We selected UNKNW to help us refresh our brand and redesign our website https://www.33east.vc/, as well as help us create any associated brand collateral.

We first started with a discovery phase where we discussed the overall brand strategy - getting to the heart of why we exist as a fund - and creating a common basis of understanding of what we are trying to achieve and why.

The next phase was to work on a general framework for our visual identity, tone of voice and brand principles - the key was to get to the brand essence of what we do. UNKNW had a particular way and process to help us deliver this.

The next phase was a series of iterations on the "execution" part of the brand, including our website, and collateral we use (digital documents, social media assets and so on).

A redesigned website https://www.33east.vc/, a set of brand guidelines, and brand "book" with a series of brand assets.

Our key contact was available, responsive, and was able to both provide his own views whilst really listening to our needs. We had an interaction format which was a combination of periodic face-to-face reviews, and more frequent online meeting "check-ins". This created a cadence where progress was frequent and visible and we felt that the pace was appropriate for the objectives we had set out.

What made it work was the blend of perspectives. Insightful brand professionals see the world in different ways, and UNKNW had a genuinely unusual take. He pushed us hard on what it means to build a fund from an unusual geographic location. We made the case for the exciting aspects of that and described our vision.

We felt "at home" with UNKNW because they had a great balance between pushing what they knew would work, with really taking time to listen and iterate in areas where our input mattered.

Nothing obvious - UNKWN are professional and organised and are good at listening to their clients.

UNKNW prepared marketing videos for us to use when presenting at expos. The team created a modern 35-second CGI video to showcase our company’s innovative technology. The video was a full-cycle project, including scripting, animation, and editing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t measured the video’s success yet, but we’re still waiting for the expo to launch it. Regarding internal feedback, we were shocked that UNKNW could deliver such a video in such a short time and for such a low budget. I was impressed because the video’s quality was like that of the biggest enterprises I’ve seen.
