A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior director of marketing at an SEO and content marketing software company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
Our website was very dated from a design perspective. The WordPress backend was also very dated: The site was slow and not user-friendly. The conversion rate was also quite low.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We brought Together on to redesign the website and modernize the Wordpress backend. They also helped fix the usability issues with the ultimate goal of increasing conversion rate. In essence, they rebuilt the entire website, including all the features and functionalities.
They did all the designs from the first wireframe to the final product. The site took our existing branding and infused it with a new design. It’s essentially a new visual identity for the website.
What is the team composition?
We had a main point of contact. As needed, we’d interface with their designers and development team.
How did you come to work with Together?
We liked their aesthetic and they had a competitive price point. I wasn’t involved with the selection process, but our development team was impressed with their development skills.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project began in May 2019. After the redesign was deployed in September, we’ve kept them on retainer and are starting new projects together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen conversions on the site go up by 100% since the project launched. Our team has gotten positive feedback from internal users and customers about the improved look and feel of the website.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s great working with them—everything runs smoothly. We have a shared Slack channel. They are very communicative and always available. In terms of project management, they provided a timeline at the beginning. That timeline was adjusted as needed. They take feedback very well and can implement those things very quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a knack for taking something complicated and making it simple and beautiful. I can give them high-level thoughts and they can translate that into a beautiful directive; they don’t need that much direction.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing really. We decided to extend our contract with them because we’re so excited.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Having a strong point of contact to interface with their project manager or account manager is important, but that goes with any type of agency-style engagement.

Rebranding, Web Dev & Design for FinTech Company
“They have some of the best designers we’ve ever worked with.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of design for a fintech infrastructure company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We were doing a full company rebrand that included visual style, brand messaging, and positioning.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Together helped us with a complete redesign. This included a new logo, color scheme, website design and development, and the creation of new sales collateral like decks on Google Slides and PDFs. Together had their hand in everything surrounding the new branding.
They followed a clear multi-step process that started with interviewing our employees and customers to understand our company more thoroughly. Once they completed that step, they went through the design process, ideations, and brand positioning.
They also created motion animation designs for the website; the products move and are animated.
The website was built using Webflow, and we gave them feedback throughout the process to collaborate on what everything would look like.
What is the team composition?
We interacted with one lead designer, a lead engineer, a project manager, the head of design, and one business manager.
How did you come to work with Together?
They were a referral; a company that Together had previously worked with told us about them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $130,000. We plan on keeping them on retainer and continuing to work with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together between July 2022–January 2023.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched the site, so we don’t have any metrics surrounding that quite yet, but we have great feedback for them and enjoyed working with their team. They have some of the best designers we’ve ever worked with, and their engineers are incredibly collaborative.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
The timeline was in flux due to holidays and some shifting that we had to do, but they stayed on budget. We had a dedicated project manager who tried to meet our deadlines, but it was more important that we got the quality we were looking for rather than staying within the timeframe.
We used Google Chat and Slack for communication, and they were always very responsive. We were in different time zones, but they worked outside regular hours and were very accommodating. We used BugHerd for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They took the time to understand our company before they started doing anything, and they have a strong understanding of fintech companies. They also have a great design sense.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We wish they had more proactive communication in things like the timeline.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Push them to iterate and give good feedback so that you end up with what you’re really looking for.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and managing director of Tanj, a brand naming and language studio.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We needed help with branding and web design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked as partners with Together to develop a new brand for a fintech startup. They led most of the engagement from brand strategy, brand design, and the actual implementation of the website — while we led the development of the brand name.
They also created marketing assets and the final design of a credit card.
How did you come to work with Together?
We found them on Clutch.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together from January–October 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
As branding experts, we looked at the cohesiveness of the brand once it was launched, and it all came together nicely. we're very proud of their work as the verbal, visual, and digital experiences aligned perfectly.
