I'm one of the two founders of Latent. Our primary business is web and app development.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Inverse?

We were looking for a complete change for our old website regarding its branding, so we enlisted Inverse.

SOLUTION

What is the scope of their involvement?

Inverse helped us with web design and branding. First, they were tasked with developing a new name for us and developing the logo for that name. The first two months were dedicated to developing our name. After evaluating several options, we chose one and took everything from there.

After the naming process, Inverse created an entire branding guidelines document and designed our new website based on those guidelines and the content we wanted to include. Their team handled everything from start to end. We just provided them with our input and a couple of reference websites from our competitors to give them an idea of how we wanted to position our new brand. As for the technology stack, they used Figma for their design work.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two people from Inverse: one of the founders and a developer.

How did you come to work with Inverse?

We already had an existing working relationship with them, so we reached out to them when this project arose, and they gladly helped us out.

How much have you invested with them?

Our investment was roughly $25,000.

What is the status of the engagement?

We began working together in November 2020 and ended the project in March 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Inverse delivered very good quality work, and they achieved a perfect balance between a nice-looking and usable website. Our existing clients told us that our new brand identity looks more premium now, which is great. Still, we recently started our SEO efforts, so the site has little traffic.

How did Inverse perform from a project management standpoint?

Inverse was good at communicating, sticking to deadlines, and staying on budget. All the deliverables were clearly stated in a scope document before we started working together, and they came through with what they promised. Moreover, they went above and beyond in doing other things outside of the scope, doing them for us out of goodwill. As for communication, we had regular standup meetings with Inverse. We communicated via Google Meet, Zoom, and WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Overall, Inverse offers great services at affordable prices.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve on.

Any advice for potential customers?

There should be no restrictions on them; give them full creative freedom and access, and they'll create an amazing product for you.
