The best part of the design is ultimately that Fishfinger were able to take our brief, and examples of design we liked, and come up with a final website design which was better than anything we could have come up with. We really "vibed" with the people for lack of better words. We were referred to Revelation by a friend who thought highly of their work and we quickly had a good rapport with the team. To us working with a group we liked was one of the most important aspects, we felt they genuinely wanted to understand our goal- which to admit, we didn't fully know from the get-go. I even provided them with a small-batch line of chocolates to try and experiment with so that they could understand its roots well. Three things in particular that stood out: 1. How the application design was wired to imbibe customer centricity in mind. In an industry like ours (which is on the cusp of quizzing & entertainment), it’s essential to understand the nuances of customer’s moods & excitement and be able to add in layers that keep him engaged throughout. 2. In fact the value addition from the studio’s end to enhance my core brief was impressive too. They threw themselves into the whole process to arrive at the finally constructed design brief. 3. The design that came out in the end, was reflective of how we had imagined it to be. Before kickstarting front & back end development, they shared a high fidelity prototype for user testing and the whole process of design approvals at every stage, helped build trust between us.

They estimate based on the number of hours, so it’s clear whether they’re tracking over or under. As a nonprofit, we’re sensitive to prices. They did creative from scratch for our 2017 events. In 2018, they said they could deliver everything new, but could also just change the photo and the date for a more realistic cost. They’re cool about working with our limited budget.
