Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The site is newly launched and has been well-received by stakeholders, including former and new affiliated members and board members.
The client was very happy with the site and the level of service provided. Enspire definitely met and exceeded expectations on this project. They did a great job with communication, the work product, were very communicative, flexible, and organized, and just a pleasure to work with.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
I can see that Enspire does not have experience being a subcontractor and working with other companies rather than directly with clients, and they could have done a better job in terms of setting expectations upfront, being respectful, and communicating.
I could very much feel the difference in their communications and consideration with the client versus with me. In terms of overall workflow, there was one element of the project that fell behind, and Enspire requested feedback before it was complete without sharing their own consolidated feedback first.
Aside from these hiccups, Enspire did an excellent job managing the workflow -- they were highly efficient and communicative with the client, positive, adaptable, and extremely accommodating. They did an excellent job with project and client management, and I was able to take a very hands-off approach as a result, which I appreciated.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The project and client service and management was exceptional. They went above and beyond to be flexible with the client, accommodating, easy to work with, and just lovely. They did an excellent job handling questions in a thorough and timely fashion, especially toward the beginning.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I have incredibly high standards for design; there were some elements of the web design that weren't fully thought through or purposeful. As mentioned, there was a hiccup with the development process which could have been handled better to make the situation more efficient for the client. It is clear that Enspire does not frequently subcontract or partner with other vendors often -- they can be more thoughtful and respectful in their approach and communications. Toward the end of the project, they became a bit less responsive and let things drag out longer than needed.
