However, the team was always willing to jump in and make themselves available, regardless of the time or day. Having that level of access was tremendously helpful. We’re also grant-funded, so sometimes, we never knew when our funding would come in. Nonetheless, Learngistics was very patient and supportive of our program. They understood that our grants office could take a couple of weeks to get things together. There were many layers at the university, but they were very flexible with that.

When they did that, we began seeing how to take ownership of our financial environment. Rather than sit back and be told what to do, we started to be candid and honest.

Once we approve it, we can trust that it will work out to that amount and that the code will be clean. I also asked for some sort of a communication system so that my users can communicate to each other through the site rather than through email. My previous developers handed me something like a Word file that delivered messages instead of a real communication system.
