We were delighted to be chosen as Make It Clear's 'Charity of the Year' and they worked with us throughout 2022 to support our organisation and fundraise. As part of their support for us as they worked with our youth council - Rainbow Power, to help create a poster and social media campaign to champion LGBTQ+ inclusivity and encourage schools to undertake awareness training.

The Youth Council were keen to be directly involved, developing the wording for their campaign, coming up with some basic concepts and ideas for visuals and taking the photographs for the posters. The Make it Clear design team then worked with us to turn the young people's ideas into amazing posters and social media assets that we were able to use throughout the school autumn term.

• The successful production of three designs to convey the 3 campaign messages developed by our youth members The successful development of social media assets for each of the 3 designs100% approval rating from our youth council! A positive campaign and take up of training from local schools

Editing 100 or so videos in a short space of time. Bookending them and adding music. They were sent back to be checked and then uploaded to a drive for me to categorise and file. Some graphic and moving imagery were also done to liven up the intro.

Was just so happy to have you take over the project. I had a very bad experience with my previous editors and your team really made me realise just how wonderful good customer care could be. Every aspect of the job has been a breeze, pleasant, and, most importantly, done perfectly in the correct time frames. My Lululemon Voucher for my bday was the icing on the cake :) Nailed that one!

We are a global cybersecurity company specializing in threat intelligence data to provide protection and insight. My role is a Director.

We use Make It Clear as a partner - an external extension of our marketing team, working across multiple projects, including research, UI, UX, design, event support - the list goes on. On this particular occasion, we had a requirement to build a specialized portal for network owners to easily identify issues with malicious behavior on their network IP addresses.

How did you select this vendor?

Make it Clear was known to me, having worked with them across a couple of projects in a previous role. They came and pitched for a large piece of website design work, and impressed in terms of approach, style and budget. From this point on they became our go-to agency and we work as a partnership, not vendor / customer.

MiC started with a kick-off meeting, establishing requirements and goals etc. This was quickly followed up with a suggested approach and list of required activities to deliver on time. From the persona research and feedback to the user journeys, the wireframing, the testing, and the design - it was an iterative, inclusive journey.

We worked across various teams, including UX/UI, project manager, and the researchers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First and foremost, we've received fantastic feedback from the users of the Portal. This is the most important litmus test of the success of any project. Users find it simple to use, intuitive and fit for purpose. Secondly, this project won gold in the London Design Awards - an added bonus and testament to MiC's approach and ability to work together with Spamhaus and understand our requirements and needs.

Very effective. Their communication is very good, and they listen!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The care they take. UX and UI is really important to this company - they don't just pay lip service to the process, they really live and breath it.

I'm the Business Development Manager of a technology consultancy. We advise clients on how to use technology in smart ways throughout their business. We work with a variety of businesses, from startups to global charities.

For what projects/services did your company hire Make it Clear, and what were your goals?

Our company offers a minimal amount of services within development and consultancy. Our client required the design and development of an application that allowed visitors to customise sneakers for an exhibition they were running. We had an existing relationship with the client but didn't have the experience to fulfil the job.

We hired Make It Clear for their advanced UX/UI experience and to help deliver a ground breaking project. The goals were simple; deliver a virtual, life-like custom sneaker designer that could be used around the world. Time was of the essence and we required whoever we brought on board to be able to turn around the designs in a very short time frame.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We tapped into our network of partners and used Clutch to determine which agency was best suited. After a number of conversations with Make It Clear, it was clear that, when compared to other agencies, they were a very good fit for the job.

During the process of finding a partner for this project, Make It Clear communicated incredibly well, had a clear direction and understood what we were trying to achieve.

Initially, we required Make it Clear to take us through the process of discovery and then present us with a number of design concepts based on the research they'd completed both on a micro and macro level. Once they produced these designs, we then fed back and amends were made. The outcome were designs that we were immensely proud of.

A project manager was our main point of contact throughout the project with additional input from Arya (Account Director) and Sarah (Founder).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the application, it has seen high uptake and usage, with positive feedback from all stakeholders. The design worked perfectly with the exhibition. All of the visuals around the sneaker designer worked in cohesion and the UX/UI was simple and easy to use.

Make It Clear's communication was incredible throughout the project. In addition to weekly project meetings, we were kept updated on project progress through an Asana board and Slack channel.

What was most impressive was their ability to understand the brief develop a number of unique ideas, take on board our feedback and then hone those ideas into a final concept.

Not at all. They were fantastic throughout.

We were working closely with Virgin to help develop Newsletters for them. Make it Clear were able to produce designs, which we then developed.

We have done lots of work with Make it Clear before and it was never a question as to who we would work with on this.

Make it Clear worked diligently to create 10 different Newsletter templates for this client. Each template was thoroughly thought through and catered for different content types. Once the designs were mocked up, we worked closely with Make it Clear to go through them and understand all the different mechanics.

We worked with both the designers and the Account Director, Arya.

The client was exceptionally happy with the Newsletters and these were distributed digitally on a National scale.

The workflow has always been brilliant with Make it Clear and SoBold. Our offices are very close in proximity and we were able to meet at each other's offices when we needed to go through things.
