The project covers the development of a Customer Mobile Application, Helper/Partner Application, and Admin Dashboard to manage bookings, operations, and service delivery. Key functionalities include user authentication, conversational AI-based booking flow, cleanup service scheduling, recovery food and wellness kit ordering, real-time helper tracking, payment gateway integration, notifications, and booking management. The project also includes UI/UX design, backend development, API integrations, QA testing, deployment support, and project management activities following an Agile sprint-based approach. Key deliverables include a scalable MVP, operational admin panel, helper workflow system, payment and notification modules, live tracking functionality, and a production-ready application for iOS and Android platforms.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

By the end of Sprint 4, the development team successfully delivered the core MVP functionalities for the Hangover Helpers platform. This included the Customer Mobile Application with authentication, profile management, homepage, cleanup booking flow, conversational AI-based service selection, scheduling and time slot management, recovery food and hangover kit ordering, payment integration, notifications, and order history modules. Additionally, the Helper/Partner App was developed with features such as job management, availability handling, navigation support, booking status updates, and real-time tracking capabilities. The foundational Admin functionalities and operational workflows were also implemented, enabling end-to-end booking and service management across the platform.

The project was managed using an Agile development approach with structured sprint planning, regular stakeholder communication, and iterative delivery cycles. Regular progress tracking, risk management, and prioritization exercises helped maintain delivery timelines and product quality. I’m the director of Love Ya Corporate Catering, a food and beverage company. We deliver high-quality corporate and government catering while creating a social impact by providing a donated meal to a family in need for every meal purchased.

We needed help building an end-to-end digital platform, including a multi-restaurant marketplace, ordering and delivery workflow, Stripe integration, restaurant dashboards, and a backend to scale the business nationally.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DianApps has designed and built the full technology stack for our multi-restaurant catering platform. This includes UI/UX design, the development of the customer ordering website, a vendor dashboard for partner restaurants, an admin portal, Stripe Connect integration, menu and order management features, backend APIs, and overall system architecture. 
We’re currently in sprint 3 of a planned 12-sprint build, with DianApps responsible for frontend development, backend development, database setup, QA, and deployment throughout the project.So far, DianApps has delivered the initial discovery work, user flows, and UI/UX designs for the customer ordering experience, restaurant onboarding, and core platform navigation. 
They’ve set up the backend architecture, begun implementing key APIs, and developed early frontend components for the customer-side ordering interface.The larger components of the system — including the vendor dashboards, admin management portal, menu configuration tools, full order lifecycle, payment gateway integration (Stripe Connect), notifications, and the remaining API integrations — are still in progress and scheduled across the remaining sprints.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although the platform is still in development, several measurable milestones indicate strong progress. These include the delivery of all major UI/UX design assets, completion of the platform’s core system architecture, and the implementation of early backend APIs. 
Additionally, initial frontend components — such as the customer ordering flow and restaurant onboarding screens — have been developed and reviewed. These completed deliverables demonstrate clear movement through the planned sprints and confirm that the project is tracking against scope.

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re tracking well against the agreed sprint schedule. Sprint 1 (two weeks) was completed on time and delivered the initial wireframes, user journeys, and platform requirements. Sprint 2 (two weeks) finalized the full UI/UX design system and core backend architecture as planned. Sprint 3 (currently underway) has already produced early frontend components and initial API integrations, aligning with the roadmap established at project kickoff.

The measurable outcome was the completion of a fully functional first version of Glagia. All core features — user profiles, feeds, posting tools, search and filtering systems, and AI integrations — were delivered and are working end-to-end. The platform is now stable, internally operational, and preparing for public launch in December 2025.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and don’t have any major areas of improvement to point out. Every large project naturally has small adjustments along the way, but the team was always responsive and willing to refine whatever was needed. For my experience, everything was excellent.

I had tried getting a MVP using freelance websites and it just was not working for me. DianApps Was finally able to take my idea and create a very stunning application that functions flawlessly. From the UI/UX design to the functionality of it, everything works perfectly. Every feature works perfectly and they made the whole process very easy for non technical founder.

For me having an application that functions properly operates without crashes and looks good was a big deal for me. They were able to deliver a good MVP where each feature functions the way it's supposed to and looks very clean and modern. This was a big issue I kept running into when working with freelancers on freelance websites, they just could not deliver the same level of quality as DianApps was able to deliver.

another thing was they were able to understand my situation and we were able to find a budget that worked for the both of us to bring this idea into reality. I must say what they delivered was real high-quality work. I have confidence now that the MVP they provided will position me in a really good spot to scale and seek funding.

