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When we evaluated them against other providers, everything looked like it was built on a template. In contrast, everything they showed us was a unique painting. There was nothing cookie-cutter about them, which we loved.
We feel comfortable working with GLIDE®. The team feels like part of our team, and they care about us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There's nothing I can think of. The team is flexible and open to feedback.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be transparent upfront about what you want. Think about your tech stack, what you need to integrate with, and the design you want. Make a list of the content you want to migrate. Giving that information to GLIDE® allows them to create something customized and unique for your business.

The new website that Travis and his team at Glide Design built for us in 2007 has been a major part of our business success over the years. I’m convinced that, along with a lot of hard work on our end, our executive search firm was ranked #10 in the world by Forbes in 2017. At our peak, we were logging over 2000 unique visitors a day, which in the niche world of retained “Executive Recruiting” was was pretty impressive. We also really appreciate GLIDE's commitment to working with nonprofits, which made it possible for us to get all the functionality we really needed in the site within our budget.

Design 8+ webpages, a complex package catalog with many filter options and categories, and form placements and CTAs to convert submissions. Develop the website in WordPress after the designs were finalized. Test and confirm functionality of site with post-project support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The 6-8 month project was to design and develop a replacement for our previous Wix website. We worked with the Glide design team for the first few months of the project to finalize designs and content for 8+ pages and a new single package listing design. Our industry requires excellent and appealing design that highlights many large photos and Glide did a great job. The website features hundreds of travel experiences across 15+ categories with considerable filter options. The user experience is intuitive and easy to navigate. All feedback on the design and functionality have been very positive!

We were in contact with 2-3 people at Glide in any given month. They were very responsive to design change requests, post-project bug fixes, and deliverables dates. We had valuable project planning and design meetings via Zoom. We enjoyed the experience!

The design fit exactly what we were looking for! Stunning use of our photos and created an energetic experience to keep visitors clicking.

We could have used a little more time between finishing development and launch. The window that was planned for was very short. The development team was very responsive and easy to work with but we have some minor issues that needed more time to address. Everything was handled and launched successfully!

Glide helped us migrate 10 sites from multiple platforms and themes (drupal, wordpress, custom) to a shared custom theme installed on WP Engine, with all assets owned and administered by us. This process took roughly a year due to stakeholder management on our end. After successful and smooth launch, we have continued to work with them to develop new functionality on the shared theme and help us troubleshoot any issues.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since 2020, our page views and screen views have increased 80%and our users completed goals on the site 1.4M times last year. Our websites remain one of the key pillars of our communication strategy--email marketing, social media marketing, video marketing all point back to our sites where good design ensures that we value digital hospitality as much as we value hospitality in person.

Communication is clear, quick, and reliable. I know that any ticket I open will begin within 24 hours of submission--often much quicker. If I flag a ticket as urgent, we can expect the problem to be resolved within the hour.

Glide played a crucial role in refining our primary user personas, enabling us to tailor the website to better suit their needs. Additionally, they assisted us in a comprehensive website redesign that seamlessly integrated our brand identity while maintaining a vibrant and inviting user experience for visitors. By leveraging WordPress and custom blocks developed by Glide, we are advancing in creating pages that ensure a cohesive design throughout.
Furthermore, we've implemented a secure exit button, providing everyone on our site the option to quickly exit if they find themselves in a situation where they prefer not to be seen. They also helped us make our site in Spanish and indexed our site so we would start populating on google.

The week of launch we had already had 3 client guardians who have said to our staff that the website was really helpful to understand the services that we provide to the Travis County Community.

I do think that it would have been helpful and less tedious for us to review the content once implemented on the new site to hop on a call to talk it through the pages with the designers and project manager first to make the updates rather than just making a bunch of tickets. However, the done-done ticket system was fantastic and really useful.
