Live for Lily Foundation
Live for Lily required a fully featured digital platform to raise funds for cancer research. We developed a new website to showcase campaigns, drive donations and provide a crowd funding platform for the riders of their annual “Ride for Lily” event.

Great Southern Press
GS Press publishes a range of highly circulated trade publications, and enjoys very strong readership both online and print; coupled with their regular conferences and events.
In spite of an ageing (but still robust) platform, we have undertaken dozens of technical challenges to improve, evolve and streamline functionality and user experience across GS Press’s multiple brands.

Inke Packaging
A new comer to the market, Inke is making waves with their custom packaging solutions and purely web-based business.
The new website boasts full integration with their API and product pricing matrix, dynamic content, custom built content management and amazing performance on enterprise level Craft Commerce CMS.

Care Connect - Accessibility
Care Connect’s audience has a diverse range of accessibility needs. In addition to the regular management and support we provide them, we undertook a project to move the website towards AA WCAG (accessibility) standards. This involved a deep audit, strategic approach to challenges, and testing via a range of automated, manual and real user experience.

Road Trauma Support Services Victoria
Road Trauma Support Service’s legacy website meant the organisation was at an impasse for improving their user’s online experience.
We replicated, refactored and evolved the old functionality and website to provide RTSSV with a robust, cleanly-implemented website to help them provide their critical services and evolve the organisation well into the future.

Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis
Melbourne University, in partnership with Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis, undertook a study to investigate how lifestyle recommendations delivered through an online learning platform affect MS. With specific course requirements, including the ability for replication and scaling globally, we developed a set of features and custom built the course from the ground up using the Laravel framework.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Inke, an online packaging marketplace in Australia, and we make it easy for brands of all sizes to come online or talk to us and source their packaging requirements.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mainstay Digital?
We engaged Mainstay Digital to help us rebuild our website entirely to a whole new platform. We also needed to develop new features for the website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We supplied the team with the wireframe. From there, they built the platform from the ground up, connecting the API and building the interface and product design across a wide range of products.
What is the team composition?
I worked with two people from Mainstay Digital.
How did you come to work with Mainstay Digital?
They had competitive pricing, which was their key advantage. We also felt confident working with them because their process was great.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent close to $100,000 AUD (approximately $72,800 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership ran from January–May 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results of the project have been fantastic; the website was operating well and we didn’t have any issues with it. We also saw an increase in customers and revenue, allowing us to improve our business month-over-month (MoM). Overall, the positive results of the partnership were thanks to our updated wireframe and the updated experience on the website.
How did Mainstay Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They completed everything in a timely manner, and they worked efficiently while maintaining clear and open communication channels. We were also able to ask them questions through Slack, and they got back to us pretty quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were easy to work with, and they were good communicators.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. They did everything they promised.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a very clear breakdown of your deliverables and make sure to have a thorough handover with them. If you do that, everything’s going to go as smoothly as possible.

Custom Software Dev for Nonprofit Organization
“The thing that I’ve particularly liked about working with Matt and his technician is that they’re very patient.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a nonprofit organization that works with people who have been impacted by road trauma.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mainstay Digital?
We employed Mainstay Digital to work with us to update the online booking system and website for our main educational program. We have an online program that provides us with about 50% of our income, and we needed to update the online booking system to support additional programs that we were running for certain sectors across the community.
We needed the booking system’s frontend to be user-friendly for end users, and we needed the backend to be user-friendly so that our employees could update and edit the relevant information daily. Due to budget restrictions, we needed to update our existing system, not create a new one.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had met with Mainstay Digital on a few occasions prior to starting the project, and they’ve performed a thorough analysis of what we’ve needed and wanted in order to update our existing system. Matt (Director) has come to our office on a few occasions to brainstorm on a big whiteboard about everything that we needed the online booking system to do.
We’ve needed the online booking system to integrate with our Access database. They’ve finished developing those changes, and we continue to contact them whenever we want anything about the system tweaked.
What is the team composition?
We worked predominantly with two members of Mainstay Digital’s team: Matt and a technician that worked closely with my team.
How did you come to work with Mainstay Digital?
Another not-for-profit organization referred us to Mainstay Digital.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $20,000 with Mainstay Digital.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve worked with Mainstay Digital in July 2020, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've been so happy with Mainstay Digital that we’ve made plans to work with them further in the next few months — they’re going to update our website as we undertake a complete rebrand. Mainstay Digital has been very patient and willing to work with us on updating our existing system rather than creating a new system.
How did Mainstay Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been very good about being accessible to us, and they’ve understood the parameters of what we’ve needed to change. There have been only a couple of minor things that went outside of the original quote, but those have been communicated with me directly and agreed upon at each stage. Mainstay Digital’s project management has been great — they’ve met deadlines and communicated well via email, phone calls, and online support.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The thing that I’ve particularly liked about working with Matt and his technician is that they’re very patient. Matt has put a lot of time into understanding what I need to learn, and he has a lot of knowledge in the relevant areas. They’ve really made us feel that they understand what we need and that they’ve been willing to do everything possible to accommodate us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It hasn’t been a huge issue, but we’ve sometimes noticed a little bit of a delay due to timezone differences with the technician.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend the time to engage with the project manager regarding the intricate details of what you want. Mainstay Digital will be keen to have those conversations with you. Take the time to investigate and co-create what you want as an end product.
The client was pleased Mainstay Digital's work. The site that the team created raised the client's customers and revenue. The team was also timely, quick, and responsive. More importantly, they were able to deliver all of the client's requests, which enabled them to establish a strong partnership.
