The provided us with dedicated account manager for the brand refresh and laid out a clear approach to get us to the end state. We established regular meetings to track progress, and all dependencies managed. The entire team from Fellow has been great to work with and they really made the effort to understand us, our business and our values. The initial design concepts were spot on and really got us to focus on the new brand identity. They invested time in developing an understanding of Colombia and its culture, and developed creative design solutions that incorporated them. They went over and above the contractual requirements and became both a design and delivery partner with us to get the best outcome for the brand.
Fellow were quick to take on feedback and iterate designs, to ensure that it aligned with expectations, but at the same time provide challenge and advice on the right steps forward. Both Paul and Anthony were ready to jump on a call whenever we needed their support and made the whole process a lot easier for us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Fellow Studio could have done differently?
Fellow helped us through a critical part of the business strategy and really came through as a brand design partner. As a business with both an online and physical store presence, we could have worked more on the digital aspects of the brand with Fellow as well, and built a scope of work more representative of that. In areas of product packaging, we could have worked more with them earlier on in the process to source the right printing partners and test production feasibility.

We were aiming to create a range of digital media assets for an internal awareness campaign aimed at informing our staff about financial crime - what it is, how it affects our organisation and our expectations on them.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I met with Anthony to discuss the scope of our project. It was encouraging at this point that there seemed to be genuine enthusiasm at the topic and some good input on the range of options for how this could be delivered. Ultimately there were numerous deciding factors in the decision to use Fellows. The prompt replies, warm approach, understanding of how the material fit into the end campaign, a willingness to go further to make the campaign effective and clear plans / timescales submitted for delivery.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project was an internal campaign for all our staff. We have 55000 staff across numerous jurisdictions and we wanted to get a consistent message about what financial crime is, how is affects the areas they work in and what we expect (as an organisation) of them when they encounter this. The project was split into 6 separate areas - general financial crime intro, fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, bribery and sanctions. For each topic we were hoping to get a range of material to deliver to our group over the course of 5 working days. This included videos, infographics, images and creation of dedicated portals to house the assets.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
My understanding is that there were 4 key resources involved in this project - Anthony and Paul - the two co-founders, and Nadine and Dan - project manager and designer.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
At this current time the campaign is awaiting full rollout to our entire group (scheduled before end of June), but our senior leadership team have had sight of the material and have remarked on it's good quality.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very. We had weekly catch up calls and regular updates throughout the project to advise on how things were progressing. We had 2 in-person visits to the studio for presentation and creation of material and any queries along the way were promptly replied to and worked on.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was very happy with how enthusiastic they were about the topic of the campaign. It's not the easiest of content to understand and condense, but the team was great at knowing what was needed and offered really useful suggestions on how we could present it.
Ultimately the material produced reflected this. It is great balance of design and readable content. I would also add that I was very impressed with the communication and personable approach throughout.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing immediately springs to mind. We found out as the assets were being sent over that our firewalls did not support and shared data spaces (e.g. Google drive), so this required us to setup a portal from our end, but this is not really the fault of Fellows. They were understanding and sent the material promptly here instead.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Director of Software Solutions and Telco. Our business is connected to the global consumer channel whether that be Retail, Telco, Wallet or App and is the conduit to global brands.

We are a fantastic technology company but struggle to convert this technology into consumer facing sales decks. We needed Fellow to understand our technical value add and turn this into a compelling consumer proposition.

How did you select this vendor?
Fellow came highly recommended by a global brand that we work with.

