Excellent. René was straight to the point, Jim was thorough, and for a technical person, he had a way of explaining everything in a non-technical way very well. The project was conducted between the UK and Australia, so everything was remote and in different time zones, but all the tools worked well. Most of the discussions were fluid. If we needed time to think, we could. No concerns with the budget. Everything went as planned. If anything, they saved us a lot of money by helping us explore our options and avoid making bad decisions.

With Thomsons, the number of employees that were dropping out of the journey before Super User’s work was 84%. After their work was completed, that dropped to 37%. That was a 57% improvement of people actually getting through and completing the journey. The first time Super User came in to demonstrate the new user experience, I had the sales director in the room to have a look, and he actually never got to the end of the meeting. It was about six months before the competition started to wake up to what had happened. It felt like we were closing more deals in the following six months until the competition thought about what they were doing. It certainly gave us some competitive advantage in the market.

In one project, Akendi underspent, which I had never seen before. We agreed on several hours, and they were pretty transparent. The team told us they didn't end up using all the time that we had. We had a fixed price, scope, and hours contract with them. We haven't had any issues around project delivery. In at least one instance, they've returned money. We've never had a vendor do that before. They're highly transparent.

It’s a very organized operation, and they’re notably not a shop that’s looking to drive up total cost by logging the last incremental hour or small change orders. They were honest and frank in projecting the time required to complete each project phase. They delivered everything they promised, both in terms of timeline and the all-in cost of the project.
