EBY by Sofia Vergara
For Renata to consistently provide loans to microfinance institutions around the world, she and fellow Co-Founder Sofia Vergara created EBY, a social enterprise that drives profits with purpose. With the understanding that dependence on charity was an unsustainable model, they positioned EBY to provide 10% of proceeds to empower women out of poverty and into business.
In 2005, Renata studied microfinance under Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. She then launched a loan-providing program for over 800 impoverished women. After experiencing Indian culture for two years, Renata understood the respect that sari-covered women held for their lingerie. Back in the States, she saw the need for a paradigm shift — to reposition lingerie as a tool for empowerment rather than seduction.

Sesame Street Official Store
A colorful community of monsters, birds, grouches, and humans. A place where everyone counts.
In 1969, Sesame Workshop’s founders asked a single bold question. Could television—then an emerging technology—be used to educate kids? With a diverse cast, a research-based curriculum, and some instantly-iconic characters, Sesame Street sought to answer that question—and it changed children’s television forever and became a longtime favorite for children and adults and staple of PBS Kids.

Peanuts | Snoopy & Charlie Brown
The Peanuts Store offers a tasteful collection of entertaining and inspirational branded products from the iconic 70-year-old comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz.
On October 2, 1950, Charles M. Schulz introduced a brand-new comic strip with an unlikely round-headed hero, “Good ol’ Charlie Brown.” PEANUTS was born. Soon, readers came to know and love a whole cast of indelible young characters: philosophical Linus and his crabby big sister Lucy; piano-playing Schroeder; attention-grabbing Sally; pals Franklin, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Pigpen and his famous dust cloud. But no one stole the show quite like Snoopy, the coolest beagle on the planet. From humble beginnings in just seven U.S. newspapers, PEANUTS grew to become not only the best-loved comic strip in history, but a true global phenomenon.
Today PEANUTS is featured in global online syndication and in thousands of newspapers worldwide; in classic television specials and in new streaming series “Snoopy in Space” on Apple TV+; and in mobile apps, stage productions, feature films, and books (hundreds of them). PEANUTS has inspired theme park attractions, public art projects, and every kind of consumer product from pj’s to popcorn makers.
PEANUTS speaks a universal language—and has also introduced a vocabulary all its own: "Good grief!," "security blanket," "You blockhead!" and "Happiness is... " For fans everywhere, happiness is PEANUTS.
The Peanuts store is operated and powered by TWG Konnect.

Harvard University
In 1957, a group of Harvard students came together and invested in the model "For students, by students." Since then, a small group of undergrads has grown this endeavor from makeshift businesses out of dorm rooms to Harvard Student Agencies (HSA), the largest student-run company in the world (yes, we were pre-Mark Zuckerberg!). Today, HSA is a non-profit company with 15 different agencies (of which The Harvard Shop is one!), 500 employees, and is still run by Harvard college students.
Each design is crafted intentionally to complement the Harvard alumni, students, faculty, fans, and visitors we serve, capturing the classic essence of Harvard, its tradition, its history, and its timelessness. All profits go back to student wages and operations, so you always know where your money is going.

I am a social media intern at a high-end jewelry store based in NYC. We work with clients to design custom jewelry and sell engagement rings and wedding bands.
For what projects/services did your company hire Arctic Grey, Ltd.?
We wanted to update the design of our website to be more clean and modern. We wanted both desktop and mobile sites to have a better user experience and be able to navigate the website more easily. We also wanted to improve our website speed scores.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We wanted a company that was well versed in Shopify and would be able to guide us in design decisions but also in the best improvements to be made to our site.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project started with our desktop website. We went through the home page and product pages in detail to assess the best way to improve their design and user-friendliness. We worked on adding new features like pop up pages and recommended products to the website pages and updating older features like favoriting products.
Once the desktop site was mostly done, we began working on the mobile site - again, going through the homepage and product pages to make them more user friendly. We also worked on some of the additional pages like our history page and we worked on improving the website speed as well.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with 2 members of the team who met with us over virtual meetings and communicated with us over email. There was also a team of developers that worked with them behind the scenes.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website has improved drastically. It is aesthetically much nicer and the layout of the pages is better organized. The speeds have improved as well and we have been able to add some additional features like favoriting features, wishlist features, and suggested products that make our website more user friendly and more dynamic.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was extremely effective. The team was amazing at staying in contact with us and constantly updating us on the progress of projects. They were always responsive to emails and punctual and well prepared for virtual meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
This company had amazing communication and always had a solution to our questions or design requests. Their fast and knowledgable responses to our questions and emails meant that we were always on top of projects and were able to get this extensive project done in really great time.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We were extremely happy with the team and their work on our project, I would not change anything.

