Can you provide a brief description of your company and the role that you play there?
I'm the CEO of Soul Hitz Entertainment, LLC.
OPPORTUNITY/CHALLENGE
What was the business challenge your company was facing that initiated the need for this platform?
I wanted to move into website and mobile development space about five years ago.
SOLUTION
How does your company implement this platform or software?
We have about 20 applications on the market now. They range from schools to dry cleaning companies. I use Appsmoment as a source platform to host my applications. They make it more efficient and easier to get things done faster. It's a real easy platform to code information.
Was your company considering other platforms? Why this platform?
I shopped around quite a bit. This was about three years ago when I found Appsmoment. I looked at their reviews and one thing that made me go with them was that they had frequent videos of the updates that they made to the platform. That was cool to me because I knew they weren't a stagnant company. I could tell the company was growing and that they would be around a while, so I could grow my business with theirs. Their clientele is much larger now. Some people use Appsmoment just to develop apps for themselves. I use Appsmoment to build apps for other businesses.
On an annual or monthly basis, how much does your company spend to utilize the platform?
I now pay for the whole year. At first, I was doing it monthly.
FEATURES
Were there any software features or tools that impressed you?
I like that Appsmoment is an open platform, and you're able to include whatever content you like. You have to abide by the rules of each market, which is different for Amazon, Apple, and Google.
Looking back, are there any areas of the software upon which you feel could be added or improved?
One thing that would make it easier is to be able to update information faster instead of having to ask to do an update. If there was a real-time update system, that would be great. With Apple, submission to the App Store is a slow process. If one of my customers needs to change something, I have to know two weeks in advance so I can get it to Apple.
Have you had to interact with the platform's support team or reference their support resources?
I wish they would have some type of phoning system to be able to contract someone. Even if it was an upgraded membership, where you I could get additional amenities or support for an additional fee. Sometimes, I need immediate assistance. I know they're an international company, and I live in the United States, so the response time is not always fast.

We have a few quick questions and, for each question, we ask you to rate the software on a scale of one to five, with five being the best. What would you give the software for functionality of the features available?
Four. I just wish there was a way to update information in real time. When clients need something changed, it takes a long time. Sometimes, it is just as small as graphic that needs to be changed.
What would you give the software for ease of use or ease of implementation into your business?
Four. It's easy as a coder. It's very user-friendly. Again, not being able to change information is frustrating.
For support, as in responsiveness of the team or helpfulness of the resources available?
Four. I wish I could give them a call. When they respond, it's helpful. But, it's not fast. I understand they have many customers and can't get to everyone right away. Maybe they should have a telephone center just for calls.
How likely are you to recommend the software to a colleague or similar business?
Five.
For overall satisfaction with the platform?
Five. They've helped establish my company. I've generated a whole business through Appsmoment. It's phenomenal.
