I am the Chief Digital Officer of the Optionis Group in the UK

For what projects/services did your company hire UX247?

We were designing a new website for one of our major brands and wanted to launch a transactional capability for our business to complement our offline sales capability.

How did you select this vendor?

UX24/7 had previously worked with us on a related research project and had completed a UX review of our existing websites. In addition I have been using their services at other businesses for a number of years.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Following on from the initial research project, our team worked with the web design company to create a series of prototypes for the transactional design based on best practice. As I have done on previous project with UX24/7 we decided to test the concepts in a first round of user testing before refining the demo and testing again- enabling us to get the maximum insight into the design without building the final website,

My team worked with UX experts as well as management.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the first round of testing we made changes to the design based on the feedback and then tested again with the new version. Once we were happy that all issues were resolved we were then able to commit to coding the site ready for launch.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had regular updates throughout the project including progress meetings with the web development agency. In addition, we had good representation from across the business at the usability sessions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

UX24/7 has never let me down with their approach of combining user testing with real analytical data. They followed a very open approach to solving our problems. They also took the time to better understand our business before making recommendations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Very little else to recommend.

We wanted to ensure that a range of design and content changes to the site were as user friendly and intuitive as possible.

We based our selection on the talent and the experience of the people who in my experience are second to none in terms of understanding online user behavior and customer journey mapping.

UX/24/7 carried out a number of live user experience sessions and one on one interviews and then provided a detailed set of expert reviews and feedback on each design change made.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

None that I am prepared to share - but all delivered to a very high level and professionalism, and they where prepared to challenge the client.

Excellent

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very professional and easy to deal with. Always prompt organised and showed a continued real interest in ensuring the site was as effective as possible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope I'd recommend them to every client.
