Key clients:

University of Ulster, Warmflow, Antrim & Newtonabbey Borough Council, Shelbourne Motors & many more

Shelbourne Motors have been working with Scaffold Digital since 2016 to fully digitise processes from sales right through to HR. They first reached out to us to redevelop a legacy system that they had been in place for around 10 years previous, they firstly wanted to extend this platform to try and fully encompass their needs. However, after we worked with them to establish their objectives, whilst also carrying out a full

technical audit on the existing platform it was decided that we would re-build the platform entirely, including new functionality to help them achieve their goals.

Shelbourne Motors have a fully responsive, secure portal that allows them to track sales, run reports, manage warranties, carry out internal audits, asset management and many more features that assist everyone in the business day-to-day. They have achieved their goal of digitising all processes and saving administration time throughout all parts of the business.

Ireland A Directory 2019 Image

Ireland A Directory 2019

The Institute of Public Administration (IPA), based in Dublin is Ireland’s only public service development agency, focused exclusively on public sector development. For the last 53 years the IPA have commissioned the printing of a hardback book, known as ‘Ireland – A Directory”. It is an inclusive and extensive directory with approximately 9,000 organisations, covering both the private and public sector. The IPA first

approached Scaffold Digital in late 2018 with the desire to re-create this book in digital format as a mobile app for both iOS and Android, alongside a bespoke content management system.
EU Swim App Image

EU Swim App

EU SWIM first approached Scaffold Digital in early 2019 with an invitation to tender for the design and development of their new mobile app and management system. The EU SWIM project is a cross-border research programme dedicated to developing a system for live bathing water quality monitoring at multiple beaches across NI and ROI. The EU SWIM project team had developed an API that allowed us to access data that included

predictions of water quality, temperature and the tidal forecast of these beaches. We were tasked with displaying this information in the format of an app, alongside events information, full beach profiles and partner information.

The EU SWIM team have an app for iOS and Android, a bespoke Laravel content management system and a link to the active API pulling live water quality updates. We turned this app and management system around over the course of 12 weeks, allowing the EU SWIM team to launch the app at the start of the 2019 bathing season, giving them maximum opportunity to market this app over the summer months on beaches across NI and ROI.

The Keep App Image

The Keep App

The Cithrah Foundation approached Scaffold Digital in 2017 after securing funding from Comic Relief to design and develop an app and online web portal to help victims of domestic abuse track and record incidents in a private and secure environment. The project included a mobile app and a cloud management system that included two factor authentication. The Cithrah Foundation wanted to create a mobile app to help victims of

domestic violence record incidents in such a way that should they ever need it, they would have a comprehensive and useful account of what happened, all recorded in a secure location.

Outcome: The Cithrah Foundation now have an app for iOS and Android with a cloud-based management system. The app was designed to ask users a series of questions that would allow them to record incidents of domestic violence in such a way that if they ever needed to use them in the future, they would have a detailed and useful account of events. The app also allows users to add photos, video, audio recordings and the date/time of everything submitted. As soon as users answer a question and submit it is synced straight to the cloud management system and encrypted for them to access at any time. Registered users could then login to the online portal at any time to review their submissions from the app.

ANBorough App Image

ANBorough App

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council (ANBC) first engaged with Scaffold Digital in early 2018 to design and develop a new mobile app for both iOS and Android as well as a bespoke content management system. The new app was commissioned to help ANBC better engage with citizens in their catchment area, making it as easy as possible for people living in the local area find out information about their local councillors, bin

collections, local services and much more. The new ANBC app needed to be developed in tandem with the new council website as they were keen to develop an API link to pull the most up to date content into the mobile app without the council having to enter the same content in multiple locations. As part of this project we were required to work alongside Simply Zesty in order to fully meet the requirements of the council’s digital strategy.

Outcome: ANBC now have an app for iOS and Android with a cloud-based management system. The app has successful API links with the council website and their external administration system Te-Care which has allowed the council to encompass everything they need to allow their citizens to fully engage with the council as easily as possible. The app will allow users to explore all local services, get directions and find out more information about the facilities available to them in their local area, all of which can be updated in real-time through the management system we have provided to ANBC.
