One of the big things I would underscore about Tonic is the flexibility of their content modules. I've worked with design companies in the past that treat each webpage as a separate endeavor with new price points, but Tonic’s modules made it easy to apply their designs to multiple pages. As a midsize agency, they're able to be extremely nimble. They’re not so big that internal red tape complicates project pivots, but they’re still large enough to accomplish any goals set by the client. Their perfect size allows them to respond quickly and effectively to any project changes.

From a CMO’s perspective, there’s not much more value you can get out of an agency than ideas you would never have thought of on your own. We are certainly a brand looking to challenge the status quo and grow relatively quickly, which requires a certain amount of being responsibly edgy, and I think that they are uniquely positioned as a company to be able to deliver that.

We use Podio for project management purposes, which gives me full transparency on their progress. Our teams also communicate via email and phone calls, holding weekly and monthly meetings as needed. They’re professional and transparent. With some firms, it can be difficult to track progress toward project goals. This hasn’t been the case with them at all.