We are a consumer goods company, selling DTC as well as B2B. I help oversee our vendor relationships, sales, our websites, and more!
For what projects/services did your company hire Arctic Grey, Ltd.?
We had built out a design for our website that we needed to implement. The challenge was to implement it in the most cost effective way without sacrificing quality, and to launch it in the shortest amount of time possible.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to have a beautiful, functional website up and running quickly. Also, a website that was easily editable by our team on the front end, as we aren't experts with code.
How did you select this vendor?

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They helped build out our new design for our Shopify website, for desktop and mobile. We handed over a design mockup of what we wanted and they quickly built out the code and transformed it into a real working site! As with all projects, there were multiple rounds of QA and testing. They always responded and worked extremely quickly, making the entire process stress free.
What was the team composition?
We had a team of 3 people doing the QA and testing on this proejct. I'm not sure how many developers they had working on it (probably at least a few!); Anthony was my one and only main point of contact.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
This is N/A just yet.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We had one main point of contact (Anthony) for the entire project, which made communication easy. He was very thorough with addressing all the points we had in the many emails we sent. He was also extremely quick in getting back to us. Excellent project management all in all.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The efficiency and turnaround time for their work was impressive. The quality is extremely good. Their willingness and ability to make everything work and implement nice-to-have features, even as we clearly went way above the budgeted hours, was mind blowing. For a project like ours, it would have easily went 2-4x the budget, had we gone with another vendor partner.

Website Development for Skincare Company
"Their transparent, proactive approach to the collaboration makes them easy to work with."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Notox Girls, a natural skincare company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Arctic Grey, Ltd.?
I hired Arctic Grey to develop my website. I knew I wanted a fun, appealing, Shopify site but needed support in creating a solid vision for the platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
After Arctic Grey helped me create the design for my website, they developed the platform from scratch. For the e-commerce functionality, they built a straightforward, uncomplicated Shopify tool so users can find specific products. Although they taught me how to make updates on the website, they’re available to support any changes I need.
In addition to development, Arctic Grey provided guidance on best practices for social media. They gave me tips on how to reach my target audience and how to optimize my marketing campaigns.
What is the team composition?
I work primarily with Anthony (Administrative Director, Arctic Grey, Ltd.).
How did you come to work with Arctic Grey, Ltd.?
When I reached out, they gave me the best quote with the quickest response time. I also liked their approach by showing me what the potential website could look like if I worked with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $20,000–$25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2016 and Arctic Grey provides ongoing support.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of their support, I have a great rating on Google. Their guidance regarding social media and the marketing campaigns helped me maximize my engagements and investments. I’ve saved a significant amount of money because my efforts are more concentrated and effective because of Arctic Grey’s insight.
How did Arctic Grey, Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been great at managing the project. They respond to all of my emails and we speak at least once a week. They’re available for further site development whenever it’s needed and they track all progress.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their transparent, proactive approach to the collaboration makes them easy to work with. I appreciated the various options they presented me for how the site could look. They helped me figure out what I really wanted and then delivered it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although this is a struggle for all companies, I wish there were more proven, guaranteed marketing strategies.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Allow them to show you their own ideas. Although you may think you’ve decided on a concept, they could impress you with their own materials.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Senior Product Manager of a Public Company. Responsibilities. Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision. Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products. Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
For what projects/services did your company hire Arctic Grey, Ltd., and what were your goals?
Our previous website was built on a different platform, and we needed to migrate our site to Shopify Plus. Since we didn't have an in-house development team specializing in Shopify, we hired Arctic Grey to design and develop our Shopify Plus store. By doing this, we hoped to increase our conversion rates and average order value through A/B Testing and faster release intervals.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for Shopify developers and asked colleagues for recommendations. Arctic Grey was one of the few highly recommended agencies. We narrowed them down with four other firms to give us a shortlist of 5 Shopify Agencies. After interviewing all five agencies several times, we chose Arctic Grey because of their immediate communication, past projects, list of clients, reviews, and recommendations directly from Shopify.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there, the team delivered beautiful figma mock-ups for our site. After a few iterations, we signed off on the UX designs and green-lit development. Once they delivered the development preview, we had meetings discussing how to make for a seamless user experience, all while implementing subtle features to help increase CR & AOV.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had their director of options, two success managers, a team of designers and engineers, and a few quality assurance analysts.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching our site, we saw a 46% increase in ATC events; our CR increased by 23%, and our average order value increased by 11%. We also noticed fewer customer support questions as the site was more intuitive for our users.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had two stand-ups each week with their director of operations and two merchant success managers who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays, they were quick to let us know ahead of time, but in all fairness, these delays were primarily because of last-minute features we requested. We used Slack, Monday and Google Meets to coordinate and they worked well with our team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They delivered a stunning Shopify Site that was fast, responsive, and easy for us to update as they spent extra time building out the CMS for us. Our team had never worked with Shopify before, so they took the time to teach us how to update the content ourselves.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They seemed to give extra padded ETA on deliverables, so we had to plan our marketing accordingly, but they always delivered earlier than projected, which was refreshing.
