I'm the head of technology at PSS AG; we're a digital asset management company. We provide asset management services, especially for people looking for investment solutions for their retirement funds.

Idemo is a platform that connects the members of amateur sports clubs and helps organize tours. The main idea of this platform is to inspire and connect all sports enthusiasts from all over the world. Idemo connects members of different sports clubs nationally and internationally.
Challenge
Our challenge was to create a progressive web application that would provide a seamless and delightful experience for the users. It is helpful when the users need to find a partner club to tour or promote a tournament or training camp.
How we did it
Darly Solutions provided a way to make the platform using Angular, Ionic, Node.js and Express. Angular implements core and optional functionality. Node.js allows the infrastructure to build and run an application. Ionic enables us to build apps for all major app stores and the mobile web from a single codebase. The Use of Express is to provide server-side logic for web and mobile applications.
Result
In conclusion, we got a platform that represents the opportunity to meet and engage with new people in new places. It is a great idea to develop networking with the people who share a passion for the same sport.

Digital pet assistant

Qareo is an Italian digital pet assistant that helps to take care of pets using IOS and Android devices. This app is used for monitoring the health state of pets. One of the ideas behind the app is access to important data, such as veterinarian appointments and medical records.
Challenge
The business goal was to help people search through vet clinics in any location and read the information about the clinics using this app. And it is convenient to have the possibility of making an appointment with any clinic directly from the search.
How we did it
As a solution, the search engine was implemented with Angular and Angular Universal in order to reach the goal. The features of the server-side rendering were implemented with Angular Universal. Angular Material was used to create attractive web-design for the app. Through Google Maps API the vet clinics' locations on the map are displayed. This website is 99% SEO optimized that helped in increasing the number of potential customers.
Result
Now, the users have the opportunity to find and get in contact with the exact vet clinic that fulfills their requirements.

Burt is an analytics platform that was founded in 2009. The platform gives the opportunity for media owners to connect to and analyze various data sources across multiple departments and revenue channels.
Challenge
The challenge for the company was to develop a website that allows customers to review marketing reports. These reports are generated out of data from different resources. And consequently, they help to make strategic decisions as for future marketing campaigns.
How we did it
The resulting solution was implemented with the use of Angular and Ruby. A dynamic web app was implemented with Angular, data was displayed dynamically with Highcharts.js. Ruby was used for data processing on the back-end.

Now the users have the possibility to track the marketing data changes through dynamic reports to make the right strategic decisions.

PCR is an Artificial intelligence (AI) that checks errors with 99.9% accuracy for clinical diagnostic services. It helps to save time and money, improve patient care and monitor the changes in the analysis.

We were approached by PCR to redesign the system. The main challenge was to create a user-friendly platform, using UI/UX knowledge.
How we did it
Our development team paid a lot of attention to contrast and legibility that the old design lacked, and developed a new, more refined version that is more effective in providing medical services and collecting and storing important data, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress technologies.

Vidina is a web application for VR meetings. Users can register in the system; create a project; upload 3D models to the system; create a session (online meeting) where users can invite other users to discuss the 3D model (related to the current project). For the meetings users need to use VR glasses.

The main challenge was to create a user-friendly platform, where users could communicate with each other and share 3D models of their projects.

Challenge
The aim was to develop a website that would help customers sell their services in chosen locations. This would provide an opportunity for pet owners to cut their costs and save their time while looking for an experienced vet.
How we did it
For our part, we developed a fast search engine using Angular and Angular Universal. The work on the server-side rendering was completed with Angular Universal that helped increase SEO up to 95%. Angular framework was used to build a dynamic interface of the web app.

As a result, Acquisto gives customers the possibility to sell their products and services in particular locations. Now, the users have access to an enormous range of premium healthcare services for pets to take care of them in the best way possible.

