Research the marketplace and make recommendations about designs for a kid's SVOD product that would be familiar and simultaneously unique. Design the SVOD product from the ground up, collaborate with Product and Engineering and receive direct feedback from President and CEO-level stakeholders.

Work with engineering to deliver assets and design guidance through the development process. Deliver a design system from the final designs in production.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Delivered the project at an accelerated pace that allowed us to launch on a timeline of less than 100 days from the initial project inception. The quality of the work was not compromised or diluted to accommodate our rapid deadlines.

A high standard of excellence was maintained throughout. Brought UXD discipline to a team that was completely lacking in this critical piece of the digital organization. They were able to introduce and educate the team in a way that brought everyone along enthusiastically.

Beyond launching the product, they helped transform the culture of the organization as rapidly as they delivered designs.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Yes, items were delivered faster than any design team I've ever collaborated with, and then in keeping us on track with our aggressive goals, they would work in real-time to deliver assets within sprints to prevent our engineers from being blocked by missing designs.

This required working on two tracks, building the conceptual framework for the future scalability of our app in one track while delivering day-to-day tickets during active development at the same time.

Enthusiasm, collaboration, speed of the work and their contribution to the culture of our organization.
