When we started working on the project, there were still some restrictions in the UK pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, although Elixel was around a 2.5–3-hour drive away, we initially communicated via phone calls and video calls using Google Meet and Zoom. Once the restrictions were lifted, we met in person at Elixel’s office.

The Project Manager was easy to communicate with and provided regular updates. Communication was done through Zoom / in-person meetings, telephone calls and predominantly emails. We were kept up-to-date throughout the whole process and never left waiting for a reply. All deadlines were met and if we requested a timeline that was unrealistic, they were honest and open to avoid setting unrealistic deadlines.