The Women Political Leaders (WPL) is the global network of female politicians at the national level, including the European Parliament, of whom there are currently around 9,000. WPL was founded in 2013. The mission of WPL is to increase the number and the influence of women in political leadership positions.WPL strives to demonstrate the impact of women in political leadership. They already have ambassadors in 63 countries in the whole world.
Challenge
The aim was to disseminate the upcoming events and news articles using a portal on their website. This portal gives the possibility for users to read updated information about changes in this topic.
How we did it
Darly Solutions provided a way to make the portal using WordPress. This solution made convenient and functional information generator about policy and political events.
Result
In conclusion, we got the website that represents updated information for users that have the opportunity to be in the loop in events and news in the political field.

American investment fund

TXStartupBilble is a website for providing free advice and video courses to startups. This site helps to do some first steps in developing startups and to represent them in the American investment fund for potential financing. Nowadays, this resource is in great demand because of the progress in the technical field.
Challenge
The goal was to develop a website that allows users to present their companies and review public sources. The website gives the opportunity for new startups to get financing from investors and start growing and expanding.
How we did it
The solution was implemented using WordPress. With WordPress, we built the website which is convenient to use and added features that make it possible for users to interact with an investment fund.
Result
As a result, the users have the possibility to start developing their own startup in the American investment fund and review video courses that the website provided for them. There are 4 main courses on the site that have already helped more than 100 companies to start their own startup.

Fleetlink is a German service that offers a combination of low-cost-long-term rent and intelligent fleet management for a fixed monthly fee.

Our task was to develop a mobile app that would allow customers to check the state of their vehicles and pay their invoices via app.

Customer relationship management system

CaminoCRM is a customer relationship management system designed specifically for internet service providers. It allows customers to simultaneously monitor multiple servers and provides extensive server performance analytics.
Challenge
Our aim was to make the system much cleaner and easier to use. The main challenge was to improve performance speed and we were also tasked with a redesign to make the system more efficient.
How we did it
The first thing we did was to overhaul the UI to give the CaminoCRM a more modern look and feel. We created a fully responsive design for more than 30 screens. Next, we implemented changes by using Angular and D3.js for dynamic data visualization.
Result
As a result, the process of monitoring multiple networks became much more efficient and less frustrating. Using modern frameworks allowed us to deliver a new, much more snappy and well-performing system for our client.

Tablet app for personnel management

Scarly Limited is a company that specializes in risk management software for exchange-traded derivatives. It offers a wide range of solutions that can be tailored to the needs of any company, no matter the size.
Challenge
We were hired to develop a tablet app that would help collect employee reports at the end of each working day – a substitute for traditional paperwork.
How we did it
After defining client goals and end users’ needs, we came up with a list of required features, which include uploading and storing photos, adding signatures and generating PDF reports. We used Angular and Ionic to implement said features and to make sure that app runs smoothly on tablets.
Result
By implementing this software into the client's workflow, we helped reduce the amount of paperwork up to 70%. It made personnel management much easier and prevented data loss within the company altogether.

Glamezy is a B2C marketplace product for the beauty and wellness industry. Users use this responsive website to book appointments in nearby venues, get consultations and pay for their hair and beauty cosmetic treatments.
Challenge
Our task was to develop a website where booking beauty services must be simple. Customers should be able to find services nearby, book in advance or on the go to choose a time that is convenient for them.
How we did it
We developed a user-friendly website, using React and Node.js technologies.
Result
As a result, website customers can search with a single touch and book appointments with their favorite Salons immediately. All beauty bookings are in one place. Also they are able to shortlist favorite Salons in Glamezy with a single touch, browse beauty salons nearby and book directly with a preferred stylist. Additional feature is earning points for each appointment customers book and pay through the website.

App for ordering takeout food
Project overview
Hundred Forks is an app for ordering takeout food. It is focused on smaller restaurants rather than on well-known food chains to help small businesses grow and advance.
Challenge
Our goal was to develop and design an app for non-tech people in mind and we paid great attention to creating easy-to-use and fast product that would run well on old iPads.We also had to create an app for tablets so restaurants could manage their menu and orders.
How we did it
The result is a handy app with using Angular technology.
Result
Eventually we have a usable app with a social element in it – users can see which food is the most popular in their area, rate dishes in their order and share their experience with friends. Moreover, the app automatically indicates whether a certain dish contains an ingredient the customer is allergic to.

