The plugin was developed to integrate our CRM system with our email platform, enabling seamless two-way data synchronisation. It automatically pulls customer information by mapping recipient email addresses, ensuring real-time access to relevant data during client interactions. This allowed users to view essential customer details, such as account history, past interactions, and key notes, directly within their email interface.

In addition to retrieving data, the plugin allows users to create new customer records from within the email platform and push them to the CRM without switching applications, streamlining the onboarding of new clients and ensuring that all customer records remain up to date.

The plugin also functions as a ticketing system, syncing customer queries directly from email conversations into the CRM, with the objectives of maintaining a comprehensive history of interactions, improving case management, and ensuring that clients receive a tailored and efficient service.

After working with Double Brace for a number of years we decided we wanted to move the shop part of our store over to Shopify. This would allow us to easily integrate with a number of powerful third party apps and have functionality that wouldn’t have been possible with our existing site. Although it was built to a tight budget the new store contains a number of custom UI elements as well as complex shipping rules covering pallet and courier delivery options

Project had no fixed deadline, but Double Brace were aware of, and responded to, the urgency as our website visibility and order volumes were declining. They achieved the transfer of all product information, some of which was not straightforward, with minimal hitches and largely without the need for guidance (being familiar with our requirements historically), and integrated the new Shopify site with our ongoing Opencart based site seamlessly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Double Brace is very responsive should you have an urgent issue or problem, which is always a big plus.  We feel they engage with and understand our aims for any given project, and it helps that we have worked with them for more than 10 years. Their charges are entirely reasonable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Double Brace could have done differently?

We are very happy with their work.  If improvement could be made, I'd love to see them offer an in-house SEO service to complement their web design.  They do of course give input in this area and have some advice, but we currently have a separate SEO agency and would rather have everything fully integrated.
