We had a few projects with L+M. We were happy with the results for all of them. One of the projects was extremely complex and innovative and it resulted with great adoption rates.
How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?
There was a clear sprints plan with a clear split of tasks between our colleagues and L+M. They listed assumptions and set expectations quite clearly too so there were no surprises mid-way through which is a very common pitfall when working with externals.

In the past we've struggled with UX agencies beinga ble to get to grips with the unique positioning of the product and how it interacts with various different users. Andy & Marc at Lion & Mason grasped it instantly and were immediately able to offer insightful feedback and hypothesis from their external and UX focused perspective.
The amount of preperation that went into the user research interviews to ensure particpants weren't lead but were still able to gather vital information that we were looking for as well as some suprise gems that we werent expecting.
The presentation of their work and findings really sets the apart. The reports produced were clear, easy to follow, and digestible for less involved stakeholders. The simple scoring system makes it clear what work we need to prioritize.