KOOL is a website for a design agency. It is focused on searching for the appropriate agency service, which will suit the customers needs.
Challenge
Our goal was to develop a website for people with a sense of style. It must be easy to use and well designed at the same time.
How we did it

As a result we have a website where users can check the portfolio of the agency, their blog and contact through the feedback form.

Project overview
PikMe is the social network that is helping to promote the photos and sell them to people. PikMe has taken the principles of daily fantasy sports and applied them to social media enabling anyone to earn money from their unique content.
Challenge
Our goal was to develop and design an app where users will have two main options: buy great photos and join a contest to win, and sell their photos and profit from their skills. Also all content that the customers see should be based on their previous votes.
How we did it
We developed a user-friendly application using React and React Native technologies.
Result
Eventually we have a mobile application that helps users to spread their art, get feedback from the followers and receive money from selling their piece of art. This app includes logging, authorization, password recovery, payments, settings, posting photos, notifications, etc.

Platform for creating advertisement campaigns

HotPlay is a platform which gives an opportunity for users to create and manage advertisement campaigns.
Challenge
Our goal was to develop a platform where users will have the ability to add billing info to the system (add card) to start campaigns. Create a dashboard where users can manage all campaigns. There must be 2 roles in the system: user and admin. The administrator must have access to all campaigns and must approve them before launching.
How we did it
We developed a handy platform using Node.js technologies.
Result
As a result, we have a friendly-user platform where users can create an account, add billing info, create and manage advertisement campaigns. There are 4 different types of campaigns here. Also users can specify general data about the campaign, specify budget, upload images for campaign and target audience.

CRM system for venture capital funds

Dialllog is the first CRM alternative for venture capital funds.
The Dialllog collaboration and relationships platform equips VC funds with a 360-degree view of all their activities, from fundraising and sourcing to due diligence and investment management.
Challenge
The aim was to develop a platform designed specifically for Venture Capital funds where users can manage ongoing processes, leverage smart insights in real-time and stop personal information silos.
How we did it
Our development team was responsible for the implementation of the main major feature that distinguishes Dialllog from the different capital funds platforms - user email client and calendar integration. Also our team implemented such key features as fundraising, deal flow, due diligence and investment management; email and calendar integration; smart elastic search through all activities and files attached; KPIs tracking and reporting (including ESG tracking framework); email automation, smart notifications and reminders.
Result
As a result our client has a relationship and collaboration platform that builds data-driven workflows to deliver speed for successful investments. Users and teams are able to collaborate amongst themselves and with their ecosystem of startups, LPs, co-investors, portfolio companies and advisors.

One of the challenges was to create a web platform (IoT) that will have the ability to track bluetooth-connected devices.
How we did it
Our development team was responsible for the development of the UI & UX side of the project, developed the designs and the front end solutions. The interface was represented as the easy-to-use and intuitive Dashboard that is displaying a large amount of the data and different controllers that are used to monitor and manage different types of the devices (Things in the system) that are owned by user groups or end users.

Challenge
The main challenge was to implement some features like sending the created invoices to the recipient's e-mail and the ability to print them out or download in PDF format to the different devices.

PSS is an investment assistant platform, a one-page application based on Angular framework using PrimeNG. The platform implies investment assistance.
Challenge
The main challenge was to create an investment platform, using Angular for the front-end part, and C# for the back-end part of the project.

Our development team created both front-end and back-end parts of the project using Angular, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript technologies.

Web application for video meetings
Project Overview
This web-based video meeting application offers a comprehensive service that allows users to collect and analyze statistics related to their video meetings, including the number of participants, their locations, browser versions, and provides a rating section. In addition, users can obtain the start and end time information for each session.
Challenge
Our development team was tasked to create a web application to guarantee collecting information about video calls, including the number of participants, their location, and information about the device from which the call was made. The main goal was to develop a business solution for each user whose activities are related to video calls to collect information, identify and diagnose errors during the call.
How we did it
The task was solved using React and Typescript technologies and their components.
Result
The final result for the customer was a platform that accurately and quickly identifies critical data about the video call, who made the call, where it came from, what device was used, and even recognizes the user's browser version. At the same time, the system searches for and identifies errors and problems that arise during the call and helps resolve them so that video calls run smoothly.