The initial sessions were set up for us to explain more about our business and our business challenges. We then went through in great detail the technical solution we are trying to deploy and what the consumer benefits are.
Both Nadine and Anthony @ Fellow lead us through this process and took the time to understand our challenge and to then go away and turn this into a sales proposition. We then worked on both internal and external sales decks to drive adoption and lead generation.
What was the team composition?
Fellow not only provided top line support to address the key problem statements we had but also ongoing support throughout the project. They have never been more than a phone call away and having this intermate relationship is for me why I will use Fellow again.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our project has now delivered more than 2,000,000 sales and projected to sell over 3,000,000 in 2022. This would not have been possible without the key decks being able to quickly scale up our external and internal stakeholders.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We made it clear at the start of the project that we did not have all of the answers and needed to be lead through a project like this. We are a technical company at heart. Fellow lead us through how we turn this from a technical vision into a sales solution that will drive the future of our business.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
For me, the key reason was having the credibility and support of a much larger agency combined with the intimacy of a smaller organization. It was wonderful to be able to have a single point of contact and to build up a relationship with someone. I felt she really took the time to understand us and what we were trying to achieve. Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
Not really. What i would say was the speed that we delivered the second project shows how quickly we learnt how to get the best out of Fellow but equally how they learnt to get the best from us.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work at a company called iSoftBet, an iGaming company offering a rich set of slots and table games, along with player engagement solutions. I'm the CMO.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Fellow Studio?
Fellow Studio provides support for a range of branding and creative projects. Their services include creative conceptualization, video creation, and branding initiatives.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the last 12 months, we worked with Fellow Studio on a few projects. They handled everything from pre- to post-production, editing the footage and mixing the audio for all of the videos.
At the beginning of the year, they delivered our first corporate video. This involved everything from conceptualization to creating storyboards and bringing our new corporate expression to life. The output of that was a corporate video that is now sitting on our website.
The second project entailed the recent launch of our new product called the jackpot tool. We needed some content for the launch, primarily a video. This again involved thinking about the concepts all the way to storyboarding, but it also involved 3D technology. We did 3D modeling for this particular video and it was launched at a conference keynote in front of 5,000 people last month. It’s also featured on our website.
We had some difficulty with our third project. We were in the middle of COVID-19 and couldn’t shoot, so we needed to repurpose all of our B rolls for a new corporate story. This is in line with the internal launch of our newly rebranded corporate expression. Fellow Studio matched all of the available footage and segmented it into different portions. The team also changed the way our logo moves such that the last three letters mimic a slot machine.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 4–5 people, which included the two owners of Fellow Studio, project managers, and creative directors.
How did you come to work with Fellow Studio?
It was an obvious choice because I had heard really good recommendations about their two owners. They used to work for very credible agencies in the past before deciding to create their own.
How much have you invested with them?
We work with them on a project basis, each costing around £10,000–£20,000 (approximately $13,000–$27,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working regularly with Fellow Studio for a year now. Within this time period, there have been 3–4 projects. Right now, they’re working on another project for us that will be delivered by the end of the year. It all started in February 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m a very demanding client, so the fact that the quality of the videos was good enough for me to put them on our website is a really strong testament to Fellow Studio’s work. The videos they’ve created have been very impactful to us. The product launch video, in particular, has been very well received at the conference where it was aired. In fact, it was even featured in the sizzle reel that organizers created.
How did Fellow Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They work on time and within budget. The few times we’ve exceeded the budget was due to my numerous change requests, and even then, Fellow Studio informed me why we were going over. They always tell me in advance what they can accommodate for free, what needs much more work, and if I’m okay with being quoted for the change.
We have a Gantt chart in Excel and we communicate through that chart or through virtual calls and emails, depending on the urgency. They’re very flexible with the kind of communication that we use.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Fellow Studio’s expertise in content strategy and creative concepts is very strong. They’re able to challenge my brief and make suggestions on how we to make our brand and products look more premium. They keep the long-term goal in mind, but they make a lot of helpful recommendations along the way.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have anything to say in this regard. They’re a boutique agency but they could pass as a larger company because they are very strong.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you have never used a creative agency, you’ll be in really good hands with Fellow Studio. They will tell you exactly what they need and it will be an easy onboarding.

My day to day contact was an Account Director - she managed all of the amends process, however Anthony and Paul were across all comms which made us feel reassured that we had design director level input across all proofs.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The client and MMM were extremely happy with the result - it looks like a second partnership could be on the horizon to build on the hub - it's always a good sign when there is repeat business.
In the post campaign analysis we could see that dwell time was high and the bounce rate was low - yes we produced good content, but credit to Fellow for the strong UX design and making the content easily found.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very smooth. There was an internal KO between us and Fellow followed by a client facing KO. A timeline was share by Fellow which I fed into my wider timeline and no deadlines were missed. I kept the team in the loop if I knew the client needed longer and they adjusted accordingly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were very personable - nothing felt like too much. I know these campaigns can be high pressure and stressful but they never made us feel like we were getting in the way! I can honestly say they went above and beyond.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I was really pleased with the process - no improvements from our side.
