Building sites is complicated and there were some minor irritations. I felt that Gauge could have listened more to me at times, but the move from Magento to Shopify was a new venture, I believe, for both of us.

They spend a good amount of time upfront getting to know what it is they’re going to build, and are not afraid to give you an honest quote. A lot of times software shops will underestimate the time it will take to finish building it. I think Exygy does an honest job of really bidding projects. Exygy forces you to do that process ahead of time, so that everybody is on the same page with respect to the budget and deliverables, which in the software development field is very critical because it can get really expensive really fast. If I were to point to the best thing about Exygy, it would be their transparency in defining and scoping and then delivering to that scope.