E-commerce Platform

AcuMedia is an e-commerce platform, where users can choose and buy large construction equipment. All the customer needs is to form an order based on the functional tasks of the equipment he is looking for. The platform allows you to select the desired unit in the catalog and get acquainted with the company's service. Additional functionality of the platform is the ability for the customer to sell similar products, set prices, and track orders independently.
Challenge
We were tasked with creating a giant e-commerce platform to help unite buyers and sellers of large home appliances. The stated mandatory functions of the platform for effective functioning are: creating an account to buy or sell machines, browsing and selecting the services offered by the company, browsing the product catalog that includes various categories, and accounting for prices and the location of another seller/buyer.
How we did it
Our development team created a product that meets all the initial requirements and needs of the client, using React, React Native and Laravel technologies. The technology we have chosen thoroughly allows us to create a platform with the necessary set of features and built-in capabilities for customers.
Result
As a result, we created an effective e-commerce platform with selling and buying features for customers built into it. The project is progressing well and has moved into the advanced request stage to create and enhance subsidiary applications and administrative dashboards for selling construction equipment filters.

The platform is the perfect solution for people passionate about self-discovery, light exercises, and overall mind and body wellness. Users can view video lessons on yoga, meditation, and pilates, schedule online appointments with a trainer, participate in events, and pay for instructor services.
Challenge
The main goal of our team was to create a website that would help our client build a successful and sustainable business aligned with their client's values and mission. Another goal was to attract a target audience looking for wellness-related products and services through the product we created. In addition, we needed to improve the login process to make it easier for users to create a login if they wanted to place an order faster, add donation features and improve payment processing for a better experience with the platform.
How we did it
The results were achieved using Ionic and Vue.js technologies on the front-end side and Laravel on the back-end side.
Result
Our hard work results in an easy-to-use website with a set of client-focused elements. We had a placeholder website for a number of years and needed an update within a short amount of time to support a PR initiative. Our core goals were establishing a simple online presence and ensuring a securely hosted and responsive website was available.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We initially shortlisted three vendors and were significantly impressed with the wireframe/skeleton website Darly Solutions provided as part of their response. We interviewed Daria and her team and engaged them very shortly after.

Following an initial meeting to discuss our timelines and goals, we provided outline designs and access to repositories and hosting platforms for Darly Solution to build upon. I'm a director and Head of Technology at a consulting company focused on delivering custom software and integration solutions to the access control, security and logistics sectors.
For what projects/services did your company hire LLC Darly Solutions, and what were your goals?
Our primary product's web platform and API was developed in-house in 2021. The MVP and initial launch was hugely successful but many corners were cut in developing the software in-house. The code quality needed to be improved to allow for scale, and the backlog needed to be moved to additional developers to free up resources internally. That's what we contracted Darly Solutions to assist us with i.e. better code quality for scale and additional development resources.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We considered a number of factors during vendor selection for this project, namely experience, cost, timezone, proficiency in English, professionalism and personality. Darly Solutions had the best balance of all these factors; smart, experienced, friendly, well-spoken, good value for money, and willing to laugh at a joke (very important in South African culture).

The approach here was always going to be quite agile, as we were hoping to learn from the Darly Solutions team as we progressed through the project. We started off with giving Darly Solutions access to our Javascript codebase (Nodejs, Express, EJS, jQuery) and requesting a code audit with immediate recommendations for refactoring the existing code. Darly solutions were then tasked to implement some of the suggested changes, and then to start rebuilding (as opposed to refactoring) some of the existing functionality in a separate space in the codebase, while still using our existing MySQL database.
This continued with weekly updates from ourselves to the specification document, which Darly Solutions would deliver on. We meet weekly to discuss progress and any parts of the specification that might be unclear or could do with improvements. Darly Solutions also provides weekly timesheets of all work completed in the prior week. Recently we moved all the code from Darly Solutions to a completely new repository, which will become the codebase for the new platform. We are currently considering a front-end Javascript framework for the new platform, most likely Angular or Vue.