The launch was a success as it garnered a lot of positive feedback from the press, as well as our customers. The launch also helped usher in a new round of funding for the business, gaining upwards of $30 million.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management, communication, and ability to meet deadlines were excellent. We typically interacted via Slack, Zoom, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were super collaborative and easy to work with both as partners and just watching them interact with the client. They were extremely strategic, thoughtful, and engaging, which helped them gain the client's trust quickly.
Moreover, they had a strong attention to detail and focused on identifying the simplest solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’d just love to see them continue to hone their craft. We think very highly of them, and we hope to work with them again in the future.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be an open and honest partner with them. They’re a great team that produces great results, which they make easy — if you’re evaluating agencies, I’d definitely keep them on the shortlist.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at a financial services company. Our main customers are mortgage servicers who collect payments every month from homeowners.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We didn’t have any presence in our market, so we wanted to create a website and enhance our branding to reach more customers and communicate what we do to employees, customers, and investors.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Together has been helping us to redesign and launch a new brand for our business. They’ve offered everything, including strategy, color schemes, web design and development, and copywriting — their team has guided us through every process step. Additionally, they’ve taken care of creating marketing collateral and customized web pages for specific use cases.
It’s been a collaborative process where we provide them with context on our company and what we’re looking for, and they do everything based on that.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 4–5 members of their team, including designers, copywriters, developers, and strategists.
How did you come to work with Together?
A friend who has worked with them referred them to me. We talked to other providers but chose Together because they offered full service, which was very helpful for us.
How much money have you invested in this partnership?
So far, we’ve spent around $75,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We get a lot of positive feedback on their work — their work has been very meaningful and helpful. Also, we haven’t had any bugs or crashes on the site.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is great; we have a dedicated member from their team for that, and they keep everything organized and detailed. They also keep us updated on everything they do.
Regarding tools, we use Asana, Slack, and video calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Together team has great insight; they can provide strategy and help us execute. Their team leads a collaborative and open-minded approach, so working with them has been a fantastic experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — I genuinely think they’re the only design brand I’d recommend.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re a strong team, so I recommend people working with them.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CEO at an early, stage YC/VC-backed fintech startup based in New York
For what projects/services did your company hire Together?
We hired Together for a brand and website redesign on our marketing site. Our previous site was the very first site we launched with, and was in desperate need of a revamp + professionalization.
How did you select Together and what were the deciding factors?
We evaluated a number of potential vendors ranging from cheaper and overseas to premium, SV based designers who have name brand designs, and thought Together was an exceptional intersection of both reasonable cost and great design and prior work with notable clients.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We had a few discovery meetings and spent the majority of the early phase looking at and considering various design directions.
After we landed on one, it was mostly straightforward, though fairly hands on, in terms of coming up with ideas for content and graphics and then having them brought to life by Together in a collaborative drafting/review process.
Lastly, the web dev portion was mostly hands off till the end, at which point the review to clear out any bugs and nuances took a few weeks until full launch.
How many resources from the Together team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We primarily worked with 2-3 folks over at Together - the project lead, our lead designer, and our lead web dev.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We've had strong feedback about our new website from prospective clients and we've been happy with the quality of the leads we've received compared to our old website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communicative and responsive, though probably in retrospect it would have been better to take a slightly more measure twice cut once approach, which has fault from both sides. Together is happy to take a small idea and run with it, which may not be the ideal workflow for clients who have a specific vision.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I don't have other experiences to compare to, They were patient and willing to take feedback.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The part about measure twice cut once - I think sometimes they ran with something and then the end result wasn't actually what we envisioned, but that's fault from both sides and not necessarily unexpected given the scope of the project.

Branding & Web Design for Fintech Company
“They understood how to position our products as our brand's first and foremost important part.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing at a financial technology company providing SaaS analytic products for the use of derivatives.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We were going through a rebrand and also needed a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, Together provided us with branding consultation to define how to develop the visual aspects of our brand. They interviewed our stakeholders and conducted immersion sessions where we discussed our new products and defined our proposition. Then, they used their findings to create our brand guidelines and a new website for us.
