I’m the owner of a tax service named Pacific Tax Pros.

What challenge were you trying to address with Create By Influence?

I was really seeking a complete marketing program — a fresh strategy, a new website, and a CRM. As the owner of a small business, I didn’t really know where to start with my marketing. I know taxes, and I know the core aspects of my business, but marketing wasn’t really my forte. I had tried to work with smaller marketing firms, and I had attempted to make my own funnel ads, but I wasn’t pleased with the results.
 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we went through a comprehensive overhaul of my website, taking into account the client journey and how we nurture leads. They started designing the website to reflect the look that we wanted, receive clients, and capture leads. 

After revamping the site, we talked through my marketing strategy and how we wanted to run ads. These ad campaigns were an iterative effort — as we discovered what worked and what didn’t, we made new improvements to the campaign. Finally, they custom-built a CRM for me to capture leads and nurture them with automated text messages and emails. It’s designed to work hand in hand with my website, which is fantastic. 

What is the team composition?

I almost exclusively worked with Nick (CEO & Founder), but I know that he had more people working on my project in the background. 

How did you come to work with Create By Influence?

I have an interwoven net of professional contacts out here in Los Angeles. Someone I had worked with in the past introduced me to one of their contacts, and that person put me in touch with Nick. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested $15,000–$20,000 with Create By Influence at this point. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with Create By Influence in August 2019, and I am still working with them. 
 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since working with Create By Influence, I’ve seen a 460% ROI — in the first year of us working together, my business brought on 104 new clients, which is awesome. 

How did Create By Influence perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve really exceeded my expectations with project management, and they always met the deadlines that we set. We usually communicate by text, over the phone, and on Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest strength of Create By Influence is flexibility. If a process isn’t working, they’ll start shifting to improve it — if it is working, they will constantly try to improve it even further. I trust that they are going to deliver what they promise, which isn’t the case with some other marketers. 

Nick has always made himself available to help me when I have questions or issues. He’s very responsive and will take time to jump on a meeting and develop a solution. The relationship that I built with Nick is the most valuable thing that I’ve taken from this collaboration. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been nice if they were a bit more hands-on with the content creation.