The project management was phenomenal. The project manager assigned to my project was awesome. She communicated things very well, set meetings up to discuss the project, communicated with the team effectively. The whole team worked together to meet needs in the app. From the design phase they worked effortlessly to bring my vision to life and worked to make any corrections. In  result they delivered a very nice modern sleet design.

For the development the project management was superb. The project manager kept me informed with updates on the progress and set up meetings to discuss any issues that needed to be resolved along the way moving the project forward effortlessly and together. The team is awesome!

The level of quality you will receive working with them is definitely worth every penny. I have spent thousands trying to hire freelance developers and each time I find myself having to start over because the quality of work was just not there. DianApps has helped us save 3–6 months of total development time, depending on the project. They’ve also helped us bring in more revenue by moving faster and doing additional development quickly. Overall, the quality of their work meets our expectations.

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

DianApps is almost always on time. Although there have been delays, those delays don't mean that the developers aren't working hard. We set up a Slack channel with their whole team and meet periodically via Zoom and Google Meet. Still, they don't need much guidance, as they work pretty independently.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their speed in getting someone onto our project. Additionally, their individual engineers are great at communicating, which is important because they need to understand what we’re looking for and build it quickly. Moreover, they all have an impressive background in the languages we need them to work on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some of the engineers we work with are a little more senior than we need. When we need someone for integrations or basic connections, they sometimes bring in a very senior person, which we don’t usually need. Additionally, when we need just one engineer for a project, it can be harder to find than if we need a team of engineers.

Be very clear about your needs and ensure that the person you’re hiring can deliver on those needs and potentially on future needs.

The process was very friction-less. The assigned designer was very responsive, allowing iterations to go smoothly until we had satisfactory deliverables. So were also product owner and head of delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Both the quality of the deliverables and the flow of the process were impressive, especially taking into account that I'm a relatively small customer operating in a different time zone.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DianApps could have done differently?

I have no negative remarks. It was a small job, and it met my expectations.

I'm the owner of a software development company, specifically app related.

What challenge were you trying to address with DianApps?

I needed support to develop an application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DianApps is responsible for the entire process of developing my app. The team has created design wireframes, user stories, and user journeys. We're now in the development phase, and the team is programming the code behind the designs created. DianApps uses Python and Node.js, and after finishing the app, the team will provide a maintenance plan and marketing support.

What is the team composition?

My initial conversations were with Parag (Co-Founder), and I've also worked with Bharat (Associate Product Owner), Harish (Senior Product Owner), and Mausam (Senior UI/UX Designer).

How did you come to work with DianApps?

I was previously working with a company that went bankrupt. We were in the initial stages of developing the app's idea, and I had invested £10,000 (approximately $13,000 USD) with that company. Then, some of the employees started working with DianApps, and they brought me on board to continue the development process that was mid-journey.
How much have you invested with them?

I've spent £26,000 (approximately $33,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We began discussing the project at the beginning of this year and signed the contract in April 2024. The app is in the final stages and close to being completed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

DianApps has brought my design vision into something I can see, which has been a pretty cool journey. I also like the team's openness and ability to incorporate changes according to my feedback. DianApps is prone to make changes that don't add cost to the project's budget. 

How did DianApps perform from a project management standpoint?

DianApps accommodates my schedule since I have two companies, allowing me to take more time to provide feedback. DianApps offers a cooperative journey. The project is a creative endeavor on my part, so we had an estimated timeline that has expanded because of my design change requests. The design phase needed more time, and this isn't DianApps' fault since I've agreed to extend the schedule.

We communicate through online meetings. Initially, we met twice a week, but now we meet once a week because we are in the development stage. We also have a WhatsApp group, and whenever the team needs feedback, we talk through the group.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Bharat, Harish, and Mausam have been instrumental in helping me enjoy the development journey and have been amazing throughout the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

DianApps is consistent, kind, flexible, and engaging. In the beginning, I only had ideas and concepts for the app's design since I hadn't seen anything like that before, and DianApps tried everything I asked them to. I provided video visual references and the energy I wanted the app to convey. Mausam was prone to listening to my vision and trying to find ways to bring it to life. 

Additionally, Harish has made me feel comfortable to start working with DianApps without having a defined vision and trusting that we would go through the process together. Initially, I was nervous because I thought I needed to know everything to sign a contract, but Harish made me trust the team to develop the app together. 

Lastly, Bharat is responsible for keeping the project's timeframe. Even though we've gone over the schedule with creativity, Harish steers the ship and ensures the project moves forward and that the process doesn't stop. Harish is really helpful because otherwise, we've probably stayed in the design phase forever. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything I haven't liked about DianApps' work. This is my first app development project, and I'm happy with the team.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

My only advice is to go for it and work with DianApps because they're a really good team.