This site serves to showcase our products and our brand proposition around them. We requested the site to appeal visually to a more mature audience and bigger, more conservative firms. We wanted to demonstrate that we were a trustworthy and established startup while clearly conveying our differentiator.
As for the guidelines, Together’s work included defining the color palette and designing illustrations and visual assets. However, they didn’t change the logo; they were focused on redesigning our brand proposition.
What is the team composition?
During the first instances of our engagement, three people from Together were involved in the immersion sessions. Then, their graphic design team was in charge of branding and website design. Additionally, a copywriter helped us write the content for the website, and a development team built the site.
How did you come to work with Together?
Our rebrand was triggered by the launch of a new product line. When we were vetting companies, we discovered that Together had creat experience in designing and developing products alongside brands and websites. Thus, we felt that they would take a product-first approach in the branding and website we needed them to create instead of a company values approach. This approach was what we wanted because our target audience is looking for products, not companies.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around £50,000 (approximately $59,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2021. Although Together has already delivered the branding guidelines and website, we still have a relationship with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Together’s designs were great; we’re very pleased with how they look. Now, we’re rolling the brand out across all of our channels, and we think that it really captures what we were looking for. Overall, they did a very good job.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
Together generally met the deadlines. Although the project delivery was done slightly later than expected, they communicated everything in advance. They kept in touch with us regularly, meeting on a weekly basis, if not more often. Additionally, we had a project manager and various other contact points; everything was well managed. We communicated over Slack and Zoom, and we used Notion to document the project and keep track of everything.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Together has great experience in developing products. Thus, they understood how to position our products as our brand's first and foremost important part.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think so.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be as upfront as possible and leverage the immersion sessions by sharing as much information as you can about your business and expectations.

Branding, Web Dev & Marketing Support for SaaS Company
"They’re very diligent and keep us updated on their progress."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of marketing communications at Bigtincan, an Australian software company. We provide sales enablement solutions in a SaaS model to 100 Fortune 500 companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We needed help establishing our brand messaging and visual identity. This meant creating our brand guidelines, voice, messaging, and visual elements from the ground up. Additionally, we needed support revamping our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started by giving Together our project brief. They responded with a robust proposal, and we had a series of meetings where they demonstrated work that was similar to our needs. From there, they built our site from scratch. We used Slack, Figma, and other tools to collaborate and manage the project.
For the branding work, Together conducted interviews with our company’s key stakeholders. We didn’t have many assets in place, so they had a blank sheet of paper. Together drove and managed themselves and came back with branding materials, which we toned down and refined based on our preferences.
In addition, Together also created assets like ebooks and infographics. After launching the site, we’ve added a retainer, so we have their ongoing support in various marketing tasks.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with Cameron (Co-Founder & CEO), Will (Co-Founder & Creative Director), Benjie (Senior Copywriter), a project manager, and some technical resources.
How did you come to work with Together?
A teammate was doing online research and found positive reviews about Together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested over $500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since May 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to the brand identity Together has put up for us, everything we create is now looking professional and aligned. We have guidelines that our vendors can follow, allowing us to work more effectively with third-party resources. Meanwhile, we can track conversions and do A/B testing on our website.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
Together’s project management is excellent and exceptional. They’re very diligent and keep us updated on their progress. We meet face-to-face weekly, although we’ve met more frequently during the development phase. We communicate using email, Slack, Figma, and other tools.
Together is very easy to work with. They organize everything in such a way that we can collaborate very effectively.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re impressed with Together’s personality. They are relatively small, but that allows them to be extra engaged. We don’t get the feeling that they’re spread too thin and we’re just a number to them — working with their team feels very personal.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ensure that your internal stakeholders’ list is complete, so you don’t get any surprises that someone takes interest late and causes rework.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing at a London-based staffing solution. We connect hospitality businesses to students for shift work.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We had a bad website and needed to create a better one. We wanted people to look at the website and see a high-end startup.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built our new site on WordPress. The site features an interactive set of questions with automated results. There are also a lot of animations to convey information in an engaging way. After the site was completed, they also did a rebrand for us with a new set of brand guidelines. Now, we have them on retainer for 30 hours a month where we do design and website development.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Cameron (Founder & CEO).