So far we have worked with one project manager and one back-end developer from Darly Solutions. We have also had brief interactions with a handful of other people from Darly Solutions, including the CEO and CTO.

Nothing measurable at this stage, as we're still busy rebuilding the back-end, with plans to move to the front-end soon. So we have no real user interactions or data yet. However, I can attest to a dramatic improvement in the quality of code produced by Darly Solutions, as opposed to our original codebase.

The project management from Darly Solutions has been great, very thorough when necessary, and also hands-off when needed (to let the development process flow) i.e. flexible to our needs, which we appreciate. We really value our weekly reports and also the ability to reach out to the project manager whenever we need them. Most communication is through Slack, with reports being sent via email. We haven't had the need to implement a task tracking platform yet, this might become necessary later when we scale up to more developers.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their flexibility, professionalism, friendliness and (very importantly) willingness to speak up when they feel that we may not be suggesting the best approach for a feature or requirement ourselves i.e. they don't just do as they're told, they actively participate in the design process, which is going to yield us a much better platform in the end.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I suppose our only comment here is that it would have been nice to see examples of the kind of specifications they would like to see from us. So far we believe the specifications we're providing are working well for them, but some upfront guidance might have been helpful.

We worked hand-in-hand to ensure that we know the user flow of the project. Within their task, they had to provide frontend for features such as setting up demographics, uploading images, and setting up forms.

About seven people from Darly Solutions are working with us. The team consists of a product owner, frontend developers, backend developers and designers. The agency was able to provide us with the full support including DevOps for deployments.

With Darly Solutions effort in our project, we will be able to show our executives how the platform will look like and operate. This was our main goal before the project although we did not know when this meeting would be scheduled.
Therefore, this agency has been very agile with us by following our guidelines and working with the experts to achieve this deadline. The Darly Solutions team have performed very well since the beginning of our project in October 2020 and we decided to add additional scopes of work.
Within this very fast-paced industry, communication, transparency, and honesty is vital to the project and we are happy working with this agency. Our developers as well are very happy to be working with them.

The project was handled very well from talking about the terms of the project all the way to the project being in development. The processes of the Agency aligned with our ideal workflow wherein there is a Product Owner who will be managing how the frontend and backend will be built.
We communicated through Upwork about terms, additional scopes of work, budgets and timelines. We used Slack for immediate responses and we also set up a daily standup. Phil, the product owner for our project gave us daily reports via email and slack on the status of the project which helped us support their team as soon as we see their requests.
We also setup a JIRA board in which we can track the development as well.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What is most unique and impressive about Darly Solutions is that everyone in the team is inherently communicative and understands the expertise of their respective fields. The team is very agile and can predict stress situations in which we work together to fix and maintain.
I believe that every client looking for a development agency require these qualities which can be very hard to find. We know this because we have worked with other freelance candidates before and the chemistry between our team and this agency has been astounding.

I’m the founder and CEO of a healthcare company. We have an online platform that helps organizations dealing with handicapped people. We work mainly with organizations dealing with autistic people. The frontend of our platform had been built by our own team. We wanted to replace it with progressive web apps, and we were looking for someone that could handle that.

LLC Darly Solutions has built a complete frontend for us, based on progressive web apps. The languages used are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We integrated a videoconferencing system into our platform, using Jitsi.

We’ve worked with three people from Darly, including Phil (Project Manager). His English is perfect. It’s very good to converse with him, and he has a precise way of defining the jobs that need to be done. We tell him what to do, and he takes care of it.

We could host the Jitsi platform on our own servers, but recording requires a lot of bandwidth and power, which is a limiting factor. The solution implemented by Darly has the user record on their own machines.
I found a few other companies online, but it quickly became obvious that they were mainly looking to see what they could get out of us. This is definitely not the way Darly does work. I trust them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m happy with them, and I don’t see much room for improvement. I have thoughts on what we could do to expand the relationship, and we are discussing things that may happen in the future. The bottleneck is the work I have to do.