How did you come to work with Together?
I wasn’t involved in the search. A list of potential agencies was presented to me by a colleague who found them on a website. We looked at 5–6 different agencies. I settled on Together because they only work with SaaS startups, so they have a lot of experience in communicating a complex product in an engaging way. Their portfolio was also very strong. I really liked the style of the websites they created as well. Cameron was very personable in the demos, too.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $37,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in November 2020, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback from everyone internally was positive. We all love the website. Potential clients have also mentioned how useful they found the website.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate via Slack. We also have a video call every week. We use Figma for design and monday.com for project management. They’re extremely responsive and adaptable to last-minute changes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m extremely happy with their work. The quality of work is very high, and they clearly care about a good outcome. They work to create something truly extraordinary. I always trust them to produce high-quality work. Overall, they’re fun to work with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they’re great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to give them the freedom to get creative. They’re all experienced, high-quality designers.

Web Design & Development for Creative Advertising Company

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CMO at Spirable, a dynamic creative platform that works with top world brands and agencies to help them create relevant advertisements.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We were trying to elevate our website and portray our messaging and positioning in the right way. We wanted to do that through a visual identity redesign that represented where we wanted to be as a business. On top of that, our previous website didn’t have the level of quality that we wanted as a business. We needed to step that up, so we turned to Together.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We needed both website design and development services. Initially, we worked on a strategy and looked at our competitors and the market to determine what would help us stand out from the crowd. To jumpstart the project, I created a brief that outlined our objectives, what we liked, and what we disliked. Then, Together brought together a thorough scoping of what the process would be like and what our competitors were doing on other websites. They made sure that what we were developing would help us differentiate ourselves and stand out.
After that, we worked on a complete redesign of our website. We custom-built the website on WordPress, and Together worked to implement what we wanted from a visual standpoint. They came up with new colors and visual elements that we also executed across our marketing materials. They then rolled out the designs into our sales decks and sheets. Overall, they redesigned every other bit of marketing assets we produced. They also created bespoke animation on the website. The logo was pretty much the only thing they didn’t redesign.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Cameron (Founder & CEO), who was our commercial lead. He had a high-level role in the engagement. We collaborated with Will (Founder & Creative Director) on the design side of the project. We also interacted with Ryan (Head of Development), Frazer (Digital Designer), and a copywriter.
How did you come to work with Together?
I found Together by searching on Google, and the reason I went with them was that I liked Cameron’s perspective on how we should build a website. He had great ideas and understood what we wanted; he seemed to understand the objectives we were trying to achieve.
Moreover, lead generation and visual design were important for us, so we wanted somebody who gave us inspiration. In the past, we worked with website developers that didn’t understand that, and we had to spell everything out to them. By contrast, Together seemed to bring our ideas to life, and I had a feeling that they were going to deliver what we wanted when I was talking to them, so I hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around £45,000 (approximately $63,000 USD) or more in total. The website cost £38,000 (approximately $53,000 USD), including value-added tax (VAT). Then, we spent around £5,000–£10,000 (approximately $7,000–$14,000 USD) on the redesign of marketing materials and other things that we needed.
What is the status of this engagement?
This particular project lasted from November 2020–February 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
After we launched the website, our SEO performance improved by about 25%, which was great. That was a testament to the way our site and SEO structure were constructed. Our bounce rate also decreased. More people landed on our website, and they had a better experience. Together changed our visual identity; the look and feel of our brand were transformed with more eye-catching visuals.
Going forward, we’ll continue working with Together on other projects. We’ll be calling them again when we have other creative or development projects, such as one-off campaigns or ongoing tasks.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
Together’s project management was brilliant. They were structured in their approach and had lots of processes in place. Their management was streamlined and clear in terms of what needed to be done at each stage, where we needed to be involved, and what they needed from us. We used Zoom and other video conferencing tools when we needed to go over things, but a lot of our day-to-day conversations were done through Slack.
Moreover, with other website developers, everything needed to stop if we couldn’t give them something in time. They had to wait for us, so our team became a blocker of progress. By contrast, Cameron and his team didn’t need to wait for anything from us. They’d simply start something else, so no time was wasted. I liked that approach.
Together also delivered on time even though there was a lot to do. For instance, each page had custom-built animation, and we struggled with it in the past, but they did it. In other words, Together understood what we wanted and digested what we were telling them, and they managed to bring everything to life. I was impressed with that.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Together team was truly knowledgeable and insightful, and I fully trusted them. They knew what they were doing, which was hard to come by, especially in the tech industry. Some of the concepts that we talked about weren’t easily understood by others, but Together understood us from the get-go. Overall, the team was spot on in terms of capability, trustworthiness, and execution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Engage with them. Together is a great agency, and they produce top-quality work. Spend time making sure that Together has exactly what they need; they can truly run with the project if they have the information they need. Meanwhile, if the team is invested in creating a new website for you, your business also needs to be invested in it.

Since the launch of the website, I've had a lot of compliments on it. But it's pushed us to do more product marketing, we launched a blog, and we now have more inbound leads than we ever had. That was the success criteria for us, and it's being met.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
If anything I was probably a bit of a nightmare because I had ideas but struggled to articulate them. But the team managed me well, they balanced creative direction and suggestion with satisfying my desires, while keeping me honest if I was suggesting something that was tired or played out.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They wanted to work with me. I felt that from the beginning. They saw Programmai as a project that they wanted to take on and gave me confidence they would deliver. I panicked at one stage, that I'd committed to a design that was too difficult to pull off. But they settled me down and pulled through!
Are there any areas for improvement?
None.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of marketing for a SaaS platform that connects CPG manufacturers to the convenience store industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Together?
We needed help launching a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They managed the entire website launch, including design, content, and full implementation. We were launching the site with a brand relaunch, so they designed 25% of the site and needed to re-do all of that imagery to reflect the new brand. It only impacted the deadline by a week and they didn’t charge us more for re-doing everything.
We have one product that serves two sides of the market in completely different ways, which is very difficult to communicate on a website. We needed to separate that UX and Together provided a ton of guidance and best practices on how we could accomplish that.
What is the team composition?
We worked with five people from their team, including a content writer, a dev resource, a design resource, and their founder.
How did you come to work with Together?
My director of digital did a large scoping process where he evaluated several agencies. We narrowed it down to 3–4 agencies and we liked their designs better than the others. They were also the most cost-effective for what they were willing to do.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $65,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2020, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ll be measuring success by traffic and inbound conversions. We just launched, so there’s not a ton of metrics yet. We’ve received really positive feedback. A lot of people mentioned the new site was easy to navigate and modern. It also has great typeface, accent colors, and excellent CTAs.
How did Together perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great. In the past, we’ve been nickel-and-dimed throughout the project when the scope changed, but that wasn’t the case with Together. They did a great job of managing the schedule. We had a shared Slack channel, weekly calls, and our director of digital was in communication with them throughout the process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their perspective on messaging was great; they came in with a fresh view and wrote all the copy. We loved the copy. Their design and UX was also wonderful. The team is really talented in terms of understanding best practices and implementing them. They’re very accommodating, helpful, and communicative throughout the process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
That week-long delay was communicated later than we would have liked. They should make sure they understand their own timelines. If there are delays, they should let clients know upfront.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to hire them and let them lead. Step back and let them be the experts.
Since launch, Together's new site successfully doubled conversion rate. The site has received stellar feedback from internal users and customers. Communicative, responsive, and organized, the project management ran smoothly and their team was always available.
